Bear Lodge @ Wedgewood Resort

The room is very comfortable, clean, welcoming. All staff has been kind and welcoming. There is a great touch screen in the lobby with super information on the resort amenities, how to get around Fairbanks and things to do in Fairbanks. I wish every hotel and resort had such a help! We definitely recommend this place to stay!

Very pleasant hotel with spacious rooms, decent facilities and a bar and restaurant. It’s in a quiet location about 2 miles from downtown Fairbanks, and has nature trails and an automobile museum nearby. If you don’t want to eat in the hotel there’s an Italian restaurant a few minutes walk away. Friendly staff. Open summer season only

The beds were comfortable, the service was amazing, all around it was a very welcoming stay! The history books throughout the room were very interesting! I loved it! We also felt that it was super affordable! The rooms were very clean and tidy!

The "front desk manager" jasmin was unfriendly and no customer service. Woke up to bed bug bites on my neck and went to go tell them. They never offered to check until I went back a second time to ask for their name and title. Dining had better customer service.

Staying at the Bear Lodge was an enjoyable experience. Our room was large and clean and comfortable. We were surprised however that for a multi-day stay, housekeeping only comes on the 4th day, and therefore it is your responsibility to monitor your toilet paper supply, your towel supply, and your wastebaskets. There are also a limited number of electrical outlets for charging your electronics, and some convenient built-in usb ports would have been greatly appreciated. ||The Bear Lodge is close to some great nature walks, as well as Creamer’s Field for wildlife viewing. The grounds are nicely kept with superb flower gardens. The personnel are also friendly and helpful. All in all, a great place to stay.

Clean comfortable rooms. They only clean the rooms every 4 days of your stay. There is a restaurant cafe and bar on-site. Staff is friendly and cordial. They try to help you and meet any needs that you may have during your stay. Definitely will return. I appreciate their time and effort during my stay.

We had a comfortable 2 night stay at this resort. The rooms were spacious and clean with an airconditioner, which we appreciated on the warm summer day we visited. The restaurant had numerous options, from chips and salsa to hamburgers or fish, and the food was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was also a great Italian restaurant within walking distance.
