I love this little motel. It was built in the 50s and the rooms are mostly original save for a couple of upgrades. Prices are reasonable and staff is patient and kind and accommodating. It offers all you need for a relaxing stay in Waterton. I like the outdoor community picnic area located in the parking lot/courtyard. It offers a bit of a social aspect if you’re looking to meet other visitors while enjoying your meals.

If you harken for the more simple times, check out Bear Mountain Motel. No digital keys to mess with here. The room had everything that we needed. Vic checked us in and made us feel very welcome. Easy loading/unloading access. The motel is conveniently located with easy walking distance the towns attractions. Most importantly, the room was clean and supplied a comfortable bed at the end of the day. A memorable experience for sure!

This was our second stay in less than a year at this motel on a motorcycle trip. It was close walking distance to restaurants, beach & shops, room was clean, the room we were in appeared to have an upgraded washroom & shower which was nice. Two bedroom and each room had AC. The gentleman who checked us in was excellent at making sure we knew where to park our bikes, where the coffee etc. was and showed us where the rags and wash buckets to clean the windshields of our bikes. |However, he could not stop himself from complaining about our loud pipes as we started up to move to the room. I did offer to go stay elsewhere, which we will next time, and he said oh no that's fine lol! I get it, but good customer service would be him to keep that to himself.

The worker at the hotel was full of advice and friendly. The towels were fluffy and soft! Lots of things within walking distance. This is a great hotel!

Awesome stay! Our favorite stay on this trip, they even left my dog a little bone. Super comfy, warm, and quiet. We got board games from the front desk since it was raining and the heater felt so nice. Would highly recommend this place

Excellent value for the price. The bed was the most comfortable I slept in during our week in Glacier/Waterton and location is good. Good quality coffee in the office area. Agree with prior reviewers that the soundproofing between rooms is nonexistent. That’s the only thing that would prevent me from staying here again, but I’ve read that Prince of Wales has the same problem at a muchhigher price point so not sure if any lodging in the area has better insulation between guest rooms.

We stayed here last September and are booked for this September as well. I forgot to write a review. This place is really quaint. It feels like someone’s cottage (in a good way). Near downtown, the pier, and Cameron Falls. Coffee, tea and even board games available in the lobby and barbecues available along with utensils. We liked it so much that we booked dates for September 2024 before leaving. The rooms and bathroom are small but functional.

Great affordable family place to stay. To note: we could hear conversations going in the next room VERY well. We brought a sound machine which helped. There wasn’t any shampoo/conditioner so remember to bring that. The man who checked us in was very kind. The beds were comfy. Location was great. Overall enjoyed it for what it was. May have had more complaint if it wasn’t the best priced place around.
