Booked the hotel via a BA holiday and we were very impressed. The location was very central easy to walk to most of the sites and the airport bus dropped off just around the corner. The staff were very friendly and helpful particularly Carlos in the pool who was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was really nice very modern and clean. The hotel smelt gorgeous, think it was Jasmine, just lovely. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of choices and a fresh honeycomb too, a fresh orange juice machine and a great coffee machine. Serving staff were polite and friendly. We had a few end of night glasses of wine in the bar, great service and great prices. The pool area was also good with a fantastic view of the cathedral, loungers were a little uncomfortable and it would have been nice to have had some more chairs in the shaded area but I am being picky here! We also loved the coffee corner, great coffee machine with a wide range of options, chilled water, choice of juice/squash, sweets, nuts and pastries all free of charge. We used the guest liaison to book a flamenco show which was also great. We loved this hotel, always a friendly welcome from the staff and we highly recommend it.

This hotel is amazing in every respect. Starting from very friendly, charming staff, large common area, complementary coffee, tea, all types, juice, and snack snacks from midday until 8 PM. Rooms are clean, modern and renovated. Swimming pool on the rooftop is small but quite pleasant with a bar and a nice shaded area. Also a great view from the rooftop at the swimming pool. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. Will definitely only go there if we go back to Seville.

Stayed here for 5 nights in August and had a great time. Very nice bathroom and a large bed in an air conditioned room. ||The service was great, with our room being cleaned every day when we were out. ||Very nice pool terrace with a canopy that shields you from the direct heat if you want it, with sprinklers spraying water every 20 seconds to keep you cool.||||The pool bar is a little overpriced but well stocked. ||The pool itself is quite small but still very nice and the terrace gives great views of the city. ||||Next to reception there is a nice coffee and filtered water machine and they often had pastries/fruit/snacks laid out free of charge. ||Free bike rental is also offered which is a nice touch. ||||The location is good, placed pretty much inbetween the town centre and the great Triana neighbourhood over the bridge. ||||Price wise, we may have got lucky as it was the off season, but I was very pleased with the price we paid given the quality of the hotel.

This was my second visit to Seville and to the hotel.|The first stay was with my Sister in 2024 and we returned with more family members this year.|My stay was amazing and we were so happy with everything. The room was better than the last stay and it was lovely to have some natural light. The room was clean on arrival and serviced everyday to a high standard.|The breakfast was great quality and had something for everyone. The only negative, perhaps not being as hot as I would’ve liked.|The hotel is in a great location for local shops and restaurants.|The staff were welcoming and go above and beyond. |I can honestly say that I have no desire to stay at any other hotel when visiting Seville.|I will certainly be returning.|Well done to all the staff.

Google
Kudos to the outstanding staff at this amazing hotel. Arriving at the hotel felt as if they rolled out a red carpet! We experienced the gold standard of what customers dream of. They surprised us with an upgrade - beautiful room, a free breakfast, tokens for 2 glasses of sparkling white wine. We entered our room to the phone ringing to ensure we were satisfied. That is incredible customer service! Our room was well beyond our expectations - huge bed, great amenities, large bathroom, closet, robes and slippers! We were blown away by the offerings at breakfast - more selections than we could have ever imagined and delicious!! Special thanks to Ana for overseeing our stay and the terrific front desk staff. The hotel location is conveniently close to this city’s highlighted sightseeing spots. There is also a large supermarket a block away as well as a pharmacy. Seriously don’t know why this hotel isn’t listed as a 5-star!

Rooms are fantastic. Very soundproof, clean and functional. Beds very comfortable. Can choose from a variety of pillows. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was great, within walking to the cathedral, Alcazar and shopping. Even in the 106F heat. Highly recommend.

Great hotel to stay, close to the old center of Ronda. Rooms were nice, good beds and a rain-shower. Restaurant/bar had similar prices to other local restaurants while also being great quality. The view from the restaurant is quite awesome. I'm deducting a star for the swimming pool, the temperature of the water was way too cold for comfort. The walls around the pool are a bit higher than the pool itself, making it so that there's no view at all from inside the pool. PS: don't forget to sign up as a member for free before booking to get a discount and some goodies.

Google
A lovely hotel in a good location.|Breakfast is excellent and the staff there are helpful and friendly. We also had sandwiches from El Poeta which were delicious- fully recommended.|The rooms were clean and quiet and well stocked, nicely decorated and the daily water was a nice addition.|I would stay here again.|My only reason for not giving it a 5 is the pool area- the seats are uncomfortable and on most days we were there towels, drinks and food were availabe. However, on Tuesday there were no staff poolside.|We ended up going down to reception for towels, we only got a drink because a photo shoot turned up and they opened the bar for them.

Yelp
I traveled to six countries and thirteen cities this July, and fortunately, I do research and choose the nice hotels because at this point in my life, I have worked hard and prefer to sleep comfortably. Hotel Bécquer was one of my, if not my favorite hotel because the service was superb. Carlos, who was the gentleman behind the counter when checking in offered us many suggestions of what to see, what to do, and most importantly for me, where to eat and drink. I prefer to eat with the locals and avoid tourist traps at all costs, is possible. The room was clean, the air conditioning was excellent, and the breakfast downstairs was the best we had while traveling. There is a charge, however, it was worth every cent! I have NEVER seen so many options for breakfast ANYWHERE, and they had an entire section dedicated to just olive oils. They made eggs and omelette to order with an array of options for ingredients! The meats, the cheeses, and the breads and pastries...truly a foodie's dream! Oh, and you also can make a churro too! Perfection!

