A wonderfully decorated bear themed stay. The room was relaxing and the bed was very comfortable. The quiet nights were great as I expected a little traffic noise. The bathroom was warm and the shower was better than most hotels. The staff were so friendly and welcoming.

Dreadful place to stay😱 Noisy all day from early morning until 7pm the owner hammered, cut timber and drilled outside our room too- he never once apologised and in fact stated that he didn’t care that he was noisy as he was going to rent out rooms permanently. Seconds after I got under the shower the hot water failed. We changed rooms but nobody offered to help. When we were out the housekeeping delivered fresh towels however I discovered that they had opened my fully zipped up bag-so watch out! Staff ignored us when we arrived and didn’t introduce themselves-hospitality was non existent-steer clear of this dark dingy dump! Zero stars 😒

The bears went over the mountain is a unique place to visit and stay! Placed in the heart of Geeveston where locals and tourism meet for a lovely coffee or tea. Relaxing and cozy atmosphere is just what you need after a hike or a walk in town. Manu is a great host he makes delicious scones. Can't recommend enough this gorgeous place!

Great little place to stay in Geeveston. The room was very clean with a comfy bed and good shower. Our hosts were friendly and helpful and the accommodation is right across from the supermarket for anything you need while there. The highlight was the Platypus Walk which is just across the main street. We spent an hour or two watching a couple of Platypus play in the river (head there in the early evening!)

Absolutely lovely staff happy to cater for every need. Rooms were huge with comfy beds and adorable decor. The food was yummy and although my father and I always ventured out before breakfast the girls were always quick to make us some lovely coffees to take with us. The staff were also really knowledgable about the area, which was really helpful for a couple of tourists like us. Would definitely stay with again!

My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights. Our room was nice but could have done with a small table and 2 chairs. We had a double bed and 2 bunks. Bed and pillows were comfy. Cooked b/fast was included in the tarif. The place was a boutique B and B. But it served evening meals and alcoholic drinks in the comfortable dayroom, cafe, bistro. At night they had a nice fire going in the fireplace. The food they served was of good quality and well presented. Some people might have had to wait longer than they expected, but like everywhere in Australia staff shortages were a problem. All up,our stay was quite enjoyable.

Lovely country cafe, always warm and welcoming. Food is hearty and homely with great modern flavours. The owners and staff are always kind, generous and accommodating to our needs. We've even accidentally walked in when they were closed but they still made us coffee and tea. We regularly stop in on our way through Geeveston because of its relaxed and easy going atmosphere.

OMG the room is so cute!!! My children fell in love with this place straight away and now contently deep in sleep. So warm, cosy, inviting, just a beautiful place. Most unbelievable thing about this place is that they provide cooked breakfast with drinks with an amazing room rates. Thank you Audrey for your great hospitality!
