I've had my fair share of BBQ. Everyone seems to have a different way of seasoning their beef, pork, turkey, etc, and most seem to be good... but... this place is on a totally different level, all on its own. The pork steak is out of this world delicious, and that, along with the brisket, were my favorites! They use great quality pork because the marbling on it was amazing. It was so good, but every other bite would just have a little extra of the fatty delicious goodness that just made you want to dance in your seat! You can't go wrong with any of the sides, but the candied bacon and the Mac and cheese were just beyond my regular expectations. No BBQ sauce is needed on this meat. It was perfect exactly the way it was served. I will be telling everyone about this place, you can not talk this place up enough, it will exceed your expectations. The staff was very kind, helpful and friendly. I am just glad this place is not close enough to where I could go on the regular... because I'd be in serious trouble. Small space, so either order to go or get their early!

This is a well known place in the Belleville area.We don't live close so we rarely go here but we had a gift card to use, so here we are. When you walk in there is a self serve kiosk but when I asked if I was supposed to use this, the young lady happily said I can just take your order here.We both went for the brisket plate with two sides.I had fries and beans with pork belly. All the soft drinks were from the local brewery offering SKI products.Another local gem.The food came out quick enough and was good qaulity. The only surprise was the bill for 2.Just wasn't expecting that much but this is not a fast food place and we ordered Brisket, which is probably the most expensive meat. There are cheaper options available. I posted.below pictures of the menu and the food.

Absolutely incredible BBQ spot! Beast Craft BBQ Co. nails it on every level — from flavor to vibe. We tried the ribs, brisket, wings, and several sides, and everything was top-tier. The brisket was tender and juicy with the perfect bark, and the ribs had that sweet heat glaze that makes you go quiet while eating (you know the kind). The mac & cheese was creamy with a crispy topping, and the Brussels sprouts? Outrageously good. They’ve got a great selection of sauces on every table and plenty of local craft drinks in the fridge. The space has a casual, industrial vibe with chalkboard art and a butcher shop aesthetic. Service was fast and friendly. Plenty of seating, and it’s a great place for groups or casual bites. 📍20 S Belt W, Belleville, IL Highly recommend if you’re anywhere near the Metro East. I visited my husband’s family recently. We’re from Southern California, where there isn’t any good BBQ. Last week, we stopped by for lunch, and I have to say, this is the best BBQ I’ve ever had! The pork steak was delicious, the brisket was one of the best I've tasted, and the mac and cheese was amazing.

Google
Entrees: The Brisket comes either lean or fatty. I ordered the lean and definitely enjoyed the smoky flavor, but since it was lean I did add some sauce on top so that it wouldn't be dry. I really liked it with the Texas Chainsaw sauce that they have. The Kielbasa was a standard kielbasa and crispy on the outside, which I always like a crunch. Sides: The Brussel Sprouts were super crispy just the way I like them, but also salty which I know is probably most people's preference. The Cheddar Mac was very creamy and cheesy, topped with breadcrumbs for a crunch. Dessert: The Banana Puddin' is a must for dessert! Topped with caramel and chocolate chips. I had to bring most of it to-go because I was so full, but they already serve it in a lidded container almost like they know that it's too much for one meal. Yea this place is delicious and worth a detour.

Food was amazing! Pork steak was so tender I didn’t need a knife. Mac n cheese and candy bacon were delicious, staff is super friendly. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. You have to give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Google
I ordered the Sweet and Spicy Turkey Melt with Fries and I also ordered the Smoked Turkey Plate with the baked beans and the bacon Mac and cheese. My brother order the brisket with Cole slaw and fries. The Sweet and Spicy Melt was soooooooo delicious and I will be ordering it again. The baked beans has brisket or some shredded meat added and it was good the Mac and cheese was delicious too. I liked the smoked turkey but I did not taste anything smoked about it just taste like deli meat but still good and it comes with tortillas for if you want to use it and put the meat in the tortilla and top it off with BBQ sauce. My brother enjoyed his brisket and fries but he said the slaw was to dry for his liking. I also tried the fries. The fries are yummy. The BBQ sauce are good. They have many to choose from. I ordered my food to go and it was quick to receive the food. I will post pics of some of my food but the pics does not justice because overall, great place, good customer service and I will definitely be back!

