Beckett Locke, North Docks

I was disappointed when I received my first room because there was no hot water, especially in January in Ireland, which is a very cold country. I think this is something essential that should be checked before giving the room to a guest. After I reported it at reception, they gave me another room, but I had to move all my things from one floor to another by myself because nobody helped me. In the new room there was hot water, but the kitchen extractor fan did not work. The room is comfortable and has a small kitchen with everything you need. However, the windows do not open and since the extractor does not work, cooking smells stay in the room and on clothes. The location is very good — if you take the Luas, you are in the city centre in about 20 minutes. The aparthotel is new and the decoration is very nice. The staff is kind, although some could be more friendly. The girl working at breakfast was very nice. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. It costs €20 and although there is a lot of food, I am not someone who eats much in the morning. I only wanted something small like a coffee, but she said the full €20 had to be paid anyway. I think this price is fine for people who want a big breakfast, but it is too expensive for those who don’t. I think they should offer the option to pay for individual items. Overall, the hotel and the area are very nice, but some things still need to be improved.

Love this hotel, the location is really good as you can leave the city easily by using M50 tolled tunnel or to the port in early morning. Stayed in a one bed room studio, with a reasonable price. Nice view of the city and great small kitchen facilities. The only missing star is about the hotel water. It took me almost 10 mins to get hot water for shower on the first 2 nights. But the third night is becoming normal. Breakfast session is nice as well. Car park is convenient.

We only stayed for one night but would certainly return. The room appointment was exceptional. Bed and linens were great, completely dark with thoughtful touches (like a magnet to cover up digital lights!) We slept so well. Shower was lovely. Amazing how everything was fit in without feeling crowded. Easy transit to the center directly outside. Also easy access to the Dublin Express stop to and from the airport. Helpful staff. Great lobby with excellent coffee!

We spent 8 nights at the hotel and it was a really nice stay. The room was big enough for two and we liked the fact we had a kitchenette. Service was great and staff responsive. Just next to the tram station, 25 min walk to the city center. I got good rates so I can only recommend !

The design of the hotel and apartments, the location, the equipment of the kitchen, cleaniness - all was great and well thought out.||The staff was very friendly as well. We enjoyed our stay. The only negative point was unfortunately the sleep: Matress was pretty hard and uncomfortable for us. This might vary from person to person though.

Location was perfect for a concert. Staff were great, we lost our key and they sorted it extremely fast. We had drinks in the bar, the staff there were amazing. Really friendly. Room was perfect, everything you'd need for a night away!

Good location with light rail, city bus, and airport bus stops right outside. There are a few restaurants and stores nearby however most of the time I went out to eat farther away. The rooms have a mini-kitchen with a stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Additionally there is a washer/drier in the room. I stayed for a week and it was convenient to be able to do laundry, however it did take a while for the drier to dry the clothes. The only issue during my stay was the room I was in had a very small window which was blocked by the kitchen counter and cabinets. To make matters worse, the overhead lights in the room were dim. Overall I would highly recommend.

We stayed for 11 days in Beckett Locke and overall it was a wonderful experience. Modern aesthetics inside and beautifully furnished. The home we stayed at was clean and the service was very decent with an average waiting time of 30 minutes from talking to the front desk to responding. Kitchen, diswasher, washing mashine/dryer etc. were all fully equipped, well-functioning and clean. Our stay was through the holiday seasons, so it's good to see that the standards were still held up during that time. The location was decent, and transportation to city centre and other places was convinient. There was a minor mishap with the key and the water boiler/temperature setup in the room, but it was quickly fixed and caused little disturbance to the overall experience. Dinner can be slightly on the expensive side but not unacceptable.
