Bears' Coffee & Deli

I went here for the first time with a group of friends that usually frequent this place. They all complained that this is not the usual standard of fare or service. Maybe they have new owners and are trying to find their groove? The service was terrible. Food was also not good, I didn’t really eat the food I got except for the fresh bananas & papayas on top. We all ordered the same exact drink, and it came out one at a time, 10 minutes apart. Same with the food. People that came in after 20-30 minutes after us were getting served food before us, and we barely even got our drinks.

I hate to give 1 star review but I have to in hope that the management/owner will do something to make this place better. Food was good and waiters are friendly but the place is DIRTY! Floor looks like never been mop, vacuum, or sweep for weeks, flies flying around. There's a small cockroach on our table! The food presentation is so gross! Look at the photos I provide. The staff are so disorganized!! They are great but hugely mismanage. My husband and I overheard the cook said "We are out of eggs" and someone said "Deal with it! Talk to the customer!" By the door, there's badges that says "Hawaii Best Coffee shop/Restaurant" and clearly this is not Hawaii's standard when it comes to cleanliness, etc I am contemplating, should I call the DOH and have this place inspect?

We read a few reviews on this place and thought we'd give it a try. So glad we did!!! I ordered the Works breakfast sandwich and it was as good as any breakfast sandwich I've had. My wife got the ham, egg and cheese sandwich. Both came on an English muffin with a thick slice of cream cheese. The coffee was really good too. We were in a rush to see the nearby waterfalls so we ordered it to go. Very nice and friendly staff.

Classic, reliable diner food. I ate so much I almost went into a food coma. The half portion of biscuits and gravy is only $7 and is huge! It comes with soufflé eggs which were perfect. The macnut waffle is great. And the people are super friendly too.

Very cute and reasonable prices. Casual breakfast only open from breakfast and lunch. Had the blueberry waffle, a breakfast sandwich, and a breakfast burrito . Spent about $40 for 2 people including juice and tea and a cup of fruit Very tasty

I enjoyed the bean burrito, I never had a burrito like that before just with beans and cheese - very filling and tasty. Shot in the dark coffee beverage was very good too.

sooo good. this is just like the place I always wanted to visit. nice and friendly people, good food, nothing fancy, great food great service.

Good food ,service was very friendly. Parking was kinda difficult,but found a public parking lot near by.
