What an amazing hotel in a fantastic part of Seville. We had 5 nights at the lovely Hotel Bécquer and we really did have an incredible time. Myself, my husband and our 6 year old son George really enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave. The hotel is immaculate! All staff are friendly and helpful and the overall experience was exactly what we were looking for. ||The location is perfect, everything is literally a ten or fifteen minute walk from the hotel and there’s a nice bustling atmosphere without it feeling too noisy/busy. ||The breakfast was a highlight! Lots of choice and we’re all missing the delicious fresh orange juice. The variety of breakfast items really was impressive (and I’m a fussy vegetarian!) ||The rooftop area is very cool with beautiful views of the cathedral. We did manage to use the pool and our only (slight) criticism is that the pool was a bit too cold, would’ve been nice if it was heated. ||We all fell in love with Seville and the charm of the city and the hotel. We will be coming back for sure!

We had a fabulous stay here, the location is perfect, the staff are brilliant and so helpful. The rooms were large and full of amenities! We were given headphones, a bag and caramelised nuts as well as water in the room. There is a coffee station on the reception floor and the coffee machine was delicious! There were also snacks throughout the day if you wanted. The pool area is quiet and clean, perfect break from the city if you want it. Would highly recommend staying here

We have just returned home from spending 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. |It was perfect. |Our standard room was a great size. There was plenty of storage, tea/coffee, hair drier, very clean with a huge bed which was very comfortable. |Breakfast was great and catered for all with plenty to choose from. |In the reception area during the day you can help yourself to free tea/ coffee and pastries/ cookies. This was a lovely touch. |The roof top pool is great. |Staff were all very friendly and helpful. |Location is perfect. Just 15 minute walk to all the main attractions and a 10 minute walk to the river. |We will definitely return to this hotel very soon.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. We were greeted warmly by the front desk staff and were pleased to see the surprise waiting in our hotel room. The room was very quiet and modern, and we enjoyed the beautiful balcony attached to the room. Beds are very comfy. We opted for the breakfast buffet during our stay and it was the best buffet ever. The buffet featured an assortment of fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, and Spanish delicacies. There was also fresh orange juice! There is also a coffee lounge located outside the buffet area that is well stocked. The hotel is centrally located and is walking distance to several popular attractions. There are lots of options for restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is stunning, with a lovely courtyard, quiet lobby and a rooftop pool. We will definitely be staying at Bécquer Hotel again when we are back in Spain!

I couldn't fault the hotel. Friendly efficient check in, modern, clean and extremely comfortable room. Quiet aircon, hairdryer, soaps, shampoos etc and complementary water. Breakfast is superb, many options as well as complementary tea/coffee/pastries throughout the day. Roof terrace and pool looked nice but we didn't make use of them. All major sites accessible on foot in 10-15 mins. Would 100% recommend and would love to go back .

An unforgettable stay at Hotel Bécquer! We had the most amazing time at Hotel Bécquer. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms were spotless and so comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious with so many options to choose from. The location couldn’t have been better — everything we wanted to see was just a short walk away, which made exploring Seville so easy and enjoyable. Ana was so helpful and just lovely to speak too. All the staff were incredible. I can’t recommend this hotel enough — it made our trip truly special! 💛

What a wonderful hotel. From the second we arrived they were friendly and helpful. The reception staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, even helping with restaurant recommendations and numerous directions. They parked our car for us and helped with the luggage. I am a wheelchair user and the accessible room was wonderful. All the decor was modern and blended perfectly with the room so the bars etc didn’t stand out like they normally do. The accessible room was the most tastefully decorated that I have stayed in. That aside the room was beautiful, with everything you could want. From the little free accessories in the bathroom to the fridge and tea and coffee facilities. The hotel also had a free coffee lounge all afternoon, with a variety of pastries and little snacks, tea, coffee and fruit juices, a lovely touch. It had a beautiful terrace with fantastic views and a lovely pool (unfortunately only accessible by hoist). Breakfast was incredible. So much choice and wonderful quality. The breakfast staff were super friendly and spoke many languages. After a couple of days they knew what we liked etc and our room number which I felt was a nice touch that they go to the trouble to get to know their guests. A truly one of a kind hotel. Absolutely wonderful.

The hotel is centrally located and very close to the sights. The staff are very friendly and always available to help. A variety of food is available for breakfast. The rooms are very big, spacious and very clean, the bed is very comfortable. The coffee corner available is a great idea especially when you come back from sightseeing in the afternoon and want to have a tea/coffee break and with nice pastry. We enjoyed our stay very much; I would stay at this hotel again and I would definitely recommend.

Yelp
I traveled to six countries and thirteen cities this July, and fortunately, I do research and choose the nice hotels because at this point in my life, I have worked hard and prefer to sleep comfortably. Hotel Bécquer was one of my, if not my favorite hotel because the service was superb. Carlos, who was the gentleman behind the counter when checking in offered us many suggestions of what to see, what to do, and most importantly for me, where to eat and drink. I prefer to eat with the locals and avoid tourist traps at all costs, is possible. The room was clean, the air conditioning was excellent, and the breakfast downstairs was the best we had while traveling. There is a charge, however, it was worth every cent! I have NEVER seen so many options for breakfast ANYWHERE, and they had an entire section dedicated to just olive oils. They made eggs and omelette to order with an array of options for ingredients! The meats, the cheeses, and the breads and pastries...truly a foodie's dream! Oh, and you also can make a churro too! Perfection!

