Beatrix Hotel

A very nice hotel, or better to say, pansion ("hotel" does not describe it well). Nice garden and quiet surrounding, parking for guests, good breakfast on the terrace.

Beautiful, very cosy and charming family owned hotel. Interiors made with love and attention to details. We stayed only one night, if could definitely would stay here longer. This is one of the places you want to return. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect for me, because it was near a friend we came to visit. For others, the new one-way street grid could make it difficult to access. But, it certainly was in a pleasant neighborhood. The staff was superb in dealing with my requests during a 5-day stay, and they maintain a spotlessly clean hotel and beautiful grounds. I believe the infrastructure and breakfast need significant improvements.

We've been staying at the Beatrix since 1991 almost annually and this year decided to bring our kids and grandkids from the US to meet up with our Hungarian family. The hotel did a phenomenal job of providing just the right rooms and catering our reunion event. Extremely fair costs for rooms (breakfast provided) and the event. The owner and staff are always attentive, courteous, and friendly. English, German, (and Hungarian) fluency.

A very clean and pretty Family pension-hotel with a lot of greenery and a cute little fish pond and pergola at the entrance; and staff here are friendly and helpful. I was in BUD for a surgery and stayed here for 8 nights and the staff were so kind that they offered me, for free, the aircon (given the heat wave + my surgery) upon my request…I was so touched by this gesture! They even heated my meals in their microwave when I needed. My room was comfortable, cosy and bright, facing the lush garden and street (bit noisy during the day as the hotel is located between 2 intersections, but evening/nights are very calm) and has the basic amenities one needs for their stay: mini-fridge, Cable TV, Safety box, hair dryer and soap gel. The housekeeping staff are so nice and caring as well. Breakfast is very satisfying and fresh! I highly recommend Beatrix Pension-Hotel as it provides the necessary comfort of a home! The hotel is located in a beautiful, quiet woodland area of Budapest. The staff was very friendly and helpful, our room was tidy, clean and comfortable - especially the bathroom which is always a crucial point in a hotel room. It may seem a bit far from the city center but it the nearest bus stop is closer than it looks. It's a huge plus that free wi-fi and breakfast are included in the price (just as free parking). The only downside is that you cannot pay with credit card, so prepare with enough cash.

This is a very small, yet comfortable hotel located in a quiet green neighborhood. It provides good value for the money. Breakfast is excellent. There is a good grocery store across the street, and a shopping mall at about ten minute walking distance. Good location if you come visiting by car and want to explore Budapest on feet.|Couple of opportunities for improvement: replace small heavy blankets with a larger one, offer an empty working fridge as an alternative to the minibar (insulting prices when you have a good store 40 meters away). And stock up more bus tickets:-)

I really enjoyed my stay at Beatrix Hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly including the must visit places around Budapest and other personal things I needed to get done while travelling. The room was a really good size and while the decor was dated, my room was pristine. Breakfast was included in the cost and anything perishable you wanted kept they would look after safely for me. There is a small supermarket just 2 mins walk from here and the tram and bus is close by as well.
