Bear Packer: A Highly Recommended Stay My recent stay at Bear Packer was truly delightful. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the cleanliness of the entire facility. Everything was well-maintained and impeccably clean, contributing to a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Rain, in particular, deserves special mention for their exceptional kindness and assistance. Their attentiveness and willingness to help made a significant positive impact on my stay. Overall, Bear Packer offers a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment thanks to its fantastic staff. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a pleasant and well-maintained place to stay.

Location is great. Close to Bangla Road and Patong Beach. There's a great massage parlour right outside. Service and cleanliness are okay. You do need to let them know that you want a bed sheet change though as they don't normally do that unless you're checking out. The only thing I didn't like was the 'No Shoes' inside the hostel. It's just a hassle. Providing slippers or something would've made things easier and a lot less slippery. And the pool pictures are a bit deceiving. The smaller pool/jaccuzi is the hostel's. The other bigger pool is the for the hostel next door. Other than that, it's decent for the price.

Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient I was pleasantly surprised by how clean this hostel was. The bathrooms were spotless, and the dorms were well-maintained. The beds had privacy curtains, which I appreciated. The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and nightlife just a few minutes away. The staff was always ready to help with recommendations or bookings. Highly recommended for budget travelers who want comfort without breaking the bank.

Though the room size is small, rooms are pretty neat and clean, kudos to their no shoes policy. One thing was that even the drinking water is not free and you have to pay for drinking water in the hostel. Cozy vibe overall and not loud.

Safe and Secure Stay As a solo female traveler, I really appreciated how safe and secure this hostel felt. The keycard access for rooms and lockers gave me peace of mind. The staff was super friendly and always available to assist. The hostel also organizes group tours, which made exploring Patong and beyond so much easier. I’d recommend this place to anyone, especially solo travelers looking for a fun and secure place to stay.

A Social Paradise for Travelers I stayed here for a week and absolutely loved the vibe. The hostel is perfect for solo travelers, with plenty of common areas to meet fellow backpackers. The location is great—just a short walk from Patong Beach and Bangla Road, but still far enough to have some peace and quiet at night. The dorms were clean, the beds were comfy, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a sociable yet chill place to stay in Patong, this is it!

The girls are the reception were super nice! The rooms had air con and curtains, so that was nice. However the door was mostly slammed by people leaving the room, so sleep is not great. Bathrooms were really nice!! Upstairs area looked nice but it was under renovation. Great rooftop to smoke and there is a pool!

This hostel hugs! Feels very homey and comfy. Would definitely stay there again. Rooms are clean, bathrooms are very clean, staff are very friendly, and the location is perfect, beach and everything you might need is only 2-4 minutes walk.
