Amazing Samba experience, a must if you're in Rio. You can eat there but don't necessarily go for the food. Definitely for the good vibes, the Samba and the atmosphere.

The Beco do Rato is a good place to enjoy the Samba music, it's safe and you can find there local people enjoying live music and having drinks. Located between the Lapa and Gloria neighborhood. Usually live music is only at night, look their schedule.

The only thing I remember is the magical samba music I listened to and danced. Everything else is blurred, as it should. Thank you Brazil.

Nice place but just too crowded. Service super slow. There was only 1 guy to do the drinks for everyone!!. A lot staff to cash first though. Meaning , they cash quick and you wait ages to get your drink. We even didn’t risk to order food, afraid we would get our food in the morning….for breakfast.

One of lapa's best places for samba lovers. There are often pagode band playing there at night.
