Beaumont Hotel & Spa

"Built in 1886 at the height of the Gold Rush, this mountain-town hotel, whose guests have included Theodore Roosevelt and Herbert Hoover, was one of the first to have electricity. The French Gothic building with a skylit atrium has "great ambience and a perfect location" near shopping and hot springs. All 12 rooms are individually furnished and decorated with antiques and restorations of original hotel furnishings. Ouray Ore House Bar & Grille has a mining theme and serves steaks, seafood, and sandwiches. Enjoy a nightcap at the wine and martini bar Luella’s Lounge, which was named after a local lady of the night."

The Beaumont is the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into a more elegant time — without sacrificing modern comfort. The rooms were spotless, the building is beautifully restored, and the location in Ouray is unbeatable. The staff was incredible — thoughtful, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Eliot (the front desk attendant) himself carried our bags and made sure there was a mint on my pillow. Either way, the service was next level. Can’t wait for the next stay.

Our experience at the Beaumont Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The exquisite restoration of this historic gem is a testament to the care and craftsmanship poured into every detail—each corner, corridor, and fixture tells a story. Why stay anywhere else when you can immerse yourself in a captivating piece of Ouray’s past? From the moment we arrived, the hospitality from Julie (the concierge) was warm and genuine. The concierge graciously took us on a tour of the hotel, sharing its rich history and allowing us to view several beautifully restored rooms. The entire staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and through coordinated efforts, the staff surprised him with a three-layered cake and festive balloons in our room. It was a thoughtful and memorable touch that made our trip even more special. We absolutely loved our time at the Beaumont and will cherish this experience for years to come.

Spent a long weekend at the Beaumont to celebrate our anniversary and couldn’t have been happier. The hotel is historic and quite charming. We found our suite to be clean, cozy, and quiet. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and offered great suggestions for things to do in the area and places to eat in town.

I LOVE historic hotels! This hotel has been wonderfully restored. We stayed in the Dove Room (#204 I think) and it was wonderful. The hotel is pricey (they only have 13 rooms), but if you love historic hotels this is a great choice. The Roosevelt Tavern is great too; especially, the piano player Richard.

The Beaumont Hotel was absolutely stunning!! We had the best stay here. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was clean and comfortable as well. It had a huge bathroom with a nice soaking tub. The Tavern was a plus and the coffee shop as well. We loved everything about this property and plan on coming back!

The Beaumont hotel is right in the midst of downtown Ouray. Central and walkable to anything in town. It’s a historic hotel. It is beautiful with many restored antiques. You will enjoy your stay.

If you can get a room at the Beaumont, definitely do it! It is super cozy, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom was huge! The Twin Peaks room was fantastic! It is a very convenient location to everything in Ouray!

We recently stayed at The Beaumont Hotel & Spa and were really impressed by how beautiful the hotel looks, lovely character, beautiful setting and overall a very charming place. The room itself was absolutely lovely , great space, very comfortable bed, nice size, and a lovely bathroom too. We were told there was a bar upstairs, so after dinner elsewhere we returned about 7ish to try and find it, only to discover it had already shut early, which was a shame. We then went to Roosevelt’s Tavern instead. The setting itself was lovely. The bar closes at 9pm, which we were warned about prior to our visit. We do think it’s a bit strange for a hotel bar to shut so early, but as the whole town seems to close up quite early too, it’s understandable. The problem was they asked us if we wanted last orders, so we ordered more drinks, but just 10 minutes later we were told we had to leave. We still had drinks left but were basically told we needed to move. The staff pointed us to the main welcome hall and said we could either sit there or take the drinks to our room. Unfortunately, most of the chairs and sofas in the hall had broken springs, making it very uncomfortable, so in the end it just felt like we were being pushed back to our room. We did take our drinks back to the room, but ended up leaving them there and heading out to a local bar instead, we found FullTilt Saloon, which was still open and had a great atmosphere. We ended up enjoying the rest of the evening there instead It’s a beautiful hotel, but after 9pm there’s really no service or hospitality offered at all.

