After dinner walk saw a line here so we joined them to get homemade ice cream. Biggest decision what flavor and cup or cone. Just know with this being homemade it doesn’t have all the preservatives in it so it will melt faster than store bought, so if you choose cone, no worries they have napkins and there’s a public bathroom next door to wash your hands. Definitely was worth stopping and standing in line

These people in these reviews are not smart. This place is magnificent, and you sound very ignorant complaining about melted ice cream and coming during the last 10 minutes is crazy. SHAME. Anyways, we enjoyed😊

This is hands down the best ice cream shop I’ve ever been to! We are locals and come probably twice a week! The service is always amazing and the ice cream it the best I’ve ever had! The employees are always so friendly and always make sure to provide a great experience! The also provide great advice on the flavors and sizes! The place is small but darling! The bad reviews on here are absolutely nothing but a rare occasion because this is the best place and I can’t recommend it more!

The absolute best banana pudding ice cream I've ever had, hands down!! Highly recommend coming here. The prices were reasonable, the service was quick, and it was our favorite ice cream while on vacation. We'll definitely be coming back here again!

Great ice cream shop on the Beaufort waterfront! They make their ice cream themselves, and you can taste the quality! Often, they have a great selection of flavors but can run out when there is high demand. You will probably have to wait in line as well, but it's definitely worth it! If you are looking for a unique ice cream experience, head their way!!

As a person with Celiac, I was ecstatic when I saw they had a gluten free cone. I haven't been had an ice cream cone in years! The butter pecan was GF, and it was delicious with the cone. It was near closing time and very busy and warm inside. They were out of most of their flavors, but what we got was excellent! Being able to actually have an ice cream cone made it worth it!

6/18/2025 Ice cream was so good and had a creamy texture. It was a very hot day out and the two young employees working were very accommodating offering a cup and a spoon with my cone, (they knew I was going to make a mess! lol). It is a very tiny space, so make sure when you wait in line to filter in slowly and not cramp inside the space because it did get rather hot in there due to all the body heat! Thank you for a lovely experience! We will be returning 😊 Side note, some of these reviews are ridiculous! I mean don’t leave a review about the littlest things, being closed or there was a line and they ran out. It sounds like some of these people are bored and have nothing better to do but trample small businesses!

Beaufort Creamery has delicious ice cream! The interior of the shop is small, and tonight there was a long line outside along the walkway. A hardworking girl was operating the entire shop by herself - this created a very hectic environment for everyone. The ice cream was also kind of soft - some customers didn’t keep the door closed like the sign requests. It’d be great if the owner could provide two team members per shift. Hopefully this amazing girl gets a bonus for her work tonight!

The ice cream was good! Very creamy, very flavorful. The folks working gave great portion sizes and even though we ordered cones, gave us cups because they knew we would need them. It is small inside the creamery, but it is a well in, so it was to be expected. There is enough room for ordering and to check out the selection. I didn't feel rushed or cramped. Had a nice time getting the ice cream and walking around outside.

Beaufort Creamery offers locally made ice cream in Downtown Beaufort. They make milkshakes and sundaes too. There are about 24 flavors to chose from and you can combine flavors when you order. I liked that they offered samples as what I thought I'd like I didn't. So this way I ended up with a flavor I'd love. I went with the Reese's after sampling that as I love chocolate and peanut butter. It was so very good. Service was friendly and patient while I decided what to order. The shop is small and doesn't have any seating inside or outside but there are benches on the boardwalk to enjoy your ice cream.

My daughter and I both got a small scoop of Lavender and honey. Extremely rich- I could not eat the whole thing. Although I enjoyed it very much, I don't have a gall bladder and I know my limits. We both agreed it was excellent they don't have any seating, but they are about a block from a pretty park Plaza with some benches.

Great location, a nice stop while walking around Beaufort to grab a refreshing treat. Friendly counter staff and several options to indulge yourself on a hot summer day - enjoy it, it is summer memories made better by good ice cream.. Sprinkles are FREE

I ordered a scoop of the specialty Cookie Monster and a scoop of Reese's pb and wowzer! The Reese's was potentially the best pb ice cream I've ever had. This was sooooo worth the wait (the line moves fast), and the little shop was adorable.