Yelp
The name says it all -- Beast. Because this BBQ goes hard. We ordered a mix of ribs, brisket, wings, and sides and honestly? Every single bite delivered. The brisket was juicy and smoky with a beautiful bark. The ribs had a sticky-sweet glaze with a little heat that made them fall in the "don't talk to me, I'm busy eating" category. The wings were solid too, but the sides? Stars in their own right. The mac & cheese was creamy and topped with golden crumbs, and the Brussels sprouts were crispy with bits of pork that sent them straight to flavor heaven. The potato salad and baked beans were also strong players on the tray. The vibe is casual and cool -- think metal + wood + butcher-style chalk art on the walls. Fast, friendly service and plenty of seating made it a comfortable spot to linger. Pro tip: Don't sleep on the sauce lineup -- try them all. You'll find your favorite. Beast Craft BBQ Co. -- Belleville, IL Would I go back? Absolutely. Should you try it? Yes, and bring your appetite. Yelp
For 10 years, I have seen a BBQ joint in Belleville, IL on Top 100 BBQ restaurants. I thought it was odd that it would be in Illinois but 17th Street BBQ in Murphysboro passed the test so let's see how Beast stacked up. I went with the 2 meat plate with pork steak, the Saturday special of pork belly burnt ends, potato salad, and cheddar mac and cheese. The flavor on the pork steak was superb with the mix of BBQ and steak. The pork belly bites overall were good but both meats suffered from the same flaws. I love BBQ and meat that just melts in my mouth. Both of these meats achieved that but there was also the other spectrum. There were moments where the meat gave my jaw a workout especially the burnt ends. I realize burnt ends are suppose to have that contrast and it might be a preference for me. But something else would be trying to cut it with plastic ware. Anyway, the highs of the meat surpassed the lows. The cheddar mac and cheese was the better of the two sides. It was superb and I highly recommend it. The potato salad was the baked potato variety. It was good but it seemed like it needed more of the conglomeration added to it to smooth out the overly potato taste. The best part of the meal were the sauces! They were leg-end-ary! The vinegar, Texas Chainsaw ( peppery), and Spicy Mustard would be among the best sauces I have had. The Standard was all right for a mild sauce. I was pleasantly surprised to see sweet tea that got the job done with my BBQ! I want to come back by and try more of Beast's BBQ!

Yelp
While on vacation in St. Louis, we were searching for a great BBQ spot and Beast Craft BBQ Co. came highly recommended--so we made the 40-minute drive, and we're glad we did! The brisket sandwich was excellent, served on a flavorful bun with a fresh coleslaw topping. The fries were also a hit. We tried the pulled pork served on a tortilla, along with the sausage, pit beans, and more fries. The pit beans were especially tasty and full of flavor. One standout was the grilled cheese brisket sandwich--rich, cheesy, and satisfying. We also ordered the rib tips, which were good, though the ribs themselves were a bit tough and had more fat than we preferred. Overall, everything tasted great, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our visit.

Yelp
We ordered the smoked chicken wings and the turkey sandwich. We also got the potato salad. To be perfectly honest all the food was very good however, it was extremely salty and I found it somewhat un edible. The turkey sandwich was the best. It had a lot of good things on it however it was still too salty for me. The potato salad was one of the best I've ever had and again it was way too salty for me. We got carryout so as far as the service went, it was very good. The server helped me carry out the bag of food to my car. I would say that if you have no problem with salt, you would absolutely love this place. They put a lot of thought into the sandwiches and the wings as well as the potato salad.

Yelp
Absolutely the best pork steak I've ever eaten. Pair it with their killer baked beans. You've got yourself a world class bbq meal. Or don't. Taco Bell is across the street.

Yelp
This is the best BBQ spot in Belleville. My cousin drives from St. Charles to eat here regularly. I do live in town and get my orders delivered but they come promptly and still warm!y go-to order is for ribtips and fries with extra bbq sauces. The food is just tender and flavorful!

Yelp
Real deal. That is all I have to say. This was my first time at the belleville location. I was bummed when they shut down the location in the grove as it was a regular spot I hit. In any case, the flagship location is incredible as expected. The interior has 2 primary dining areas. 1 half is small with a traditional bbq joint feel, and the other half has stools and a counter similar to a diner. I thought that was pretty cool. The food was superb. The brisket was fatty, salty, peppery, juicy. Cooked to absolute perfection. Tender and bursting with flavor. The fries are crispy, salty. Amazing. The seasoning they have on them is amazing. Oh, and their fry sauce is tangy perfection. The slaw is great. A pretty traditional slaw with a bit of mustard and vinegar behind a mayo base. Additionally, the tortillas they serve their plates with are so addictive. They crisp them up and it is amazing. The service was great also. The place was jumping for lunch, but they had ample staff to tackle the rush and keep the systems running smooth. I wish they still had the grove location because the belleville location is a small road trip for me, but well worth it.