Yelp
I'm a sucker for historic hotels in ghost towns. And I travelled all the way to Ouray just for it! When I learned that this Hotel hosted Teddy Roosevelt, I had to stay just one night. And I am so glad I did. The building has been renovated and is absolutely beautiful. So much tender loving care has been poured into it. I reserved the Presidential Suite and it was grand! I wish I had more time in there. The bed was firm but soft, the bedding was crispy and fluffy. I had the best night sleep in that room. The view and the balcony were so picturesque. I could not wait to open the window and breathe the fresh mountain air while the sun came up. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful, the manager was available for any questions and working on some more restorations. But truly, I think the place is perfect. I am not sure the fireplace worked, and there wasn't any cold water it seemed in the faucet, but we didn't need either. The kitchen could have been stocked a but more, we love to prepare meals at home. Other than that, I just about cried when I had to vacate. Well worth it for the experience.

Yelp
We stayed at this historical hotel because our friends who were traveling with us wanted to try a few historical hotels on our trip to Colorado this one was not one that I would recommend nothing on they web was like it was when we arrive first it is an impressive building and the lobby is very impressive check in time is 4 PM and checkout time is 11 AM that gives 19 hours once you start going to the rooms that's where the problem starts we had the Hoover room They called it a suite it was by no means a suite very bland plain non-exciting maybe an old desk bed was uncomfortable sheets were old looking sheets cover on the bed was non-existing bedspread was what used to cover yourself no outlets on the desk area needed to get an extension cord in order to connect all our iPad and iPhone. the air-conditioning did not work properly when I called they brought me a fan really I'm spending all this money and I get a fan also when we open the small refrigerator they were charging three dollars for water they couldn't give you a bottle of water !! Also for ice You were told to use the ice in the refrigerator freezer. The towels were nice in the bathroom and they had bottles of all the body wash shampoo conditioner and body lotion They had a nightlight in the bathroom which is a good thing since you need to figure out how to get there in the middle of the night without leaving the bathroom light on all night. had a tub with shower attached. that was so high that was hard to climb into and no bars to hold on to not very safe for people of any age ! Then they said that you could pick up a bag to go breakfast the bag to go wasmaybe worth two dollars look at the picture Real with this caliber so they say of this hotel we-would assume even if it was a pick up bag it would have more upscale muffins bars and a piece of fruit. cost in this historical property hotel in this small town was very expensive. !!!did hear this hotel is for sale I hope the new owner does more for it because this is not a place for anyone to spend this kind of money to stay.

Yelp
I was worried about staying in an old historical hotel but this hotel was really beautiful and i really enjoyed my stay. Not only is Ouray a great location for adventure but this hotel has a lot of charm from its grand staircase to the design of its rooms it really makes you feel like you're travelling back in time. The people who worked there were also extremely nice and helpful with everything. Probably the most friendly of all the hotels i stayed at this trip. I was worried about historic hotels potentially not having AC or having uncomfortable beds or being able to hear through paper thin walls but NONE of this was the case. Very comfy bed, ac worked great and couldnt hear anything outside my room. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend others do the same.

Yelp
After six months of confinement in our houston home, we needed to escape. We wanted a quiet place nestled in scenic natural beauty. We looked at the USA map and two minutes later we agreed that we should return to the Beaumont Hotel in Ouray, Colorado. So we did. A wonderful three night stay in this grand hotel. It is a beautifully restored gem that is a great escape into comfortable quiet. We never heard another guest or tge staff during our stay. Oh how such silence is a treasure when you live in the center of a bustling metropolitan city. Our room was perfect. A great king size bed, a spacious bathroom and amenities that fulfilled our needs and desires. What makes the hotel very special are the folks that make the Beaumont your home during the stay. Whether it's Carla, Shannon and one other whose name escapes me - so sorry- at the front desk helping you plan your day, making reservations for you or just making you feel welcomed....or....it's Lisa and Tammy in the spa that will rejuvenate your weary bones with a great massage...everyone was wonderful. The Beaumont is the pearl of Ouray. It sits proudly on the corner and is flanked with Oursy's charming historic storefronts of Main Street. It's a great town...friendly...close to outdoor adventure as well as a nice meal and a glass of wine. So if you're tooling down one of the most beautiful drives in the nation stop in Ouray and when you do - make the Beaumont home and a great memory. This was our third stays. We will return. Thank you everyone