Yelp
Loved this hotel! Excellent location where you can walk to everything and the staff is incredibly helpful. Our room was great with 2 balconies and always cleaned well. The hotel breakfast was excellent and the best we had in Spain. Such a great experience. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in Sevilla. It is incredible clean, staff is professional, helpful and rooms are lovely and roomy. They have a great rooftop pool which was the icing on the cake for us, water and afternoon coffee and pastry for guests. The staff was friendly and made great suggestions for local restaurants and sights to visit. I would definitely visit this city and this hotel again - had a fantastic time in Sevilla.

Yelp
Just completed a 2 night stay. Location was ok, room was clean, breakfast was decent, staff was cordial. 1/2 hour after being checked in we get a call not to use bathroom. There is a problem that should be corrected shortly. It took 7 hours. While a lovely fruit tray was sent up complimentary we were offered the use of another rooms bathroom. Management should have insisted on moving us & upgrading the room. I understand this was the weekend preceding Easter & it's a big deal. It's a big deal not to be able to use your bathroom for basically 1 day of a 2 night stay. The staff was polite but did not go out of their way. Big difference. I would never stay here or recommend. I think you can find much better

Yelp
Found it thru booking.com, read the reviews, checked out the hotels web-site, sounded great. And it was. Right near the river, close to the heart of Seville (the smell of orange blossoms in the air!), modern, clean, well maintained and a bargain. Our room was in the new wing, very nice, great comfortable beds, wonderful bathroom, and quiet. Breakfast was delightful. The space used has model birds suspended from the ceiling and the sound of bird call on speakers, not too loud, and uplifting in the early morning. Breakfast served 7am to 1030am, good selections, hot and cold foods, and helpful wait staff. Reception welcoming, fast, helpful. Stay here if you can, it's a great place. Did I mention that the restaurant next door, quite good cuisine but heady prices, has a tapas bar behind reception? What a delightful place that is! Enjoy!

Yelp
Staying at Hotel Bécquer made all the difference while we were on vacation in Seville. Nothing beats the CLEAN rooms and updated amenities, wonderful and helpful staff, and short walk or taxi ride to the best restaurants and the historic areas of the city. A surprise bottle of wine for my birthday was a nice personal and thoughtful touch. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Seville.

Yelp
The hotel is big, has all modern amenities, the rooms are much bigger than other European hotel rooms. Our check in was easy, but the room we got has such a horrible smell! I have never smelt anything like that in a hotel room. We complained and were moved to another room. That was no hassle. I would have given this place 4 stars, but for the location. It is not as close to the city centre as it is positioned out to be. All the happening places are near the Alcazar and this is at least a 15 min walk from there. I really wish we had booked something more central even if the rooms were smaller since old Seville is so beautiful with tiny plazas and beautiful old homes.

Yelp
If you are walking about Seville and going to all the visitor areas, this is a hotel to stay at, the location is a 10-walking distance to Cathedral, Alcázar, the bridges, good restaurants, and shopping. It was an easy cab ride for the train station. Our room was cozy and full of amenities we needed. The hotel set up free candy and wine for us, which was lovely. Comfortable bed and bathroom, the tub especially. Our room had a balcony which we could open up for fresh air. It overlooked a side street that was, fortunately, not too loud. The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating; it was a little warm in the room since the A/C was turned for the Fall, but they brought us a great floor fan which solved that problem. There are plenty of restaurant options within walking distance, even a supermarket 2 blocks away in case you want to get things for the fridge. The pool and roof had nice views. If you like modern where it counts, like bathrooms, beds & pillows, and WiFi, this is the place, the decor is a bit kitchy but still very nice. Thank you for helping us have such a great vacation!

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, but most importantly, the most helpful and friendly people work here! We were happily greeted and checked in as soon as we arrived. One of our rooms was not ready so we left everything and had lunch ( we were early), but when we came back our luggage had already been placed in the room. Great location as well! For a visit to Seville- best place to stay!!!

Yelp
Very upset...came to Sevilla for 2 days to relax and lay by a pool, a rooftop pool. Would have been great, but the pool was closed! Advertised that they had one, never mentioned that it was being renovated or anything on their website or when I booked. If I could give it a zero rating I would. Extremely disappointed, ruined my vacation...all the way here from the United States.

Yelp
Very nice and friendly hotel. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Very good breakfast buffet. Excellent location.

Yelp
This hotel, although nicely located, had the worst service I have encountered in any hotel in Europe. Completely understaffed; there was not even an apology for a missing bartender for an hour - my order was only provided when I went into the kitchen and begged for it. When I lost my key card, I was told that I was not a registered guest - they eventully figured it out.Odd because I was a prepaid guest and I had reserved rooms for three colleagues as well under my name. Very odd lighting throughout the hotel. Also, 0dd configuration to the hotel space. I would completely avoid this place - there has to be better hotels in town.
