Bed & Breakfast Ercole di Amalfi

This property has beautiful panoramic ocean views from a terrace lined with lemon trees- truly stunning. The rooms are simple- ours had ants which got into our luggage. It is a family-run B&B, which is a nice touch. The breakfast is fresh and is served on the terrace. It is a very quiet area. ||The biggest downside is that is is quite a hike from the town and from any restaurants- though you can take the bus, it is very crowded and often difficult to get on- we ended up having to pay a lot for taxis after not being able to get on multiple busses that were packed to the brim.

A beautiful location overlooking the sea and lemon trees. The bedroom is a good size and well appointed with tasteful furnishings. The breakfast offering is lovely! The owner is very helpful in making suggestions for tours and very responsive on whats app. Easy to use the local bus down into amalfi with a bus stop outside the property. Just make sure to align your tours/ferries with the bus schedule and use a taxi to take your suitcases to the property.

Wonderful experience at B&B Ercole di Amalfi. The location is amazing, view on the sea and montains is fantastic, The room and breakfast are of very high standard. Mariagrazia is very helpful and supportive. Always a good piece of advice to get the best of Amalfi and the area. We strongly recommend this B&B

This B&B is amazingly beautiful and is outside the touristy city center of Amalfi. It is about a 10-minute bus ride to the city center where there are shops and restaurants, ferries and the main bus terminal. B&B Ercole di Amalfi is situated in a shady lemon grove with a spectacular view of the ocean, and it is the most comfortable and most beautiful place I have ever stayed. It is extremely clean and is owned and run by a wonderful 4-generation family who treated us like their own family during our 19-day stay. Hospitality comes naturally to the entire family and they made us feel welcome and pampered.||From the moment we arrived, Valentina and Mariagrazia made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. They started by arranging a driver, Antonio, to transport us to and from Naples when we arrived. He was one of the nicest people in all of Italy and he stayed in touch with us throughout our trip to drive us whenever we needed private transportation. Each day at the B&B started with a picture perfect breakfast served by Valentina and Mariagrazia on the terrace facing the sea. It was delicious every single morning and was almost too pretty to eat. They respected our privacy and always asked before entering our room to replenish towels and toiletries. They offered recommendations on restaurants and local events and were always available to us if we needed them after hours.||Thank you Valentina and Mariagrazia for your hospitality! We miss each one of your beautiful family and I especially miss being served an Italian espresso first thing in the morning. As you know, I enjoy my husband much more after my first espresso. 😆

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful B&B for 3 nights during vacation in Amalfi. We booked this B&B because they offer also a free parking space for the car. So it was very good for us, because parking space in this area is very rare, the good thing is, you can leave the car directly behind the gate in B&B, so you don’t need to be in worry about damage in the car, etc. Valentina was super nice to us as we checked in, she gave us some advice about the restaurants and some a good spots for visit in Amalfi coast. She gave us also Information about the bus, which directly make a stop in front of the B&B gate and of course we got also the time table from the bus. So you won’t missed anything here. The B&B has also breathtaking view from the garden and also super quiet, so you can relax in the garden with the see view under the beautiful lemon trees. They served also breakfast depends on your choice and make it fresh everyday, this is so far our best breakfast and experience in Italy, thank you so much for that. We‘re super happy, that we got room here, we‘ll be back for sure, hope that next time we also get lucky with the room, because they just have 3 rooms. Ercole Amalfi B&B was amazing. I simply cannot praise it enough. You feel as if you’ve been transported to another world and time. First Valentina, was amazing and helped us when we were lost in Norcello Italy. She even helped coordinate a taxi to pick us up. The garden on the property is just spectacular and smells of lemon and lavender. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and pristine. The beds are comfy and the bathrooms have all the modern amenities you would want! The main kitchen (where Valentina and her family serve you breakfast) is the perfect area (and the tile work and natural wood details are beautiful). We left our patio doors open on our room leading out to the garden and felt so safe and secure. With only 3 rooms, you feelyy as if you have the place to yourself. I cannot recommend Ercole Amalfi B&B enough. It is a little piece of paradise! Must stay!!!

The place is amazing, middle in the mountain and nature of Amalfi. The bedroom was even nicer than in the pictures: spacious and modern. The shower was amazing, the bed really comfortable. Valentina is a great hostess, she did everything to make our stay more enjoyable. They make delicious breakfast.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this stunningly, beautiful B&B Ercole di Amalfi in March for our 42nd wedding anniversary. The typical Italian family run business with the amazing, attentive and nothing was too much trouble our host Valentina, supported by her Nonna and Grandad made our week so very special. Tucked up in the mountains overlooking the Amalfi Coast and sea with just three rooms decorated to a very high standard, very comfy beds, immaculately spotless and set amongst the most fabulous lemon groves this is an absolute little gem. Every morning Valentina served us a delicious freshly cooked breakfast accompanied with fresh fruit and yoghurts. Valentina was always so helpful with suggestions of local buses, restaurants and places of interest. Several of the restaurants nearby offered a courtesy collection and return. We sampled 3 of them and all were top class serving fresh local fish, meat and vegetables and much cheaper than the restaurants in the main Amalfi square. We took the local bus every day, just a 5 minute walk from the B&B, down the mountain to the Amalfi square where you can pick up other buses to beautiful towns such as Ravello, Positano, Priano, Sorrento, Pompei. I would strongly recommend the Ercole di Amalfi B&B to anyone looking for a picturesque, peaceful location, excellently run establishment. Top Class, Superb. Thank you and Well done Valentina.
