Bed & Breakfast 'À côté'

Wonderful stay at this place, fabulously situated, and the warmest possible welcome by the two charming owners. Clean and well-appointed. Fresh croissants and yummy home-made jams for breakfast!

Absolutely delightful place to stay with charming and helpful hosts. We had a problem with a lamp that wasn't working and it was fixed immediately. Same for the heating...a little cool on arrival as they were not expecting us in that room. However, while the radiators were heating they gave us a small electric fire to use which worked well. I hadn't realised/ read up enough that there were some rooms with a shared bathroom...so...had accidentally booked that. Luckily for us we were able to change to one with an ensuite bathroom. Everything was clean. Breakfast was great...superb coffee. Felt very welcomed. Also ..on their website it doesn't mention that they speak excellent English!! They were tolerant of our French too! A beautiful old building. In winter bars etc close early but at least things are open and available...and the people of Môtiers ( both restauranteurs and inhabitants) are friendly. We slept well and enjoyed our stay. Adorable cat too! He wasn't around much so it was a privilege to have them show him to us!

Great and charming little hotel, very friendly owners and a great relaxed atmosphere. The rooms where clean and decorated with attention to details. The hotel is in the heart of the town and next to absinthe stores/destillerys. Food is from local sources.

Deux personnes très gentilles qui offrent toujours un accueil formidable. La chambre est propre, entourée de nature, et c’est un endroit où l’on dort mieux que d’habitude et où l’on retrouve la santé. Les confitures du petit-déjeuner sont toutes faites maison et délicieuses, et le déjeuner permet de savourer de succulents plats familiaux japonais – un vrai régal !