Yelp
This is a great hotel. The ambiance is amazing, the only member of the staff we met was obviously born to do this job! I wish I remembered her name but she went out of her way to help with anything and everything every time we saw her. The rooms are what you would expect from an historic hotel, but with modern heating, tv, fridge, microwave etc. I highly recommend this place. Also, owners, we were here March 12th and 13th, so please find out who was working the front desk those days and give her a fat raise and our gratitude.

Yelp
Stop looking now! Stay at the Beaumont hotel! My wife and I found Beaumont on Hotels.com. The many other 5 star reviews were absolutely right. This hotel is stunning and the service is impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We chose the junior queen suite that has more then ample space! Beautiful Mountain View's from all the windows. Parking was easy as they have their own spots off street for guests. We look forward to the next stay at Beaumont.

Yelp
This is a beautifully restored hotel with an interesting past. It is a quiet place for a romantic getaway. The staff was very accommodating & gave great recommendations. We really enjoyed our time in Ouray & highly recommend the Beaumont!

Yelp
Incredible historic hotel in downtown Ouray that has been refreshed with all the modern amenities. The rooms are super comfortable and they keep with the historic theme. Friendly staff and a great value make for a perfect stay.

Yelp
Beautifully refinished, the Beaumont is the Grand Dame of Ouray! We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which includes 2 bedrooms, a large living room, and a kitchen. Well worth it! Gorgeous and ornately decorated, the suite was an awesome place to see Ouray from. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is an on-site spa, but I did not try it.

Sean C.

Yelp
You would be hard pressed to find a nicer boutique hotel than this one. Beautifully restored and located in one of the most beautiful areas of Colorado. This place is well worth the stay.

David B.

Yelp
This is a one of a kind experience. There are 14 rooms, and each room has it's unique features. I feel confident saying each room shares the same level of luxury. The water was tasty from the sink, the air conditioning was silent, you can open the windows for mountain air and the fit and finish is impeccable. The breakfast was light, and a perfect way to start the day. The Spa was very nicely done and clean. The staffs goal was to make our visit perfect. I see that they have a ballroom and an outdoor patio. This would be a dream come true for a wedding location. We enjoyed the conversations on the Hotel's history, Tyler was a delight. All-in-all, an unforgettable experience, we look forward to a return trip.

Cecilia D.

Yelp
Great service from the hotel staff. Comfortable rooms, great location in town. They have a small but good spa. Vicky and Lori are both great masseuses.

Yelp
This hotel is as good as it gets! We came up for a company holiday party at the Beaumont and had the most wonderful time! The hotel has been restored to all the splendor it had when it was built in the 1880s. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The rooms were nicely decorated and so comfortable. We were lucky and got a room with a huge bathroom, claw-footed tub and separate shower. It was awesome and comfortable. My friend's room was the tower suite, which has a spiral staircase to a sitting room on the second level. The staff did an amazing job on the holiday party. They worked very hard to make sure that we all had a wonderful time. The ballroom and bar on the second level were both beautifully decorated and festive. I want to go back to the Beaumont very soon!

