One of the best Italian restaurants we’ve had the pleasure of eating at! Perfect pizza crust. Everything we ordered was so yummy but if I had to rate it, the best one was the Grilled king prawns served with lemon risotto So worth the splurge! Highly recommend it!

A delicious dinner after a full day of traveling! The tagliatelle with porcinis and sausage, the risotto, and the fillet of beef were enjoyed by our group. Servers were very friendly, and the location along the river is ideal.

I accidentally discovered this restaurant through google maps, and I don't regret it for a second! By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food is outstanding, pizza with the thinnest and crunchiest dough, full of quality cheese, tomato sauce perfect, lasagna baked in the oven with a lot of cheese, tiramisu superb, burrata outstanding, everything in place! In addition to all this, the staff is superb, I have never seen this approach to guests before. They know their regular guests by name, they know the orders, they answer everyone politely and ask the guests if everything is okay several times, and you can see that they do it sincerely, not foiled because they have to. Great experience and I look forward to coming back from Serbia here again!

I was there for lunch on a Sunday. The pizza was delicious! The dough was well cooked and the sauce was simply delicious 😊 I can say for sure that here you can have truly Italian cousine. The waiters were nice and kind. The place is very nicely decorated and it is in general very pleasant. Being the weekend there were a few birthdays being celebrated, but it was not a bother at all. The prices are also very fair for Switzerland. An unexpected gem in Thun! Highly recommend.

Definitely beautiful and on the river. They filet your fish masterfully right at the table. Very cool! The antipasto misto Italiano had an amazing variety of seafood (the squid was perfect), along with cheese, tomato, artichokes, ... Hope you're there on a nice day so you can sit outside in the sun, or under the shade cover.

Food: Definitely get the rack of lamb, yhe perfect cook of the meat along with yhe garlic butter sauce is to die for. Their risotto is good but a little hard for my preference and as always, pizza is phenomenal. However for desserts, they aren't as impactful as their mains. Service: The servers are always nice but it may be quite hard to get their attention at times because they are busy running all over the place. Atmosphere: Very nice and cosy.

Rally nice quaint restaurant. We arrived in the evening without reservations, but we were seated immediately. We ordered a salad and a pizza. The service was great. The food was good as well. The atmosphere seemed really nice. Since we are visiting from out of the country, we obviously had people stare at us, but, it was OK. Definitely a nice place to visit if you're in town.

Fabulous Italian restaurant! We didn't have a reservation but the host told us he would squeeze us in if we came back in 30 min. Such a fun and lively place. Food and service were fantastic!

Overlooking the banks of the river, Ristorante Beau Rivage is situated in the heart of Thun. The clientele consisted of locals, something that serves as a dead giveaway as a great spot! My friend and I both started off with an aperol spritz and an order of the bruschetta. The baguette was perfectly crisp, the tomatoes took on a sweet and delicious role, and finally the olive oil packed on a rich and robust flavor - absolutely amazing. For my meal, I ordered the pasta with a citrus cream sauce. The dish tasted fresh and unlike anything I've ever had before. This was a meal that you think would only be found in the heart of Italy! If you're looking for a great restaurant in an even better location, give this place a try!

The most amazing restaurant in all of THUN. THE BEST ITALIAN I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE & THAT INCLUDES MY TRAVELS AROUND ITALY. Everything here screams perfection! The service is five stars and the food is 10. To give you an insight into how good this place is we ate here twice in the day and a half we were in Thun. Once for dinner and the second for Lunch. They were both outstanding. The PASTAS AND BURRATA IS TO DIE FOR. The pizzas are good but not the best I've ever had, but still really good. Black truffle cheese sauce is insane. The steak was packed with flavor. All the deserts here are really good. I had the panna cotta and, loved it! I switched out the wild berry sauce for chocolate and it was just ughh so good! Wine is poured in front of you and all the bottled water you order is imported ($5 small bottle $10 large bottle.) I am literally wanting to go back and eat as I write this. You must try the burrata if you go. It was so good I took one to go. Trust me when I say that it is an unforgettable experience. The decor in the restaurant is also gorgeous! TIP THE WAITERS THEY WORK HARD!

Restaurants are busy for a reason. Superb food and great service. Definitely a good place to eat when you visit this lovely town.