Yelp
I can't believe I'm saying this, but one of the best bbq spots in America is in Belleville, Illinois! This place is amazing, truly one of the best bbq I've ever had, and I've been all over the US. It's a small restaurant, with a small dining area, and a small parking lot. Make the trip and try it for yourself, you'll be surprised.

Yelp
Fast casual spot with a bar but they don't serve alcohol. Plenty of seating. We got take out about 5pm on Saturday. 6pc smoke fried wings with two sides, pulled pork sandwich with a side, a la carte side of brisket and the comp'd pulled pork bit given for downloading the app. The staff were really nice and patient. It wasn't busy so no pressure to make decisions but I suggest know what you want before you go in. Get the app and place your order online. I attempted to order from their site and the system won't allow online orders at this time. Everything was good but the best was the wings. Juicy, crispy, and has a great dry rub blend. We got way too much food but worth it!! We'll definitely hit here again when in town.

Yelp
I just don't understand the hype. I was in town for work and the locals RAVED about this place. My boss and I figured we'd stop by. First off, the hours on Yelp are incorrect and need to be fixed. This place is actually open from 11-9 everyday and not the 11-3 on some days. The service is too notch. The cashier taking orders is very friendly and she sells the food. Courtney, our waitress is TOP NOTCH! She gave us great conversation. I learned all about her 16 day trip around the world and how she wants to go back to school and move to Gatlinburg someday. (Give her a raise please). We started off sitting on the dining side but is was BLISTERING cold. An old lady and I joked about it and she advised I sit on the bar side. I took her up on her suggestion. That side was waaaayyyy warmer and food friendly. Now on to the food. OVERHYPED!! (It's nowhere near the hype) I ordered the Well Fed Beast which came with Rib Tips, Sausage, pulled pork and brisket. For sides I chose Baked Beans and bacon Mac & Cheese. The pulled pork is DRY DRY DRY. The sauce couldn't save it. I left it on the plate. The baked beans are decent. The Bacon Mac & Cheese is TRASH. It reminds me of bacon bits sprinkled over some oddly tasting noodles and cheese. The sausage was decent. The rib tips were ok as well as the brisket. Sadly I will never be returning. Food is a 1 for me. Customer service is a 5. Combine those and divide by 2 and you get a smooth 3! Courtney SAVED THIS FOR ME. I really hope Courtney reaches her dreams and I wish this place the best and added seasoning for their food.

Yelp
Friendly staff and service was incredibly quick. We came in a group, and by the time the last person ordered, the first person had already gotten their food. We got a lot of food, and I felt like their portions are actually pretty decent (good for taking home leftovers). We ordered the (award winning) mac and cheese, brisket, spare ribs, and fries w/ rib tips. Sides included potato salad and southern slaw. The candied bacon looked good but that was sold out. The mac and cheese definitely lived up to the hype; it was super creamy and cheesy. The cheese blend was very interesting - I couldn't put my finger on what it was but I really liked it. The brisket was tender, with just the right amount of smokiness, and the spare ribs had that perfect fall-off-the-bone texture. The rib tips on the fries were packed with flavor and paired well with the crispy fries underneath. Honestly, it was probably one of the best/crispiest/well-seasoned fries I'd ever had. The BBQ sauces were also really good. The sides didn't disappoint either. The potato salad was creamy and had a good balance of tanginess, and the southern slaw provided a refreshing crunch to cut through the richness of the meats. A little bit bummed we missed out on the candied bacon, but everything we did get was well worth it. Probably one of the better BBQ places we've had in STL, and that's saying a lot from a Texas-boy. 5/5 would come back.

Yelp
Came in for an earlier lunch while we were in the area on Saturday. Pretty quiet still and there was no line (11:30am) I went for the turkey plate with side salad and baked beans, my husband did 2 meats with brisket & kielbasa - Mac & cheese and Brussel sprouts on the side. Loved that the plates come with 2 stretchy delicious homemade tortillas. I made some BBQ tacos. Portions were judge and we had plenty for another meal. Wish they still had their grove location but this wasn't too far and is definitely worth the drive! Will be back.