Yelp
People! Stay at the Beaumont! IF it is any more expensive it is worth EVERY Penny! We are so grateful that the owners have taken the risk to maintain and run this beautiful, historic building when it would have been much easy to tear a historic building down and build a chain hotel. Thank you! The rooms are very luxurious, the lobby beyond spectacular and the staff are obviously proud of their jobs and work and it shows in their exceptional service. Reward these efforts with your patronage!

Yelp
Our son got married in Ouray and we (and our whole family) stayed at the Beaumont. We also had the rehearsal dinner in the grand ballroom. If you're the kind of person who appreciates historic hotels, you'll love this one. The rooms are decorated with period furniture and lighting. They tend to be a little dark ... but beautiful. The hotel is immaculate, and quite beautiful. Each room is different. Be aware that kids are not allowed to stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The owners, Jennifer and Chad, are in tune with every detail! Not to mention friendly and warm! I didn't visit the spa, but heard that it's very nice. They have wifi in the hotel, but I had a hard time with it from time to time. Be prepared to disconnect in Ouray, as the cell service is spotty, at best! That's the trade off for being in the beautiful mountains!! The caterer we used was not from the hotel, but the physical room was beautiful and intimate. The history of this hotel is very interesting. I would stay here again if ever in Ouray.

Yelp
This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed. My boyfriend and I had such a great experience here and we look forward to staying at this hotel every time we are in Ouray. Every staff member was helpful beyond belief. We were greeted by Zack who gave us a tour of the hotel and told us all about the hotels history. Our room was gorgeous! We had beautiful complimentary robes and access to the hot tub and Sauna were made by appointment for privacy which we really enjoyed. Complimentary breakfast ends at 9:30. We had such a great time in this lovely hotel and the staff was so amazing. We highly recommend this place to everyone.

Yelp
Got a massage there and the hotel staff went out of their way to help find someone. Elegant hotel way worth the look. Truly amazing!!
google avatar

Brianne C.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous! They've done a great job keeping the past alive in this period decorated hotel. Very clean and comfortable. My husband and I came here for our anniversary. We were in the Presidential Suite which I highly recommend. There were fresh long stem roses, assorted truffles from the local candy shop and of course a bottle of sparkling wine. The spa and staff were also wonderful. It's not very often when I don't have one single complaint but this is one of those times.

Laura P.

Yelp
We loved staying at the Beaumont! The Victorian design was beautiful, and the room was spacious and very comfortable. It's a very romantic spot!

Rick M.

Yelp
We stayed at hotel for three days. The rooms were nice however we found it a bit pricey for the service. No bar and cereal for breakfast. Elevator stuck so we walked to our floor and room cleaner left dirty towels in a pile in our bathroom.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely fell in love with Ouray and the Beaumont Hotel!! Ouray is the working classes Telluride... nothing pretentious or snooty about it. Every single person we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The Beaumont is a GORGEOUS place to stay! Refurbished 1880's hotel done in EXCELLENT taste. The room was extraordinarily comfortable and with well appointed and beautiful fixtures in the bathrooms. They absolutely paid great attention to every detail of the remodeling and the results are fantastic. The customer service is TOP NOTCH!! We were welcomed so nicely and when we asked for ice to be brought to our room, we were told a tip was not necessary and it was their 'pleasure'. The parking is wonderful and the hotel is right on the main strip, easy to find and surrounded by tons of shopping and restaurants. Couldn't have been more pleased with our stay there... almost wish we stayed longer!!

Yelp
We visited this historic hotel for an event reception, the bar was well stocked, the food good, and the staff very helpful. The restored interior lets you feel what living the good life would have been like back in the day. Also check out the nice bookstore attached as well as the bistro, but excellent.
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel and nice staff, but the rooms were overpriced even for what you get and the beds weren't all that comfortable.
google avatar

Reynold K.