Got one of their $2 homemade ice pops. Tasted like it was made with real strawberries.

This ice cream is the best home made dipped ice cream you can find! I typically don't love natural/homemade dipped ice cream because it has subtle flavors with a big punch of cream, but this was not the case with Beaufort Creamery. The flavors were incredible and the ice cream was still plenty creamy. In fact, it is so creamy, it begins to melt as soon as you walk outside (because it does not have stabilizers... a pro for me!), so maybe ask for a cup with your cone and extra napkins! I tried the chocolate and Oreo and both were amazing; not too sweet and perfectly balanced. Grab your ice cream and enjoy while overlooking the water and Carrot Island (you may even see some horses!)

I did love it here. I tried the banana pudding and butter pecan ice creams, and I found each of them to be very well made and fresh. I'm not sure it's really "top 10 in the US" level special. But there's absolutely nothing wrong with this ice cream at all.

Definitely a can't go wrong with this spot. I had the Cherry chocolate chip and for the life of me can't remember the other flavor. It had been a long day. Either way this desert hit the spot, and if the rest of the flavors are as good as the ones I had you will be happy with what you get.

This is the best ice cream place in the area? How?! Limited selection of flavors, no DF ice cream, and the taste- so mediocre. I was shocked so many people recommended it.

Always love taking our kiddos for some yummy ice cream. Service is always great and even during the winter months we just love to visit frequently.

Ice cream, it's hard to believe that banana pudding, egg nog and honey can be made into delicious ice cream flavors, but they can be! We had a wonderful dinner at Queen Anne's Revenge next door and walked over, the lovely lady working, let us try some flavors before deciding. Even though it was cold outside the ice cream was worth it!

Fantastic! All three of the boys (Dad included) loved their ice cream. The kid behind the counter was cool too. He was asking them about their favorite StarWars movie, since one kid had a StarWars shirt on. He was very interactive and they loved it.

Tiny little ice cream shop on Front Street in Beaufort, NC. Flavor offerings are simple and standard for the most part. Exceptions were their Honey ice cream... unique and fun but I fill it would be impossible to eat a whole scoop. Staff was friendly and courteous.

Great local ice cream shop! A good selection of ice cream flavors to pick from. Chai oreo, cinnamon toast crunch, banana pudding and so many more! The staff were friendly and service was quick. This is an extremely convenient location in downtown right by the board walk.

We've been to Beaufort a bunch of times but this was the first time we came to the Beaufort Creamery. It was so good we went 2 nights in a row. I got the strawberry both times and my husband got the banana pudding. My MIL makes a banana pudding dessert and this ice cream tasted just like it!

Cute little place that has several options of ice cream flavors to chose from. Friends and I stopped in on Thursday afternoon 4/21/2022 and there wasn't too much of a wait. The young lady that helped us was friendly and provided great customer service. Ice cream was delicious! I would definitely come back next time we are in the area!

Delicious. Creamy. Locally-made. Good sized scoops. Much better than Baskin Robbins and Maola ice cream. Just saying.

Delicious ice cream. We picked the Chai and Honey flavors. Both creamy and subtle. Loved Gluten-free was noted on some and there was even a GF cone option! Hit the spot on a hot day.

Under staffed and tiny, be prepared to wait 20+ minutes to get service. The ambiance is nice though.

Good ice cream, not overly unique. The shop space is tiny and not handicap accessible. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again, but would go if I wanted ice cream and was in Beaufort.

This place is amazing! Everything is homemade and so much better than any local ice cream joint. Cute inside with no seating but that's fine because there's plenty of boardwalk to enjoy your ice cream song and the staff is wonderful. They're also following masking protocols and local ordinances which is so nice to see. if you don't have a mask, the owner has a box for you right by the door! Check this place out it's wonderful!

Decent ice cream, chocolate was kind of lacking in flavor and really pale. $0.75 up charge for a waffle cone. A mask is required even though there's no government mandate currently, so if you are bothered by that, might want to pick somewhere else. The portion of the 2 scoop cone was very good.
