Beavers Retreat Glamping

What a lovely experiance for a family! The eco dome we stayed in was large and comfortable with all the amenities you expect. The log burner came in handy as it was a little chilly in the evening. Prior to arriving and whilst at the site staff were very informative and on hand for anything you needed, really friendly and welcoming. The location is very good, the train track running next to the site is the only negative but trains are Infrequent so don’t impact too much . The wood fired hot tub was lovely as was the private area each dome has so kids can play and enjoy the outdoors. The site was quite and other glampers respectful of each others surroundings, which made it a very relaxing stay. |Highly recommended a stay! Thank you Beavers Retreat!

Fantastic Escape into nature, tranquil surroundings with beautiful domes! The retreat was silent. We turned our phones off for two days and got back into nature. Star gazed late at night in the hot tub, woke early morning by the sound of birds. Beautiful! Escape we both needed! Would recommend this place to anyone! Close to Tenby and surrounding areas. Perfect location.

Really lovely first time glamping experience. We loved the no electric approach as it can either be a no tech zone or you have the option of the solar sheds to charge your items in lockers. ||Everything you need is provided and I felt very well informed before going. ||Hot tub was clean and easy to work, inside stove dried our clothes well after a wet day and heated the tent to a nice temperature. ||We didn't use the BBQ due to wet weather but the gas cooker did the job. ||Everything was clean and tidy. Showers were hot and worked well. |Toilets and dish washing area were clean and stocked with toilet roll/kitchen cleaning items. ||Close to so many activities and adventures. Loads of free and cheap activities too. ||The only thing I would do different next time is in the wet weather the entrance gets very wet when entering so extra towels are needed for this. ||It does get noisy when windy and wet in the typical Welsh weather but the tent is very sturdy so we felt safe. I managed to sleep in the torrential rain and I'm quite a light sleeper. ||We didn't lock our tent when sleeping or going out for the day and everything was completely safe. Due to the rules in place people are incredibly respectful of each other and the area.||One of the owners/workers Tom was onsite and was very kind and informative on our first night. We just missed him when checking out but he made sure to text.

My family and I had such a wonderful time at Beavers Retreat, disconnecting from technology and enjoying each other’s company, in a well looked after environment. Tom who manages the site was always very helpful and on call to answer our questions.||Nearby there’s lots to do, Alpaca trekking 5 mins away, we also visited Tenby town and harbour, Manorbier beach and Barafundle Bay, which were beautiful.||We stayed in XL Dome 2, it was spacious, clean and had a large hot tub, which was superb! ||We did get few rainy days when we stayed and having a few hooks or a coat rail in our dome to hang up our wet clothes, would have been helpful. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay. Also the toilets are a short walk away, so don’t leave it until your totally desperate to go!

Awesome place! Tom was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Pretty kid friendly, plenty of space for them to run around. Temperatures in the tents vary wildly from day to night so pack for everything!

We stayed at beavers for a couple of nights. We enjoyed every minute of From the moment we arrived until we left. The place was so relaxing for us we decided to stay there every day. Tom was absolutely amazing and making sure we got everything we need. The place was spacious inside and out so kids could run around and play games. We enjoyed the hot tub and the log burner inside too. We will definitely be coming back again in near future.

Simply perfect! An immaculate site with everything you need for glamping ready and waiting when you arrive. Hot tub heated up like a dream and the children loved it. Even has an oven which makes cooking super easy on site. Comfortable and warm Domes with all utensils |Your own private toilet is a bonus and the showers hot and are better than home 🤣|We couldn’t fault it, we will return |Thank you Tom

We stayed here for 2 nights in XL dome 1 we had the best stay was equipped with everything you need for your stay, Tom was very helpful when he arrived on site to check how you have settled in and if you need anything it’s not too much trouble. The only negative for us was the toilet being a bit far from the dome ( just me being lazy ) but it was spotless and allocated toilet to each dome which was lovely to have. Would definitly recommend this place and will definitely be staying again in the future!