Yelp
Loved this hotel! Excellent location where you can walk to everything and the staff is incredibly helpful. Our room was great with 2 balconies and always cleaned well. The hotel breakfast was excellent and the best we had in Spain. Such a great experience. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in Sevilla. It is incredible clean, staff is professional, helpful and rooms are lovely and roomy. They have a great rooftop pool which was the icing on the cake for us, water and afternoon coffee and pastry for guests. The staff was friendly and made great suggestions for local restaurants and sights to visit. I would definitely visit this city and this hotel again - had a fantastic time in Sevilla.

Yelp
Just completed a 2 night stay. Location was ok, room was clean, breakfast was decent, staff was cordial. 1/2 hour after being checked in we get a call not to use bathroom. There is a problem that should be corrected shortly. It took 7 hours. While a lovely fruit tray was sent up complimentary we were offered the use of another rooms bathroom. Management should have insisted on moving us & upgrading the room. I understand this was the weekend preceding Easter & it's a big deal. It's a big deal not to be able to use your bathroom for basically 1 day of a 2 night stay. The staff was polite but did not go out of their way. Big difference. I would never stay here or recommend. I think you can find much better

Yelp
Found it thru booking.com, read the reviews, checked out the hotels web-site, sounded great. And it was. Right near the river, close to the heart of Seville (the smell of orange blossoms in the air!), modern, clean, well maintained and a bargain. Our room was in the new wing, very nice, great comfortable beds, wonderful bathroom, and quiet. Breakfast was delightful. The space used has model birds suspended from the ceiling and the sound of bird call on speakers, not too loud, and uplifting in the early morning. Breakfast served 7am to 1030am, good selections, hot and cold foods, and helpful wait staff. Reception welcoming, fast, helpful. Stay here if you can, it's a great place. Did I mention that the restaurant next door, quite good cuisine but heady prices, has a tapas bar behind reception? What a delightful place that is! Enjoy!

Yelp
Staying at Hotel Bécquer made all the difference while we were on vacation in Seville. Nothing beats the CLEAN rooms and updated amenities, wonderful and helpful staff, and short walk or taxi ride to the best restaurants and the historic areas of the city. A surprise bottle of wine for my birthday was a nice personal and thoughtful touch. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Seville.

Yelp
The hotel is big, has all modern amenities, the rooms are much bigger than other European hotel rooms. Our check in was easy, but the room we got has such a horrible smell! I have never smelt anything like that in a hotel room. We complained and were moved to another room. That was no hassle. I would have given this place 4 stars, but for the location. It is not as close to the city centre as it is positioned out to be. All the happening places are near the Alcazar and this is at least a 15 min walk from there. I really wish we had booked something more central even if the rooms were smaller since old Seville is so beautiful with tiny plazas and beautiful old homes.

Yelp
If you are walking about Seville and going to all the visitor areas, this is a hotel to stay at, the location is a 10-walking distance to Cathedral, Alcázar, the bridges, good restaurants, and shopping. It was an easy cab ride for the train station. Our room was cozy and full of amenities we needed. The hotel set up free candy and wine for us, which was lovely. Comfortable bed and bathroom, the tub especially. Our room had a balcony which we could open up for fresh air. It overlooked a side street that was, fortunately, not too loud. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating; it was a little warm in the room since the A/C was turned for the Fall, but they brought us a great floor fan which solved that problem. There are plenty of restaurant options within walking distance, even a supermarket 2 blocks away in case you want to get things for the fridge. The pool and roof had nice views. If you like modern where it counts, like bathrooms, beds & pillows, and WiFi, this is the place, the decor is a bit kitchy but still very nice. Thank you for helping us have such a great vacation!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, but most importantly, the most helpful and friendly people work here! We were happily greeted and checked in as soon as we arrived. One of our rooms was not ready so we left everything and had lunch ( we were early), but when we came back our luggage had already been placed in the room. Great location as well! For a visit to Seville- best place to stay!!!

Yelp
Very upset...came to Sevilla for 2 days to relax and lay by a pool, a rooftop pool. Would have been great, but the pool was closed! Advertised that they had one, never mentioned that it was being renovated or anything on their website or when I booked. If I could give it a zero rating I would. Extremely disappointed, ruined my vacation...all the way here from the United States.

Yelp
Very nice and friendly hotel. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Excellent location.

Yelp
This hotel, although nicely located, had the worst service I have encountered in any hotel in Europe. Completely understaffed; there was not even an apology for a missing bartender for an hour - my order was only provided when I went into the kitchen and begged for it. When I lost my key card, I was told that I was not a registered guest - they eventully figured it out.Odd because I was a prepaid guest and I had reserved rooms for three colleagues as well under my name. Very odd lighting throughout the hotel. Also, 0dd configuration to the hotel space. I would completely avoid this place - there has to be better hotels in town.
