BEATUS Wellness- & Spa-Hotel

We had a wonderful time at your hotel. The beds were very comfortable and the room was nicely decorated. Our family loved swimming in the heated pool and the cool lake. The staff was amazing. Sibylle at the front desk was extremely helpful in us planning our hiking and paragliding activities. Maria in the restaurant was amazing. The food was delicious and we looked forward to our delicious dinners each night. Amazing hotel! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay at your hotel!

Our stay was great, the location was perfect on the lake. The hikes arranged by hotel was great. However some of the amenities were not usable for us. For example, the Sauna we couldn't use it because there was a requirement for the people to be completely nude. we asked the guy if we can get a different session for 4 people, he said he will check but nothing happened. Sauna was a big attraction for us but it turned out to be a disappointment. Secondly for the Aqua gym when ever we went there were no instructors to guide us . So we couldn't enjoy that. Also we had two rooms, one room was great , other one had some kind of smell.

Amazing lakeside resort and hotel — food was included and very nice gym and sauna. Generally a much older clientele given the price point. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was incredibly fast and efficient, and all staff members were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort and excellent hospitality!

Loved the Solbad here, there's also hammocks on the lawn for the guests as well as loungers to relax. The directors are extremely friendly and will take some time to talk to you. We stayed for 3 days, this was the most expensive 5-star hotel we've ever stayed at, but the dinners were well worth the half board price, with a huge variety of cheeses, breads and salads as accompaniments to the 4 course plated meals. The facilities are top notch, would recommend the Bamboo Sauna with three phases, the locker rooms are clean and well equipped with hair dryers. They also always give you food! The room is restocked with fresh fruit every day, there's complimentary soups and salads, and also warm tea trolleys in every corridor. Basically you'd never be hungry. The breakfast is also large and hearty, with some of the best coffee in Switzerland. The one critique would be some of the younger front desk staff are a little bit intimidating. All the other staff did their best to make us feel welcome, and even excused our turning up in flip flops to the plated dinner the first time!

Visited the spa here, did not meet expectations. Nice views to the lake and the sauna was pleasant (the Finnish one was the best, of course). However, we were disappointed to the pricing as towel and slippers were not included and had to be paid separately: The cost was inappropriate ~+20% of the visit. Like going for 50€ dinner but need to pay 10€ for a fork and a napkin. Sauna also not included in the price.

It was a good experience and here are the conclusions I can draw about the Beatus Hotel! ||The advantages:|+ the outdoor pool was perfectly clean and very warm (+32-35C)|+ the entire spa and wellness area was very comfortable. |+ breakfasts were incredibly tasty and varied, really nice cappuccino, prosecco, fresh juices, large selection of Swiss cheeses. Many thanks to the cooks who prepared porridge separately for our daughter.|+ the five-course dinners were truly luxurious|+ high level and attentiveness of the staff at the reception and the director Sebastian Moser, who made sure that everything went smoothly during our stay|+ in the Tower Suite and Schilthorn room there is a great lake view|+ in the Tower Suite there are a private hammam in the shower, a lot of various household little things, Nespresso coffee machine, music system, a satisfactory hair dryer||The disadvantages and comments:|– in the whirlpool in Tower Suite the hydromassage function did not work, we really wanted to turn on the bubbles while bathing our daughters, but this was not possible.|– in the Tower Suite the air conditioner doesn't work well, I get very stuffy at night, although we set the air conditioner to the lowest temperature and high power|– ventilation in rooms: in the standard Schilthorn and Niederhorn rooms there isn’t air conditioning, ventilation was poor. We asked for a portable fan, it helped a little but didn't fix the problem.|– in the standard rooms we are missing a kettle in the room, especially to prepare baby formula or porridge.|– not a single room, not even the Tower Suite, had hair conditioner. It would be very useful for those with long hair.|– on the birthday, we spent two hours at dinner in a restaurant, eating starters, main dishes and even desserts. And only when we finished and went to the door, the employee brought out a piece of birthday cake. We asked for the cake to be sent to our room, but no one brought it|– free of charge herbal teas and coffee are available in the morning only (till 11 a.m.). I would certainly like to be able to drink free herbal teas throughout the day, at least in the sauna area, where it is especially pleasant.|– for me it would be better if drinking water during lunch and dinner was initially included in the full board price. So as not to bother the guest once again with signing receipts||I would be happy to visit the Beatus hotel again in winter, I hope my comments will be taken constructively

This hotel is perfectly situated on the shores of Lake Thun with beautiful views over to Spiez and the Niesen mountain. For me it’s the right size hotel - not too big but not too small. |The rooms and suites are very comfortable and the wellness area and gardens are lovely. |The food is excellent! But the dining room tables are set too close together which means you can’t speak much in private. |All the staff are very warm and friendly but still professional. |Thank you Team Beatus - we always enjoy our stay with you and we hope to be back soon!
