Oh my goodness what an unexpected surprise. We had a pretty good idea when booking what the experience would be like or at least we thought we did!
Our hosts, from the moment of booking, cared about you and your experience. Maria reached out and basically said (but much better), I’m at your service how can I help? Do you need reservations, car rental, etc?
And when we arrived Brian provided an overview of safety, where everything s on the island and based on what you want to experience, places to enjoy.
Throughout the stay everything was provided, everything. And if you forgot something did official to you, there is. Store in town or they may have backup. We forgot our toothpaste thinking it would be provided but I didn’t read the list close enough. Everything is environment conscious but lacking nothing. They have a BBQ (or as a Texan I would call grilling shack), with anything you can imagine short of a branding iron but I bet if you wanted one they would have it for you.
Everything was always clean. Bathrooms never ever dirty; immaculate,
And it’s up to you how engaged you are with other guests but they have a pavilion where most people gathered for a fire, talk, laugh, play games. And on our visit we were lucky enough to see the Aurora come out to play
If you’re heading to Beaver Island skip the hotels and try this out. You won’t be disappointed.