Yelp
Our 3 day stay at the Beaumont was very special for a number of reasons: 1. The staff is very supportive and helpful with all the needs as we got settled, planned events, and asked for support during our stay. 2. The historic building has been meticulously restored, and is like living in history, but with modern conveniences. 3. The amenities in the hotel are also top rated: The Spa (we used both the Jacuzzi Tub and massage services) and the Grill had excellent service and food. 4. We stayed in the Dove room, which was a wonderful suite, with excellent period furniture, a very comfortable bed, excellent WiFi, TV, and a great view of mountains and the main street of Ouray. In summary, we really enjoyed our stay!

Casey B.

Yelp
This place is great. The night staff person was awesome and very good at her job this place is very romantic. The problem was the morning staff. Breakfast is suppose to be severed from 7 to 9:30 there was no staff or breakfast the doors where locked and the receptionist had not showed up yet. My wife and I waited tell 7:45. the receptionist showed up but still no breakfast yet. This is a 5 star hotel but service was terrible this morning I had to go eat somewhere else. I was looking forward to eating there because of it's beauty and history

Jeremy W.

Yelp
Awesome place to stay, love the historic feeling, and at good price. The effort that was put into the restoration is second to none. Very quiet and the hotel staff was very helpful. I'll stay here again anytime I'm in Ouray.

Yelp
June 7, 2018. For those staying in the Ouray or Telluride area of Colorado, there just may not be a better place to stay. The quality of the rooms is fantastic. There are just 13 rooms in the hotel. Those who may have a concern about street noise should not worry. Very quiet, so quiet in fact the other guests were not even noticed or heard. This is an adults only hotel since many pieces of furniture are truly antique and wonderfully restored. There is no restaurant in the hotel but the concierge knows everything about the town and made wonderful suggestions. There is a small complementary morning breakfast served next to the lobby. By the way, Jessie, the manager or concierge on arrival is not only very helpful and professional, but he gave the type of service rarely if ever found in the hotel business. I was as impressed with his professionalism as much as I was with the quality of this hotel. I have stayed in "luxury" and expensive hotels all over this great country and must say this hotel and its people clearly equal and exceed those experiences. I rarely give 5 stars but in this instance there is not a doubt in my mind that all five stars were easily earned. This is a hidden and unexpected gem and when you find it, you will be well rewarded.

Yelp
Very impressed with the hotel & friendly staff. Staying in this hotel even for a night is quite an experience. Highly recommend it.

Yelp
This is the most wonderful hotel. Staff are so friendly, and the room was amazing. We plan to make this an annual staycation, as we've totally fallen in love with Ouray and the Beaumont!

Yelp
We came to Ouray for a wedding and had the wedding and reception at the Beaumont. The rooms were fantastic, each unique in its own right. We had the Skylight suite and it was very comfortable. The hotel went through a complete renovation a few years back and it was like walking back in time but with modern amenities. The owners Chad and Jennifer were very hands on and gave us some history about the hotel. You can tell they love the hotel. The spa was elegant and a big shout out to the therapists. Loved our massage sessions. Zachary and all the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely a must stay the next time we are back in Ouray! #beaumonthotel. #ouray #colorado

Yelp
My husband and I just arrived home from our honeymoon at the Beaumont Hotel and we couldn't be happier! We stayed in the tower room and it was beautiful. The hotel is an 1800's gem that accommodates a generous amount of people and is full of pleasant, informative, and genuine staff. The parking is free and conveniently located. It is centrally located and within easy walking distance to all the shops/restaurants. There is no pool feature, the hot tub is $15.00 for 30 minutes (as it is part of the spa). The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comes with lots of towels. There is also no restaurant affiliated with the hotel and most of the restaurants close by 9:00 PM daily. The downfall is, it is pretty pricey. Everything you look at, except for the minimal complimentary breakfast, has a price tag. I understand that because of the area, prices are often multiplied to the max, but I hate walking into a hotel that you are afraid to touch the chocolates they leave by your bed because it may cost you $20. The spa is also ridiculously expensive as well. I would definitely recommend the hotel to any family, friends, and strangers. The people and the history of the building definitely made it an enjoyable experience.

