Beau-Rivage Neuchâtel

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful and enchanting hotel. The room was comfortable and spacious, equipped with all the amenities one would expect from a five-star establishment. The staff were both professional and courteous. The restaurant was excellent, and the dinner simply superb. Entirely in keeping with the standards one expects of a five-star hotel.

Lovely lakeside hotel. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent breakfast selection and quality. We didn't dine or drink there, a tad expensive, but probably should have tried it. Our room and bathroom was very spacious with a pleasant view across the gardens and lake.

I had a terrible experience in their snackbar terrace ||I am a Muslim hijabi lady and I ordered a mojito. ||The waiter served me an alcoholic mojito saying I hadn't precised. ||I had 2 sips and started feeling extremely dizzy. ||I spoke to the manager and he didn't charge me for the drink but the waiter had a happy smug on his face.||I was surprised that he wasn't bothered and he had no cultural or religious values of the customers. ||In whatever industry we work we learn our clients religious and cultural values but this man was absolutely without any values and his manager was supportive and in fact threatened me that he would give my feedback an awful reply. ||My request was a written apology.

Excellent customer service, friendly and attentive. Good menu and very reasonably priced for the quality and location of this Hotel / Restaurant, also has a very nice terrace with nice views of the lake and weather permitting. Would recommend

I spoke to the manager and he didn't charge me for the drink but the waiter had a happy smug on his face. It's not about not charging a drink it's about customer satisfaction and values in our jobs that matters. I was surprised that he wasn't bothered and he had no cultural or religious values of the customers. In whatever industry we work we learn our clients religious and cultural values but this man was absolutely without any values and his manager was supportive and in fact threatened me that he would give my feedback an awful reply and much more. I fell down 5 minutes after leaving the premises dua to my dizziness and people around me helped me up. My request was a written apology.

really nice location and service, the bed is very comfortable, only there were some noise in the morning, general speaking, it was a good experience

Amazing luxurious stay. I find the price reasonable for what we got, although we are off-peak so maybe that's why. Staff were extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. The gym and steam room are great, perfect for a relaxing weekend. The breakfast was amazing too. The only small detail I noticed, and this is the Foodie in me jumping out, is that not all tables had salt/pepper/sugar during breakfast. Not a deal-breaker but the kind of details you would expect from an incredible place.

I have just had the most amazing stay and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The location is picturesque, the rooms are spacious, the bed superb, and the bathrooms luxurious. But what really sets this hotel apart are the staff - they go above and beyond to make your stay a delight!||One night they called all over town to get me into a busy restaurant because I had (shortsightedly) not made a reservation anywhere. Another day, I was unsuccessful in my hunt for French onion soup, and they asked the chef to prepare it, especially for me! ||I’d particularly like to thank Sarah, Nelson, Sébastien, and Imrân for making my weekend so relaxing. ||I have already booked my next stay and cannot wait to return!

I have stayed here several times. It's certainly the best location and highest overall quality hotel in town. It's very pricey and you still have to pay for breakfast. Which I have never had as I easily walk across the street for morning walks and grab something small, eat less, and pay less, while getting some fresh air. The hotel staff are all very professional and helpful. The rooms are decorated in more classic styles and the lighting in bathrooms are excellent. The amenities are adequate, you also get your bedding turned in the evening and more or less feel you are pampered! I loved my lakeside view room back in the last summer. Bigger room as well as the one I just had last week.

Excellent hotel. I had a room overlooking the lake, while the windows are quite small this hotel has old world charm in spades. The included breakfast is just what is needed to start your work day, although the 'scrambled' eggs could have been done a bit more, which is to my liking. I also had a couple of beers in the bar and dinner one night. The food in the restaurant was excellent and service was also exceptional. The hot foie gras appetizer rivals others I have had in Paris, the white truffle risotto special was truly the best thing I have tasted in many trips to Europe and the several mini-tastes of appetizers and chocolates for dessert, which were included in the meal where all quite delicious.

Fabulous hotel. Great food and bar. In the heart of the city with a beautiful waterfront. Staff was friendly. Room was a nice size and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom is amazing.
