Beauty Point Cottages

Absolutely spectacular, the accomodation is Clean, Comfortable and exceptionally well appointed. The garden and gazebo areas were really nice to cook some food and just take in the surroundings. Very relaxing. The bed was very comfy, The view from the cottage is beautiful and Barberra is an amazing host. Such a lovely little place to stay, Hopefully will be back loved it here,

The cottage has an excellent view with all amenities possible. Catered exceptionally well for gluten free Coeliac. Fresh produce to cook own brekkie. Hosts very welcoming. Take a turn around the garden with Barb and walk to waters edge. Whole experience fabulous

Beauty Point Cottages was one of the loveliest places on our recent stay in Tasmania. Our hosts Barb and Colin were welcoming, the accommodation was superb and finding out that Barb was a patch worker like myself (sewing) and was working on the most gorgeous pieces of silk ribbon embroidery was just the icing on the cake. The food provided was enough for several meals and all in all this glorious setting gets 10 out of 10 from myself and Tony. I hope our hosts can keep providing this for many more years fabulous.

This is a very special place. We stayed in this beautiful property for 3 nights and didn't want to leave. The gardens are stunning and lovingly maintained, and the cabins have the most incredible outlook over the river. But what really makes this place stand out are the hosts Colin and Barbara - beautiful people who are so kind and welcoming, and who would do anything for their guests. From fluffy warmed towels, to bathrobes and generous breakfast provisions this property has everything you could want, plus extra surprises such as home baked treats. Colin and Barbara obviously love this place and get genuine joy from spoiling their guests and sharing this lovely corner of the world with visitors. Highly recommend. We will be back one day for sure!

From the moment you arrive Barbara and Colin are there to welcome you and help you settle in. The gardens are absolutely fantastic it is easy to see they are well cared for and loved. The breakfast provided is fantastic you can decide when you want it as it is provided ready to go. Fresh made bread you tops it off.

Our hosts Colin and Barbara were very friendly and helpful. Laundry and even a car wash were done free of charge. The Chalet was high spec, with all you could want and with a view towards the Tamar ( and a walk through the landscaped property garden to the waterside). Comprehensive breakfast provisions were provided. The location is excellent with dockside Platypus and Seahorse centres at the harbour, Beaconsfield (with the mining museum) and then Low Head and other attractions on the East side of the Tamar only a short drive.

An amazing place to stay, Colin and Barb are the perfect hosts. The cottages have beautiful views of the Tamar River, and are very comfortable. Breakfast provisions were the best I’ve seen provided, and the home cooked treats were delicious!|All in all, a fabulous place to stay

We recently stayed at Beauty Point Cottages and were warmly welcomed by Barb & her partner Colin. Barb was a great host. Explained all features of the room and property, and have us ideas on activities/foodie things to do while down that way! The room was extremely clean, comfortable bed and a lovely spa bath to relax. The room has loads of extras, Barb & Colin have obviously gone to a lot of effort to think about the little things you may forget! We were provided with a delicious breakfast platter and extra breakfast options. (Even had some sneaky fudge and short bread as bonuses) The gardens are beautiful and very close walk to the water where there are bbq facilities and kayaks. We both highly recommend. Thank you again for making our short getaway memorable! :)
