Fully enjoyed our couple of nights stay. It is conveniently situated 10 minute walk from Interlaken West railway station, & some restaurants. Rooms are spacious, comfortable & clean. We had a room facing the back garden, although there is not much of garden to see. From the front the views of the snow covered mountains is beautiful.|Breakfast is satisfactory with plenty of variety even for vegetarians. In the afternoon complimentary tea/coffee & cake is served, which is much appreciated after a tiring day of sightseeing, & this also gives a chance to meet other residents.|This is a family run hotel & Imi the owner who also supports in the reception is most helpful. The reception staff- Bruna, Daisy, Tania, Am|are all pleasant, polite, friendly & helpful. Lastly, I have to also thank John who was always helpful during breakfast & evening tea.|We will certainly stay in this hotel again on our next visit to Interlaken.

I enjoyed my stay here. It is well located, the staff are helpful and the breakfast is decent. Gripes include the pillows being far too flat, you can hear stomping on the roof from the floor above and it’s very noisy with the windows open and stuffy with them closed. Still, a good hotel if you’re on a budget. Lovely view from the hotel.

Best location in Interlaken! John and frontdesk team are gracious hosts. The hotel property is beautifully located, rooms are spacious, clean, linen & bed are most comfortable, breakfast is to die for and we walked everywhere from the hotel. Did I mention the views! Highly recommended.

Last year we went to Switzerland for family vacation and stayed at this hotel ,unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I feel it is important to share this feedback so that no other guest has to go through what my family experienced. During our stay, my son accidentally spilled some water in the room. We immediately called the reception to request housekeeping assistance. Instead of sending a staff member, the receptionist herself came up and began shouting at us, telling us to “teach our child manners.” This was deeply unprofessional and unacceptable. When I contacted the hotel owner to report this behaviour, he not only supported the receptionist but also used foul language and made an inappropriate remark stating that “Indians should teach kids manners.” Such discriminatory and disrespectful comments are shocking and completely unacceptable in the hospitality industry. As guests, we expect to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of nationality. This incident left us feeling humiliated and unwelcome. I hope some serious action should be taken to address this behaviour and ensure proper training for your staff in professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and guest service. Also I would never recommend anybody to stay here..We had a very bad experience Dear Max Please find response to your message Some memories truly last forever — unfortunately, not all of them are good ones. Last night, while discussing a possible Switzerland trip with our child, we were surprised that he did not recall the beautiful moments of our vacation, but instead remembered only one thing: Mom, we will never stay at Beausite Hotel again… that aunty with the glasses was so bad, she shouted at me.” You may not be able to recall this incident, but for us — and especially for our child — it is unforgettable. It left such a strong impression that it overshadows the rest of our trip. For your reference, I am sharing pictures and videos of your hotel to confirm that we are indeed speaking of the same property, and not another. I hope this feedback helps you reflect on how important guest interactions are — especially with families and children — as they can define the entire travel experience. Thanks

The view from our room was breathtaking! We were in such awe that we opened the windows (in March), put on our jackets and watched in amazement at the beauty in front of us. It was also so interesting to watch the parasailors glide across the valley for hours. Daisy at the front desk was amazing and so helpful! The staff really helped us understand the rail system sine we had a 4 train change to our next stop... we didn't get lost 😁 The breakfast had the best selection as well as so organized and the most sanitary buffet we've ever been to. We would definitely return as soon as we can! Thank you 😊

Kitchen staff were rude to us. We wanted to confirm about the allergies, but they didn’t reply first, and then gave a sarcastic reply. Very insensitive. Rest staff was good. Room was also not that good. Space was very limited. And nothing was provided in the room, no water bottles, no slipper, no dental kits, etc, despite the stay here being so heavy on the pocket.

Voucher ID : UJASSWISSDEEPAL Absolutely disgusted with hotels policy and their complete lack of empathy. We had a booking from 19th aug to 25 aug that we were forced to cancel due to an unforeseen and severe medical emergency – my mother's sudden hospitalization. We contacted the hotel as soon as we possibly could, explaining the critical situation and providing note from doctor and hospital letters. Despite a genuine, unavoidable crisis, Hotel flat-out refused to refund/credit note our booking amount . Their rigid, uncaring stance in the face of a family emergency is appalling. It's clear they prioritize profit over basic human decency. This experience has left an incredibly bitter taste. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to think twice. In a time of distress, you want a business to show some understanding, not exploit your misfortune. We will never, ever consider staying at Hotel beausite again, and I will make sure to share this experience widely. While the hotel we booked in zurich (crown plaza) under similar conditions gave us booking refund immediately

Yelp
The whole experience at Hotel Beausite was wonderful. We spent a week in Interlaken and the staff made us feel completely at home. One staff member, John, was a truly delightful person who gave us wonderful suggestions on activities and restaurants, and sprinkled a great bit of conversation on top (in multiple languages to boot!). If you are fortunate enough to book your stay at Hotel Beausite, make sure to tell John hello from a couple of his American friends.

Yelp
Lovely and simple hotel accommodations with a gorgeous view of the Jungfrau. While Beausite close enough to the main strip and the train station, it is also just a bit off the beaten path. InterLaken is prone to large groups of tourists, so it's nice to have a respite from the crowds and the high-traffic touristy places. There is a restaurant onsite, however, I recommend the traditional Swiss restaurant right on the corner as you head towards town. I think we were the only tourists in the joint. Order the horse!

Yelp
The room with view was wonderful. Bedding in Europe is never great at regularly priced hotels, but this was decent. The man serving breakfast made my day because he was friendly (not usually how the Swiss are), but the woman had a near fit when we had to ask for help checking out. I understand because she was not part of the reservation staff. We were checking out at 7 AM to catch a train, but with no one at the counter, we had to call. We still owed city tax, and I tried to say just run the card on file, but the woman on the other end either did not understand or did not want this. She asked that I ask the lady serving breakfast to help and speak with us. This lady was not really directing her anger at us, but in general at the situation. She was late for preparing breakfast. Not her fault, but not ours either. I hated that it happened because so many people on Switzerland seem to despise tourists and/or Americans. Overall, we were pleased with the hotel, view and breakfast. I hope the woman who helped us is okay and not in any trouble.

Yelp
Charming and Cheap! Traveling from America with my boyfriend and looking for a cheap place to stay when we stopped along our road trip in Interlaken. This hotel is lovely, with beautiful views. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. They serve free breakfast and have free wifi. Breakfast includes coffee/tea/juice, fruit, eggs, bacon, assorted meat and cheese, assorted bread and pastries, cereals, jams, and rice and curry dishes. The downsides are; NO A/C! :( we stayed overnight in the summer and it was hard to fall asleep because it was SO hot - the windows do open and it cools down around 3 - 4 am. Also, bathrooms are shared with toilets and showers in corridors. If you are ok walking down a couple flights of stairs and through the hotel in a towel to shower then it is no big deal - just like college. Twin rooms have two twin beds that are not able to be put together. Rooms are also small. And I mean SMALL - they get the job done and are cozy, but you are still paying a good amount of money for it. Still the cheapest night - of reservation we found in Interlaken. Worth the trip!
