Beau Vallon Beach

It's one of the most famous beaches on Mahé island, making it a must-visit if you are in the area. My wife, kids and I liked this beach and enjoyed it swimming and sunbathing. Especially on a clear sunny day when the water hue is bright turquoise, reminding of the Caribbean Sea. Not so crowded and clear of boats. We walked across the whole beach and the best part was in front of the Savoy hotel, where we stayed.

One of the most popular beaches of Mahé. It is bigger than other beaches. Water is so clear and bluish green. We enjoyed the sunset here too. The scene is breathtaking where the green mountain meets the sea and sunset on the back ground. There are lots of bars and souvenirs shops here. Some independent vendors selling fruits and veggies. Diving and snorkeling agencies are also available here. Unfortunately the sea was rough and they were not doing anything that day due to safety reasons for their divers. We parked next to the Tattoo and piercing shop. I wouldn’t say plenty of parking but it is still available and free.

It's one of the biggest and nicest beaches on the island, definitely the main beach. It’s touristy, but not crowded, and the attached little boulevard walk and the 'bazaar' make it a great spot for souvenir shopping. There are also plenty of restaurants and bars around the beach. A must-visit of course!

This beach is absolutely breathtaking. Beautiful blue water with view of the hills, perfect for walks, beach sports. This was the first beach we visited after reaching Seychelles and we were awestruck to say the least. It was a sunny day and the ocean blew our mind. The sunset looks magical. The whole country is no less than paradise.

Overall, a wonderful experience! This spot is perfect for watching the sunset — the view is truly breathtaking. There are several beach bars and restaurants nearby, making it easy to grab a drink or enjoy a meal with the ocean breeze. If you're lucky, you might encounter the friendly fruit vendor; she lets you take a photo with a fruit bat if you make a purchase. As the afternoon fades, the sky fills with flying bats. I even spotted a few rays gliding near the shoreline — a magical moment that made the visit even more memorable. The sand on this beach it's not so white and soft as I've experience on the others, but still worth visiting!

By far the worst beach on Mahé! The ocean has washed ashore everything the fishermen cleaned out—an extremely unpleasant sight. I couldn’t even bring myself to take photos of what I saw; it was that disgusting. Not worth wasting time here—any other choice is a better one than this. 2 stars only because the water has deep sand with no rocks, and because there are plenty of places near the beach where you can sit, have a drink, and eat something.

Very beautiful Beach and probably the best beach in whole of Seychelles, we have been to praslin and la digue and I can assure you we had so fun over here. Best for swimming, no seaweeds on the beach and Sunset is the best on this beach, everyday you get to see different type of sunset.