Yelp
I recently planned a romantic getaway to Ouray, as I had heard that it is the most beautiful part of Colorado. Being a native Coloradan, of course I have never been there. I was recommended this hotel by a friend, and what a great recommendation!!! Beautiful hotel, great service by staff that really seemed to love their job and love their hotel and located in a town that cannot be beaten for scenery. The rates were reasonable, and the rooms looked like the pics on the website- for which I was thrilled. There is nothing worse than picking a room based on pics then arriving and the room looks like a Comfort Inn. Truly a great find.

Yelp
This might be an excellent hotel and spa BUT Please Do Not buy a gift certificate from them. My sister in law bought one for us and we asked if we could extend the expiration date for 2 additional days so we could get there and use it. (We live a long ways away.) Not only would they "NOT" extend it for us but they would not allow us to give it to a good friend who was planning on staying in Ouray before the expiration date. We sent them several emails AND I even talked to the Owner. He was amazingly rude and short sighted with his quick NO to our requests. I tried to explain to him that either we or my friend were planning on having dinner there and using their spa. I tried to explain that the profits made from us on the services we would purchase once there would more than pay for the cleaning of the room (for which there were many still available) and that we might have even upgraded our room choice. I tried to explain to him that instead of 3 couples now upset and frustrated with this business he might have 3 couples that became raving fans. But he would not listen to this logic. I really did want to visit this place. We love Ouray but only get there about once every 5 years and with the gift being a surprise the one year we had to use it went very quickly. We love the Weisbaden. Go there instead. Please note that this hotel is under new ownership so many of the positive reviews may be prior to when this couple took over.

Yelp
We stayed here two nights and had a great time. The room was clean and everybody was very friendly. They've done a beautiful job with renovating it, it's like stepping back in time.

Yelp
I have stayed at The Beaumont numerous times and each time is spectacular. Keep track of the rooms you stay in so you can have a different one on your next trip. My goal is to stay in every room. Each room is different so ask when you make your reservation which one they would recommend. Reservations are highly recommended. The hotel does not allow children and that is a HUGE plus. This is a historic building so they cannot allow running through the halls etc. This is a place to spend time with the one you love and be pampered by beautiful rooms and great staff. Have met Jennifer and her husband and they treat everyone like family

Yelp
A Truly Unforgettable Hotel experience. First, the owners, Chad and Jennifer and their hotel staff are some of the finest people we've ever encountered in our world travels. We've stayed at the Adlon in Berlin, the Waldorf Towers in New York, the Savoy in London and have never experienced such a charming elegant hotel. Our room- the Sarah Bernhardt room was so exquisiteness finished. The restaurant was first class- I had the best trout and the wine selection rivals even the Four Seasons in New York. There is every other hotel in the area and then there is the Beaumont- book it if you want to be pampered and delighted in every way.

Lauren B.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I just checked out from staying here over the weekend. We had the best time! Service was superb and the room was a sight to behold. We did a couples message with Linda who did a wonderful job of getting so many knots out, and Zachary did an exceptional job of giving a short tour of the exquisite hotel. We were so lucky to have found this place and the people who work here. Can't wait to plan our next trip to Ouray!

Alyssa A.

Yelp
Great service and clean room. My boyfriend and I loved our experience at the Beaumont. We were in the Roosevelt room and it was really quaint and charming. Would highly recommend.

Yelp
I haven't stayed at the Beaumont, but I've been to the spa several times and LOVED it! I had massages after hiking/climbing and it was a great way to recover!

Robert P.

Yelp
First class hotel all the way! Historic hotel with modern state of the art heating and air, water purifiers and great water pressure in the showers! Very unique piece of history and highly recommend if your in Ouray!

Amanda K.