Yelp
As a resident of St. Louis, I found my journey to this spot very nerve-wracking. I miss the location they used to have in the Grove. Driving through the downtrodden streets of East St. Louis was very sketchy and filled with moon craters. When I finally made it to smoother streets it was another long journey. If you sneeze, you WILL pass the location. It's got a surface lot that dips down. When I pulled in, hardly any cars were parked up front. Most were parked in clusters on the lot like a used car lot. Once inside you can go to the right for to-go orders or to the left for dining in. No one was at the dining in counter but there was a kiosk. So I started inputting my information to place an order when one of the servers came up to assist us. It was too late for me at that point and I let her know that. My friend was unsure of what she wanted. I ordered a brisket plate with extra sauce thinking maybe they wouldn't have any on the table or something and was charging for it. Maybe it was for to-go orders only? If so, why have a kiosk at the dining stand? Anyways, my sides were brussel sprouts with pork belly and cheddar mac. The lady handed me a table number after I put in my own order and my friend and I picked out a seat in the corner on the to-go side where I sat and faced the door. It had diner vibes like a place folks meet up in movies to plot out how to get their loved one back whose been kidnapped. I was on edge the entire time. One of the ladies working there was on break watching shows on her phone very audibly. The other waitress must of been a customer favorite because one guy was looking for her specifically but she was on break. Again, adding to my crime series diner vibes. Our food came out hot and quick. I stared down at the cheddar mac which in my mind would probably be some dried out yellow AF mac and cheese. Nope, it was soupy in texture and probably made with white cheddar. My friend had brought me a spoon, knife and fork which I was thankful for because I ended up eating my cheddar mac with a spoon. The brisket sat atop of one tortilla so I was confused and thought they messed my order up. I even came to Yelp to make sure I wasn't tripping. It had picked onions on top of 2 pickle slices. Pickles at restaurants make me nervous because usually they are too salty for me. These pickles and onions were perfect together. So I poured some sauce on top of my brisket and topped it with the onions and pickles to form a taco and ate it. I had a mix of lean and fatty brisket so it was flavorful and lean at the same time. Chef's kiss! The cheddar mac was good for the soupy appearance and it was topped with bread crumbs. I searched for pepper on the table and there was none. Would of been better with black pepper on top! On to the sprouts. It was roasted with oil, seasoning and had a few pieces of pork belly throughout. I felt the belly was a bit too crispy but the flavor was on point. My meal was about $20 after taxes and tip and I did not order a soda but asked for a cup for water. The water in Illinois tastes funny to me so I ended up getting bottled water from my car. Some crazy guy came in there begging adding to the sketch vibes so we didn't stay too much longer after that. I wish they'd reopen in STL or in a better location but they've been there for 10 years and the food flavor is why. I'd get a to-go order next time lol. Also eat on the left side of the dining area if you want to stay warm in the winter.

Yelp
Great BBQ! Had a 2 meat plate of rib tips and brisket. The rib tips had a unique flavor almost equivalent to Korean bbq and the backed beans and fries were great. The brisket was tender and flavorful. I would recommend you try it out if you are ever in the area.

Yelp
Absolutely Delicious! The brisket was fabulous. My husband had the turkey milk with bacon, jelly, and jalapeños. It was absolutely fantastic. The sweet tea is very authentic. The staff was beyond precious and friendly.

Yelp
Oh my gawd! In the middle of nowhere, Beast (which is a horribly unfortunate name) will take you by surprise. Small and unassuming, this BBQ restaurant is anything but. Big portions, amazing BBQ and interesting sides like organic kale and Brussel sprouts. Also random, they sell Kaldis coffee. Which I got and it was delicious. I also ordered the pulled pork sandwich with slaw on top and side of their smoked bacon Mac and cheese. Amazing. I had so much pulled pork I put half on one side of the bun and ate it open faced for both sides. My gusbac

Yelp
Okay, so I'm "one of those people" who saw Chef David several times on TV and HAD to go while I was in STL to see a show. So technically I drove 6 hours for this BBQ and it was totally worth the hype. The food is fantastic! The rib tips were by far some of the best I've ever had. The bbq sauce is tomato based which I also haven't had, (I've only had Midwest and Texas bbq) but again it really was fantastic. My partner had the pulled pork sandwich and waffle fries. Waffle fries were decent but it came with this cinnamon maple dipping sauce that was absolutely fire. Here's the kicker, we were all so enamored with our food that we didn't notice the sauces on the table; and didn't try them until the end.. The vinegar based bbq sauce was by far the best part. It elevated the already amazing food to the next level and you can bet I asked Emily, the extremely lovely and helpful employee that was there to get me a side to go for the leftovers!!!! We got us some scooby snacks for the 3 doggos which they absolutely go nuts for and we will be back any and every chance we get!

