Amazing luxurious stay. I find the price reasonable for what we got, although we are off-peak so maybe that's why. Staff were extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. The gym and steam room are great, perfect for a relaxing weekend. The breakfast was amazing too. The only small detail I noticed, and this is the Foodie in me jumping out, is that not all tables had salt/pepper/sugar during breakfast. Not a deal-breaker but the kind of details you would expect from an incredible place.

We went to have a meal at the bar, and I ordered fish and chips. I was quite disappointed—a 5-star hotel served me frozen fish and chips that were overly fried. I won’t choose that again, as it’s not worth the price.

Pros: Ideal lakeside location with breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and city. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, ranging from doormen to receptionists, housekeepers, and restaurant waiters. Well-appointed gym facilities. Spacious and well-appointed rooms ensuring a comfortable stay. High-quality bed sheets ensuring a good night's sleep. Thoughtful touches such as welcome drinks at reception and complimentary fruits and chocolates in the room. Attentive service throughout the stay, with special commendation to Marisa at reception. Cons: Lack of a spa on the premises, although therapists can be arranged for massages through the reception.

Fabulous place, fabulous location on the lake, attentive staff, good food, Spacious rooms with views, wonderful bar area with views and awesome massage. What more can you ask for?

Lovely hotel in a great location, but some details were missing to make it 5-star. Milk was missing for coffee, no wifi code or information was provided upon check-in. Breakfast buffet was worthy a 3-star, but certainly not 5-star. It’s sufficient, but we are used to better.

What a delightful hotel, in a great location overlooking the lake.||Neuchatel is a lovely town which is compact and easily walkable, and the tram stop (Place Pury) next door to the hotel makes it extremely easy to explore further afield.||Hotel staff all very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is first class.||A very enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the hotel is in a great location, and the room was beautiful. It’s at the border of the lake and close to the city centre :)

I have stayed here several times. It's certainly the best location and highest overall quality hotel in town. It's very pricey and you still have to pay for breakfast. Which I have never had as I easily walk across the street for morning walks and grab something small, eat less, and pay less, while getting some fresh air. The hotel staff are all very professional and helpful. The rooms are decorated in more classic styles and the lighting in bathrooms are excellent. The amenities are adequate, you also get your bedding turned in the evening and more or less feel you are pampered! I loved my lakeside view room back in the last summer. Bigger room as well as the one I just had last week.

Excellent hotel. I had a room overlooking the lake, while the windows are quite small this hotel has old world charm in spades. The included breakfast is just what is needed to start your work day, although the 'scrambled' eggs could have been done a bit more, which is to my liking. I also had a couple of beers in the bar and dinner one night. The food in the restaurant was excellent and service was also exceptional. The hot foie gras appetizer rivals others I have had in Paris, the white truffle risotto special was truly the best thing I have tasted in many trips to Europe and the several mini-tastes of appetizers and chocolates for dessert, which were included in the meal where all quite delicious.

Fabulous hotel. Great food and bar. In the heart of the city with a beautiful waterfront. Staff was friendly. Room was a nice size and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom is amazing.
