Bearslake Inn

Sunday lunch for three after a walk on the moor. We had booked a table and the service was excellent. Fast polite and attentive enough without being overly intrusive. A delicious roast dinner with crack my crackling on the pork. We enjoyed it so much we even went for pudding. It was all priced competitively given the prices of these things these days

We absolutely loved our stay at Bearslake Inn. Our gorgeous garden room was lovely and large with the really good quality range of teas, fresh coffee and hot chocolate. And we loved the little basket with everything we needed for our dog. We had an afternoon tea in the garden and Sunday lunch during our stay. Both of which were delicious. And a really good range of wines too. The staff were also really lovely. A big thank you to you all for making our stay so special.

Had Sunday lunch whilst staying locally on holiday. Bearslake Inn was recommended by previous holiday makers staying at our lodge. Food was excellent and the service was wonderful and attentive. They were able to accommodate our request for a smaller lunch for an elderly member of our family. We hope to return for a midweek lunch and enjoy the lovely garden ( weather was pretty miserable on our visit)

We stopped here for dinner on our way to Cornwall & and it was perfect. Delicious 'home cooked' food. Really tasty and thoughtfully done. The broad beans in my trout dish had been popped our of their thick outer skins. A nice detail, most places don't bother to do. Delicious.

After a long walk across the Moors we had a hard earned dinner at Bearslake and it was divine. The pub is beautiful inside and they were super accommodating with our dog. We had an amazing 3 course and everything was perfect! Stevie was a great host and we had a brilliant evening. Highly recommend!

Exceptional in every way. Our family stayed two nights for a wedding. Our whole stay was magnificent from start to finish. We were greeted and attended to throughout our stay by the most delightful staff. Always on hand and extremely efficient and friendly. My husband and I stayed in the Hayloft which was very comfortable and spacious with lovely powerful shower. Our family stayed in equally good family rooms with dogs and grandchild. All perfect. We had all our meals at the hotel, including the wedding reception itself and the food was top notch. We really felt so at home and well looked after nothing was too much for the staff. The wedding reception itself was delightful and everything the bride could have wanted and more. The location is great with a lovely garden and great views. Plenty of lovely walks on the doorstep. We hope to return. It is so rare to find a place of this quality.

What a lovely place. We had a fabulous meal and the service was brilliant. The Summer Pudding was perhaps the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended.

We stayed here with another couple and 4 dogs between us and it was fabulous. The rooms are so nice, we had an amazing mug view over the garden and river. Touches in the room for the dogs were wonderful. The evening meal was delicious, as was the breakfast hamper. It really felt like we were spoilt. Would definitely recommend and return. Staff were brilliant.

Great pub with lovely food. The garden is absolutely gorgeous and has a nice stream at the bottom of it. It's a nice place to stop if you are riding your bike along the Granite Way. Bikers in muddy clothes and children are welcome!
