Our family of 4 (2 sons aged 11 and 19 years) recently stayed 3 nights in the Romantico apartment of this fabulous b&b. We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Banzo for numerous reasons.||Firstly the location is hard to beat; we could wander out of our apartment into the cool courtyard, through the glorious heavy wooden door and we were just a few steps away from the boutique lined street that takes you into the bustling daily market at Campo di Fiori. We would go down there every morning for fresh fruit to enjoy with our breakfast. At night this piazza is buzzing again with diners enjoying the numerous restaurants lining the square.||Further afield we walked everywhere from our accommodation at Casa Banzo including Trastevere, the Vatican museum, Piazza Navona, the Colosseum and the Spanish Steps. ||||At the end of each day it was lovely to return to our spacious apartment. On entering the apartment the ground floor comprises the living area with kitchen (no dishwasher or microwave), table and chairs, sofa beds for our sons and a good sized bathroom; whilst upstairs is a large bed, wardrobe and comfortable sofa/sitting area. There is lovely lamp lighting throughout the apartment. Note that the apartment is quite dark without lights on as windows are limited to the front door area into the living room and the sitting area up in the master bedroom. Apart from feeling a little guilty at having lights on during the day this did not bother us.||||Another factor that made our stay at Casa Banzo so enjoyable was Justina, the lovely lady in reception who patiently answered all my emails and greeted us with such a friendly welcome. Justina continued to assist us throughout our stay whenever I had a query, always with a warm smile; she really is an asset to Casa Banzo and I hope she reads this so she can know that her efforts are appreciated.||||I would recommend Casa Banzo for families visiting Rome because the apartment is comfortable, spacious and in a great location. I cannot comment on breakfast as it did not appear to be good value especially with delicious fresh fruit just steps away in the market. Try the large cups of chopped fruit at 2€ topped with a dollop of yoghurt from the store on the corner of the square - yum!