Yelp
They have indoor and outdoor seating. The restaurant is well lit, tons of windows, spacious, and clean. The food is so mouthwatering & tender.

Yelp
Had lunch at Beast BBQ today and I was so impressed by the quality of the food. The portion of meat on the sandwich and amount of fries also made it a great value as well. Everything from the deliciously unique sauce, pickled onions and fancy bun elevated the sandwich. The employee who helped take my order was very helpful and friendly. There is a dining area and bar area with plenty seating. This is now one of my favorite Bbq places and it's about a 45 min drive for me!

Yelp
Food was excellent. Easy to get to with ample parking. Side salad was premium. Sauce options were just right. Portions were plentiful! I have nothing but good things to say about this spot!

Yelp
Stopped here with buddies for an early dinner on a Saturday. The hype with which I'd been supplied about this place a few years back when it first opened was substantial. Made it a little odd that there wasn't really a wait despite it being 5-ish. We got a platter for two with ribs, brisket, pork, and sausage along with some extra beans/slaw/fries. Food was delivered in about 10 minutes. All of the meats were perfectly okay. Brisket was tender, pulled pork was also tender and seasoned well, and the fries absolutely stole the show. All of the sauces were solid. But on the whole? For being pretty hungry when we showed up, nothing was really spectacular, nor did it live up to the hype. I was told afterwards by a regular that it just wasn't quite as good as it was when they first opened. And I could see. Still seems like a fine place to stop in for BBQ if you're nearby, but measure expectations in the fine to good range.

Yelp
Friends and I have had their bbq pork steaks, which are epic! This time we saw they came to our Belleville Octoberfest last weekend. Got lucky and they didn't have a long line at their booth. They had chicken legs, brisket, pulled pork sandwiches, potato salad, and cheese tots. Most to name a few of what they had to offer. Ended up trying the tots. The cheese sauce had a little tang to it, but overall I really liked it. I even put my own spin on it. Poured some bbq sauce over them. It's always fun to come down town Belleville for events like this and try different vendors out! A lot of the prices on items were a bit high. so just bear in mind, if you use cc at some of the vendors. They do charge process fees. It's definitely worth going to the event during the day vs at night.

Yelp
Food was great! Easy laid back environment. Service was courteous. I will return there again.

Yelp
I used to love this place... As an east sider local I loved seeing them win awards in the St Louis area... Just went here today after Art on the Square 2025 in Downtown Belleville... Thinking it would be nice to carry out some dinner and head back home to Shiloh... There prices have gone up tremendously... Assuming because of the awards... Staff is still good... However the quality of Brisket for $30 a pound?... Well see the pics for yourself and perhaps if you like a giant % of fat for your $30 per pound brisket then you'll love it!... Our family doesn't however and most people I know don't... So I won't go back there probably for many years... They have gotten arrogant with prices and quality has gone way down... Definitely don't deserve any more awards with this crap and I hope they find a necessary dose of realty from shitting on the people that supported them... I ordered a pound of Beef Brisket.. and a pulled pork plate (Which was also fatty.. just not as) with sides of Brussel sprouts and a house salad... had a Busch Light while I was waiting for carry out... I tipped $7 on the order bringing the total to almost $70... I don't mind paying this much for good food... However having to rummage though fat to find good food is not worth it in my opinion... There are other places that didn't win awards that probably need the business since they charge much less for much better quality... My wife called and they said perhaps I could come tomorrow and they would reimburse me... Nope!... You don't get to charge these prices... ruin someone's dinner and get second chances... The assumption is... When you charge what you charge and have the recognition that you do... That my meal will be worth it already having the trust in a higher end place... knowing the price going in... Beast should lose the "All Killer No Filler" slogan... This amount of fat I would be considered filler at $30 a pound... I feel like I paid about $60 a pound for the edible meat parts my wife and I could eat... I don't mind a reasonable or small amount of fat... It's BBQ.. but when it's almost half?... Ok I'm done venting.... I hope this review helps people spend their hard earned dollars elsewhere for a while... and I hope Beast gets back to doing a good job and EARNING the dollars... Currently out of sync with reality and almost like scamming people at this point

