Beauty in The Pot 美滋锅 (Jewel Changi Airport)

Thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. The service is excellent. The staff is prompt and attentive. We were surprised that they serve us a cake for our celebration. 🤪😂 We love the soup chosen. Both the collagen and the chicken herbal soup are nice. Ordered a good mix of meat, seafood and some vegetable. We tried to skip the carbs. 💖 All the food is fresh. This is important for hot pot as lousy food can be very obvious.

Would recommend getting the collagen broth and the spicy nourishing pork broth. What stands out would be the spicy broth. It is flavourful with herbal ingredients such as gin sheng. It is not too oily nor spicy, making it drinkable unlike other spicy or mala broths. The beef especially the wagyu were fresh and well marbled. The A4 wagyu was more fatty than the normal Japanese wagyu version. The fish and prawn paste were decent although the time it took for them to help us put into the soup took some time. Adding on to that, service was rather slow and inefficient. Maybe its due to the understaffed situation but anyhow the service definitely could have been better. The condiment section had a lackluster selection, as seen in the picture. Only decent side was the peanut which i had two portions of! The fish was fresh and succulent. However, would recommend not to get the lamb as it is tough snd hard to chew.

Went there with a friend, we ordered the collagen soup and tomato soup. The collagen soup is their signature and it was really good, very thick and creamy, i would say better than hai di lao. Their tomato soup is also very thick and savoury. For meat, we ordered the chicken thigh, pork collar, pork jaw, alaska crab meat, the assorted balls platter, and prawn paste with fish roe. As for vegetables, we ordered cabbage, lettuce, bean curd skin, king oyster mushrooms. We also ordered the brown sugar chewy thing (i forgot what's it called) and for dessert, we had the yuzu shaved ice, vallina ice cream. For drinks, we both ordered the luo han guo. There were also many varieties of sauces, spices etc that u can choose from, and u can mix your own sauce.

The ingredients are pretty fresh. Service standards wise a little lacking. I have to top up my broth myself. The free side dishes were also limited compared to hai di lao. Unfortunately they don't offer complimentary drinking water. The soup is in the salty side and pretty oily The limited period mao tai lala soup was oily but it was much tastier with the mou tai.

Service at this outlet is excellent. we are at this outlet to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I like the idea that they have complimentary dessert as well as cake for birthday celebrations. . Staff at this outlet is friendly and they go the extra mile to make everyone feel welcome and at home!

The service has always been wonderful but I would like to give a special shout out to Mei Mei for her exceptional service especially when I arrive alone with my baby girl. She took the initiative to wipe down the baby chair and table and made sure everything was dry before we settled in. When she noticed my baby perspiring during her nap, she brought out the fan to ensure that we’re comfortable. I’m very thankful for her thoughtful gesture. We look forward to dining here again soon!

hands down our fav hotpot place. we’ve tried alot of other ones but always end up coming back here. absolutely love the broth n the service. the yuzu ice dessert that they always serve at the end of the meal is my fav!!

This is our first try as we have always been a fan of HDL. Somehow I feel the portion was smaller but we did get a 30% discount because it was a Tuesday night and they have ladies night promo, 10% off for each lady! The soup base choices were limited but we did try their famous collagen soup. The appetizer dishes were quite limited too. We may be back if we can't find HDL nearby
