BearPacker Patong Hostel

Had an incredible stay here with my boyfriend from 12/31-1/4. We immediately were greeted by the ladies at the front and the check in process was very smooth. Make sure you have Baht for your deposit. We stayed in a private room/bathroom. Perfect amount of space, great AC, plenty of clothing storage, a mini fridge, and a safe (which we were super pleased about) is provided. Overall we were very satisfied with the price for as good as the cleanliness was as well as location and staff. Will definitely book here again if we find ourselves in Patong

Great hostel, love the concept - Bearpacker incorporate theme from bear, so there's diff levels like panda, polar etc all bears.. even the faucet is bear shape (dang cute)1. Staff is cool, Nong Saw Fay greeted me and was super nice2. Location is 500-600m away from bangla street. No clubs near this hostel, hence very peaceful at night3. Room is very clean with sizable locker, can fit my bag4. Amenities on 4th or 5th floor is cool, with communal area, rooftop pool etc, just a place to chillShort stay there, but it was memorable

Very friendly and helpful staff. A relatively quiet atmosphere considering the location so we got great sleep. Beds are comfortable and have charging ports, lockers, towels, etc as you'd expect. The only issue I'd mention is that the room did have a damp smell, but for the price and location it's not unbearable for a night or two.

I can't say enough great things about Bear Packer hostel. I am so glad that we decided to choose this one, over the money other options in the area. The location could not be more convenient. We are directly across the street from the beach and tons of stores, including the essential 711 lol, dining activities and fun are literally surrounding us. The staff here is SO friendly, and they have been extremely helpful to us as well as the lovely owner! THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS EXCELLENT ENGLISH ON HAND. Plus, it is a woman owned business! Love that. We are staying in the deluxe room called PANDA 2. It is very affordable and has one of the biggest beds I've ever seen in my life. No joke I think this bed is about 11 feet wide. Great sheets and bedding, tons of water pressure and hot water. The air conditioner works good too. Wi-Fi is good ..zero drops. We have been hanging out a lot in this really cute little round window seat Couch thing in our room. We are generally so happy and there is, of course, the jetted swimming pool on the roof as well. We have twice now extended our stay because we just love this hostel and don't want to move on. Such kind, friendly staff, and in general, I would just call this hostel extremely high value! Definitely would recommend.

We are a group of 4 Girls and we had a great time at the Hostel! The rooms were very nice and the staff was really friendly! We met Kek there (he is the Barkeeper) and went out with him and we had such a fun time!

We booked a double room in this hostel, it was very noisy outside until midnight everyday. The room was smelly and the sink was leaking. They didn’t make up our room for two consecutive days and when we asked why, the staff said it was our responsibility to request it every morning, which is quite unusual. The hostel also has a no-shoes policy, so I left mine on the rack outside. The next day they were gone, and I had to buy a new pair. Then on the third day, my shoes suddenly reappeared, in a filthy condition.

Location Excellent because opposite to beach and near to Patong/Phuket Walking Street. Bangla Road is 300m. Airport bus in front of hostel. Lot of foods, massage, clubs here

Lovely place to stay if solo travelling met a lot of people rooms and facilities are really nice and staff are lovely as well