Yelp
First visit. Pulled pork and brisket was really good. I sampled all the sauces. The "Standard" is the mild, sweet and slightly smoky sauce. They also have a mustard-based sauce, spicy hot sauce and vinegar drench. All good. I had the rib tips and snoots. Not a lot of meat on the tips, but flavor was very good, tender and moist. If you prefer more meat, get the full ribs. Snoots were excellent. My only negative was that the rib tips and snoots were super drenched in standard sauce. I would have preferred less or dry so I could try the other sauces. But I bet you could ask for it to be dry. The potato salad is very good. French fries were excellent. The young black man at the order desk was super nice and helped us since it was our first visit and even asked us several times later if we needed anything. Dining area was clean and comfortable. From out-of-town but I would definitely return when we're in the area again!

Yelp
This place came highly recommended. My wife and I went over for a Sunday lunch. They open at 11 and we got there about 10 til and there was already folks waiting. Service was friendly and quick. The place itself is clean and well maintained. They were having an issue with their soda machine but had other drinks available. I got the two meat combo with fatty brisket and ribs. For my sides I got macaroni and cheese with bacon and potato salad. The brisket and the ribs were delicious! My wife who is not big on ribs ended up eating some of my ribs because they were so tender and full of flavor. The macaroni and cheese could be a meal itself absolutely delicious. The potato salad was great it is loaded it is a loaded baked potato salad with sour cream and the fixings. My wife got the Turkey and pulled pork and the same sides. Her Turkey and pork were outstanding. This place is amazing! I will definitely return and recommend you try it too. I hear the pork steak is a dish you have to try.

Yelp
Reviewing the food only. There is not any service here. A cashier takes your order, self-serve drinks/utensils/take home boxes, and a runner brings your food. I'm fine with it but it feels weird to tip for this. Food was amazing. Delicious. Flavorful. Yum. I had a small salad with turkey. I would have preferred the turkey warm but it was just kind of room temp. Tangy dressing, greens were crisp. At 7.5 (for just the salad-not including the meat) it's a little pricey for a very basic side salad. But it was good! We also had the well fed beast platter. Husband raved about every component of the plate including the condiments. Came with bread and tortillas. So moist it didn't even need a sauce which was good because there are only plastic utensils. Sides were also excellent. Excel soda! My favorite! Seating is super basic but not too tight in the dining area.

Yelp
Awesome and amazing food! Love the service. Place is always clean and easy for a pick up or dine in order. We got pulled pork today and all enjoyed our lunches. Highly recommend for good BBQ.

Yelp
5 STARS from a VEGAN. On a work trip this week. 4 members of our team came in Monday for dinner and couldnt stop raving about this spot. They brought the rest of the team back that same week on Wednesday. EVERYONE was impressed by there meals. 2 of the team members are vegan but ordered a beer and a fun soda. The owner came out to the floor to check in on everyone and saw that 2 of our team members were not eating. When he found out they were vegan he was so incredibly kind and took it upon himself to craft up some secret menu items so that they had something too. Incredibly kind staff, amazing food, and a great vibe. You HAVE to check this place out!

Yelp
Located near S. Illinois and 158, they are pretty easy to find. The parking lot is large with handicapped parking near the entrance door. Walking in, the dining area is to the left, as is the ordering counter. We were greeted right away and made our selections. We were then told to sit anywhere. Seating is a mix of tables. Our food took less than ten minutes to arrive. The pork sandwich was well filled with meat. The smoked flavor was noticeable but not overpowering. The meat was moist without making the bun soggy. The Texas Chainsaw sauce was a great compliment and I also used it for the plentiful shoestring fries. The bacon mac and cheese was exceptionally good. There was certainly enough bacon and the creamy cheese made the side almost luxurious. There was a little left over which we had to take home. It was just as good the second day. Their menu holds a decent array of options and would certainly support multiple trips exploring the menu.

Yelp
I ordered the turkey sandwich and mac & cheese based on the server hyping both up. Similar to what others have posted, the meal overall was pretty good but not mind blowing, as it was being sold. I expected something better, especially for $17. Perhaps I should've ordered some actual BBQ instead of a turkey sandwich and I would've enjoyed it better.

Yelp
Love love love this BBQ! We come whenever we are in the area. Sometimes we build a trip around being able to eat here. The last visit they had Beef Rib on special and it was epic. Tender and melt in your mouth. I always love the Brussels and belly and the Mac and cheese.