Yelp
We stayed at the Beaumont this past weekend and had a great time. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous. The hotel was completely rented out for the wedding, which was very nice and something I'd recommend for anyone planning their wedding at this venue. Every staff person was beyond friendly and more than happy to help with any requests or questions we had---they even helped us find silk flower petals so we could decorate the bridal suite. Chad & Jennifer, the owners, really go the extra mile for their guests, and are genuinely invested in making sure weddings are a special experience.

Yelp
This was our first trip to Ouray and had researched for a place to stay. This hotel definetely lived up to it's great reviews! All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We stayed in the Blue Bird room on the 3rd floor, right next to the elevators. We stayed for 2 nights, and we were never bothered by any noise from the elevator at all. Room is decorated beautifully and bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Free breakfast is included and they had juice, coffee, milk, apples, bananas, yogurt, granola, cereal (cold and instant oatmeal), mini muffins, hard boiled eggs, bread, and english muffins. Certainly enough to fill you up before you leave for hiking all day!! Staff came in and visited with all of us each morning and answered any questions that we had about our day. I LOVED walking around this gorgeous hotel and reading about all of the history. This is the 1st time that we had ever stayed at a Victorian hotel, my husband always thought that he wouldn't like it. After visiting and falling in love with this mountain town, we will definitely be back and will only want to stay here!! I hope to try out all of the different rooms to see each one!

Yelp
Good dining experience. Beautiful garden. Very friendly staff. Recommended.

Yelp
Just had a wonderful weekend in Ouray culminating in a wedding at the beautiful Beaumont hotel. We were treated like royalty by all staff, including the VERY hands on owners. Restaurant on site and catering were both delicious and seamless, the building and rooms are gorgeous, and the town is lovely. Would recommend highly for a small town, romantic, and friendly experience.

Rosalind N.

Yelp
Fantastic hotel in every way. Bryan and Morgan at the front desk did everything possible to make our stay perfect and it was perfect. The room was wonderful, the hotel was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated in the period, kept up beautifully, elegant and charming at the same time. Couldn't have been better.

Yelp
Absolutely gorgeous hotel. Stayed here for our wedding anniversary, and it was amazing. Beautifully historic, extremely helpful and friendly staff. If you can stay in the tower suite, one of the nicest rooms I've stayed in throughout the country. Will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
We stayed in the tower suite on the 3rd floor of hotel for 4 nights which is a two story room with a spiral staircase to a loft. First floor of suite has a bath, sitting area, desk, and bed with an lcd tv. Upstairs has an lcd, kitchen sink, mini frig, coffe maker, and microwave. The view on first floor has windows overlooking the cute main street and beautiful snowcapped mountain peaks. The loft has 4 small skylights at the top but no windows to look out at the scenery. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The fact that they do not allow children under 16 or pets ensures a nice, peaceful stay; great for a romantic getaway. They had a standard continental breakfast from which we selected items from a list the night before and in the morning it was setup for us at the hotel restaurant. The antique and historic decor was gorgeous. The staff very causal, friendly, and professional. While the hotel has a spa, the prices were expensive especially considering most hotels have a pool as a standard amenity and money was better spent at the local hot springs; unless you prefer the privacy of the spa. The hotel location on main is convenient to access all the town has to offer within walking distance and the room rates were fair. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family. Our next visit will definitely include a stay at the hotel again.

Yelp
We just happened upon The Beaumont and we are so pleased we did. We were traveling from Denver to California and we intended to stay in Silverton however it took a little longer than we anticipated so we stop in Ouray to check out available Hotels and boy did we get lucky! It is truly unique in every way. The rooms are amazing and the staff is very accommodating. Perfectly situated in the center of this quaint and historic old mining town. The picturesque view and fabulous restaurant just round out a delightful experience. I highly recommend The Beaumont Hotel!

Yelp
Nothing to complain about. I stay in hotels for work year round and have a very high expectation of service and quality. This place blows me away. So impressed by the service and the space! Love the beds and the bathtub!!
