Great location in the city center - walk to everything! The host here was one of the friendliest people we have ever met. She welcomed us with a great big smile and explained all we needed to know about the hotel and its surrounding area. Our room was charming, a bit small, but the bathroom was a very good size. There is no elevator, which is the only drawback, so be prepared to climb a few flights of stairs. The price of the rooms for this central location is excellent - you will spend much more elsewhere. Although not fancy, the accommodations are very charming and suited our needs well. We also loved having such a terrific host. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

The entrance is a little hard to find, and the owner is not always there! However, the staff in the lovely pasticceria just round the corner were very helpful, and gave me something to drink and nibble on while they located the owner! Once inside, there are two flights of old stone steps, 50+ I think; fortunately I had help in carrying up my suitcase. The rooms were large and comfortable, and each had a very good adjoining bathroom. Breakfast (coffee and croissant or similar) was served in the pasticceria, where the staff were delightful. The view from the roof terrace, up a tiny staircase, was spectacular.

Great location in the middle of down town and only a ten minute walk from the train station and central to all other sites. ||Check in/out was simple and the host was extremely friendly and helpful.||We had a very large room with a private bathroom that was separate (nest door) to our room. The room was extremely spacious with wardrobe, tv and an extra single bed. The bathroom was also large and the shower had great water pressure. The bedroom was made up daily and our towels were changed after two days (we stayed for three nights). ||For breakfast, we were given vouchers for the local bakery that included your choice of pastry and a coffee. Simple however enough for us.||The wifi worked without any issues however the air conditioner did not appear to work. This was not an issue for our stay as the weather was perfect, however after initially arriving we did attempt to turn it on for a short time to cool down after our walk with bags from the train station.||Overall we thought this was great value for money for a very comfortable stay, with friendly and helpful management. ||||

We just stayed here for the one night to see the little town of Arezzo. Before arrival I had received an e-mail explaining where we could park and that the owners were currently away and that we needed to check in at a local deli store around the corner. We found both the parking directions fine and the little deli store (instructions on the e-mail said you could park outside to drop your bags off, but couldn't stay there long term; however, our sat nav couldn't seem to get us there, so we ended up parking and walking through town for 5 mins with our cases, but it was fine!). There were a couple who owned the deli store, and although they spoke no English, and us no Italian, they were extremely helpful and friendly and we got by. The guy helped us up the many stairs with our bags and explained the different keys and also said that upon check-out the next day we could leave our bags in his shop if we needed to - see we got by! The place is an old 13th century tower, and we stayed right at the very top. It had old wooden beams, was extremely spacious and had our own bathroom, although not much head room in the shower if you're tall. The place also has a little rooftop terrace which although not spectacular views, gives you a view of the rooftops over Arezzo. You are given a voucher for breakfast, which is just really a coffee and a pastry, but it set us up before we headed on our way over to the coast. For a one night stop over to see this old historic town (where 'Life is Beautiful' was filmed) it was absolutely fine and I'd stay there again.

I just loved staying here in an old Palazzo right in the very centre of Arezzo. Huge room furnished in classical tuscan style. Very stylish. Spotlessly clean. Good bed linen and towels. Pedestrian area so some mild people noise . I am a light sleeper and it did n't bother me. ||||Breakfast was included in price in a bar nearby with the most amazingly good brioche-- the Italian name for their variety of croissants. And they also make really delicious cakes in this bar. ||||All in all the essence of the Italy that I love. And a wonderful restaurant just across the street - Antica Osteria L'Agania.

Central location, an easy walk from the station with the main sights, restaurants and shops close by. Very warm welcome in fluent English. 2 floors up and no lift but easily manageable. Very secure. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Small roof terrace with lovely views of the rooftops of Arezzo.

The hotel was really very nice. Breakfast is a real treat served in one of the best cafe's in Arezzo. It is also an added bonus being so central. Sara the owner was so kind to me when I became sick and did a lot to help. I would highly recommend this hotel really lovely familiar feel.