Yelp
Randomly came across this gem when looking for a lunch spot on our way to apple picking. I've been dreaming of their turkey sandwich ever since! I wish I had a picture of it, but it's the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and the quality of meat is amazing!

Yelp
No. 1 for us! The best pork steak so tender you can eat it with a spoon. This is our favorite BBQ place We would always get the prk steak with a side of roasted brussel sprouts in bacon and candied bacon.

Yelp
Really yummy food, incredibly fast service. Visited on a Thursday evening. Ordered pulled pork, kielbasa, wings, candied bacon, fries, and drinks. Bacon was a bit cold, but everything else was hot. Loved the crispy fries and all the sauce options. Total came to be just about $50 for everything.

Yelp
Ordering a little out of the ordinary but the food was fantastic. Pork steak sandwich was outstanding. Fatty brisket perfect. Love the sauces. Had no idea this place was here or would have been going every trip back to the STL area. To me this is one of the best BBQ paces in the STL area. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Bestttt bbq in town hands down!! Pork is so tender the brisket is SOOOOO good and don't get me started on their bbq sauce. I love the feel inside it's a great vibe everytime I go there even for a pickup order

Yelp
OMG. The BEST BBQ I have had in a very long time! I usually like my bbq ribs wet with sauce dripping down my arm and when I received my order I tried the ribs without sauce and just couldn't stop eating them! They were THAT good! I had mac & cheese and the brussel sprouts and both were outstanding. There was no way I could eat all she brought so I was thrilled to take some home. The gal who waited on us was very outgoing and funny and just made our experience even better. Will definitely go back!!

Yelp
Their turkey sandwich was the bomb and Mac n cheese was awesome. Wouldn't recommend the brisket sandwich as much. Seating can be dicey and you might be sitting with strangers if you don't fill up the entire table with your party of people.

Yelp
Brisket was just what you would want. To-go packaging of sauce is a simple thing, but if you don't put the tops on, or place them in a spot where they can be opened by another package, you end up with sauce all over the bottom of the bag. Overall, food was excellent and beans were fire.

Yelp
There is no BBQ place that will ever out BBQ Beast. We stumbled upon this gem years ago and this business has basically seen our children grow up (and our family grow) because we come so often. If we had one place to choose to eat at, for the rest of our lives, this would be an easy choice. The employees are fantastic and always know what we're ordering when they see us. I love how cozy, yet spacious Beast is and their menu is fantastic. Always get the fry sauce!!

Yelp
The food is always amazing here. Their pulled pork is the pulled pork against which I judge everyone else's pulled pork because theirs is perfect. Their brussel sprouts are exceptional. Their mac and cheese - mouthwateringly good. I have never had anything bad from here. Now, I normally don't eat much bread - today, however, I decided to get a sandwich (I usually get a plate) and thought about having them hold the bun. I am so glad I didn't have them hold the bun...that bun was probably the best bun I have ever had on any sandwich - ever. Although I had my order delivered, I am going to say that the service was really good, as my food arrived hot and quickly, as well. When we have gone inside the restaurant to eat, the service has always been really good. The place has always been clean and well-kept when we have been there. Staff have always been very pleasant.

Yelp
This girl knows her barbeque and THIS is good barbeque. As you enter, you'll see that you're in good company: Beast has been reviewed and praised for quality and taste. But don't take their word for it. On this visit, I got a pulled pork sandwich and upgraded my side to the creamy cole slaw. I wasn't too excited about the tobacco onions but I was so wrong...they provide a slight crunch and a tang that I didn't even know the sandwich needed. At Beast, you can pick your barbeque sauce and today, the choices included a cherry sauce. I wasn't sure what to expect, maybe something sweet? I got the house AND the cherry because why not? The cherry had a surprising little kick to it and the house is just a tangy compliment to the moist, smoky pulled pork. But I think the secret is the cole slaw. On it's own, it's serviceable, nothing wrong here; creamy, slight crunch but when you take a bite after the spicy cherry sauce, it cools down your mouth really nicely. They have a selection of "House" sandwiches that were tempting....and maybe I will try them but you just can't beat a good pulled pork sandwich!

Yelp
We did a pickup order and the food was excellent! Honestly it's what we've come to expect from The Beast and like always, the pork steaks and pulled pork as well as the sides were all perfect. Thank you!
