Beck Hall

This is our second stay at Beck Hall. We had a wonderful time. We were pleased to see the same hospitality team as our previous visit a year ago. Everyone was happy and welcoming. It's difficult to describe but Beck Hall ticks every box as a plant based hotel. The food is amazing, it's so nice to be able to look forward to a full menu to chose from. It's such a treat to be able to head down to breakfast and know that you can chooses anything! The creamed tea with scones also is my favourite. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm. We dont have a dog but it's great to see all the dogs in the dining room. It really breaks down barriers where people don't interact in a dining room. Lots of guests greet the dogs and it gets people chatting. This is a very special place. We will be back for another visit and are so grateful to the whole team for making our stay so special.

Where to start!! We were bought a 2 night stay here as a wedding present and have been SO excited to go. It surpassed all expectations! It truly was the best countryside stay we've ever done and really got us in the Christmas spirit, we will cherish those memories forever so thank you to the Beck Hall team for that. The food is unbeatable, to be able to pick anything from the menu is a luxury itself but to execute each and every dish to such a high standard is a huge triumph. I particularly enjoyed the suet chicken pudding and the Christmas sandwich. the whole menu is so well thought out I wouldn't change a thing. Linda was so warm and friendly and greeted us upon arrival making us feel so welcome. All the other staff were also brilliant and again made it feel so special. The rooms are lovely and cosy and clean and it's set in a beautiful village perfectly located for walking. We love what you're doing here and will recommend to all our family and friends. We certainly will be back in the summer months. Thank you so much

What an incredible place. The lady that booked us in was so kind, smiley, helpful and easy to talk to. The waiters were incredibly approachable and friendly too. And the food is just out of this world. What an amazing little gem of a place! We were spoilt for choice and overjoyed to be surrounded by so many beautiful nature walks. 10/10

First time visiting Beck Hall and cannot wait to go back. From the moment we checked in the staff were so welcoming and kind - our dog quickly took a liking to them all! The room was cosy and clean, and the bed was super comfy. We slept very well with only the sound of wildlife outside. The food was an absolute highlight, I especially recommend the breakfast pastries, blue corn tacos small plate, seitan shortrib, and the ice creams - just sensational. Would love to come back to try the Sunday roast, am sure it would be immense. The only improvement I could say is I wish the portions were a little smaller so I could have tried more of the dishes. The scenery nearby was so beautiful! Just a few minutes up the road was a very easy walk to Malham Cove where we took the dog each morning - some cows and sheep around but dogs are fine on leads. Also went a little further to Janet's Foss which was a peaceful little waterfall. We frequently bumped into other people also staying at the hotel and ended up having some lovely chats (so many of the guests are so friendly!). Would strongly recommend Beck Hall and especially the restaurant to absolutely anyone - we can't wait to come back! Thank you to all the staff who made us, our dog, and even the little rescue bird i ended up having to bring with me so very welcome and at home here :)

Me and my partner visited for one night. We’ve been wanting to visit for a long time as we had heard lots of positives about it. We were not disappointed. The staff were super attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable with stunning views. We loved watched all the. It’s dancing along the river from our bed. We walked to Malham Cove from the hotel and had such a nice walk. I would highly recommend staying here. We will be returning for a longer stay next time ♥️

Stunning vegetarian menu loved by all of us (3 meat eaters). No parking unless you're staying but the lovely lady helped us find parking nearby. Great selection of drinks both alcoholic and non. Gorgeous setting.

The ULTIMATE stay|Sublime food, in a relaxed and romantic, atmospheric setting. The owners have created an exceptional experience, with a generous approach everywhere, they have everything right. Wonderful staff, giving perfect service, friendly, efficient and professional. Totally sublime food, with plenty of excellent choice. The savoury suet pudding is spectacularly good and across 3 days, each dish was flawless.|Bliss. It doesn’t get much better than creamy hot chocolate next to a roaring log fire and Booja Booja truffles in our room.|This all made for a terrific stay and perfect for anyone looking for great food in a beautiful place but to have all of this 100% vegan is nothing short of fantastic. NOMO if you’re not vegan and NOMO for those of us who are.|Many guests had their dogs with them, huge floor cushions, treats and water bowls provided. No problems at all, gorgeous dogs on leads and of every size, from Huskies to Dachshunds and they all behaved beautifully. We met and chatted to lovely guests too, all of us appreciating being so well looked after.|This is the first time I’ve ever booked ahead for next year, for any hotel but I unhesitatingly did.|My only suggestion is.. please open a sister hotel and restaurant on the same principles, near the Brecon Beacons, so we can eat there every week in between coming back to Malham!|Thank you for all of this and a special shout out to the brilliant Mabel!

What a fantastic fully plant based hotel which is extremely dog friendly. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the food is outstanding. Park your car in the dedicated car park and leave it there for your stay, numerous walks direct from the hotel, amazing.|With all this said it would not be this fantastic without the wonderful staff, every one of them are so kind and friendly especially with your four legged friends. They always offer a treat and a bed for your dog when you are in the dining room.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights earlier this week, booked through MacsAdventure. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The location is wonderful - in a quiet village, on a large stream with ducks, near walking trails. Our room was nicely sized and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom could have been a larger and a bit cleaner (mold on ceiling above shower). Our room (#5) was directly above the kitchen, and therefore we had extra noise and heat. Even with the chilly temperatures outside and leaving a window open (only 1 of the 2 worked), we got hot at night. The restaurant was very good and we ate several meals there - good breakfast (included with room), good selection, and the passion fruit cheesecake was amazing. The one negative with the restaurant was the curry. The staff was very friendly, probably the friendliest that we've encountered on this trip.

Beck Hall is an unusual B&B and tea rooms in picturesque Malham in the Yorkshire Dales. An old whitewashed building next to a stream, it is reached by crossing over on a clapper bridge made of stone - very narrow and quite precarious but magical. On certain nights you can visit here for an evening meal as we did on a recent holiday in Malham. The interior of Beck Hall is really welcoming - very warm and relaxing. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and the meal we had was very good value being tasty and with generous portions. Unfortunately I was quite ill when we were in Malham but I felt a lot better after my visit to Beck Hall - maybe the food was extra nourishing! I'd like to go back there again, maybe to stay in one of the rooms or to have afternoon tea and sit beside the river on a sunny day.
