Bed and Breakfast la Primavera

Sylvia was a great host, discrete but reachable. Way better compared to contactless checkin. Good size bathroom and rooms. Hot shower with good water pressure. The room was spotless, and the air even felt clean. We had an early flight and had to leave early, but breakfast was already ready when we woke up. Lovely small family run B&B a short walk from the centre of Volterra. Sillvia couldn't have been more welcoming when we arrived after a 2 hour flight delay, she waited up until after midnight to let us in. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, and fresh towels and housekeeping is provided daily. The breakfast is continental, but there is plenty of variety... home made jams and cakes were delicious 😋 A key is provided and you can come and go as you please. There are five rooms all situated on one level, like a bungalow, with lovely Mediterranean style garden surroundings, and seating in the garden is available. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay, and would come back as we felt the homely surroundings very relaxing.

Our hostess, Silvia was very helpful and a mine of local information. Has its own car park, a real bonus, and just a few steps from the gateway into town. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Good help yourself breakfast. Recommended

Silvia is a perfect host. At the time of my visit she was taking COVID precautions very seriously ( but not going overboard). My room was very large and clean with a large en suit room to match. There is parking and a garden you can sit in and it is only yards from one of the city gates. Breakfast was very well presented with a good choice in the continental style. The road out front is mostly quiet.

We spent three nights at La Primavera and thoroughly enjoyed them. Rooms are pleasant with modern bathrooms. The host is most helpful. It is just outside the city wall so the location is great. Parking on the property is a real plus. The B&B also has a pleasant garden.

My husband and I stayed at La Primavera B & B for 3 nights while site-seeing Volterra. Its location is hard to beat - only about 100 yards from the city gate. It is quiet, safe, and provides free parking. We were warmly welcomed by Silvia, shown our room, and given all of the information we needed for a great stay. The room and bath were large, and clean. Silvia takes pride in her property, and it shows. Our breakfast was served on beautiful dishes (full setting for each place), and the food was excellent (meat, cheese, boiled eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, home baked cake/pie, juice, and coffee). She provided excellent service - and, with a smile! She was helpful with information (restaurant and site-seeing advice), and never made us feel like we were wasting her time.

Stayed here for three nights. Excellent location one block from walled city gate. Breakfast was fabulous. Sylvia takes great pride in her B&B and it shows. She is very accommodating. Rooms are large and comfortable as are the bathrooms. Parking was the easiest we had in Italy. Great recommendation for a tour (Annie of Tuscan Tours in Voltarra). Price was excellent.

We spent 3 nights in July. Silvia is a fabulous host. The breakfast is fresh and she try to accommodate to your needs. I became sick do to the heat and need to spent one day in my room, Sylvia try to help me as much as possible. It is just one block from the center of the city and has plenty of parking space.
