Bed, bad en brood

Loved our 2 nights here. The room was large and spacious and very professionally styled. The bathroom well fitted out. The breakfast each morning was sumptuous. Bedding was very comfortable and the location of the establishment perfect for exploring Antwerp. The only annoyance was paying for the room. Bank transfers and/or cash in this day and age is an inconvenience. I would strongly recommend they invest in the ability to take credit cards.

We stayed here several times over the decades, including at one point with a challenging child on the Autism spectrum, and we were always impressed with the patience, kindness and generosity of Koen and Marleen. Very comfortable accommodations, and we enjoyed the breakfasts.

A lovely b&b, some twenty minutes walk from the heart of Antwerp. Lovely, high-ceilinged rooms from the turn of the century, comfy beds, good decoration. As fine a breakfast as I've had in any B&B, with a different home-baked treat every day.

This is a lovely B&B in a characterful old building with huge rooms. Our room had a nice big bath. The breakfast was fantastic, with two or three kinds of bread, three or four cheeses, fresh cooked eggs, fresh made coffee, freshly made ginger tea, etc. The wonderful hosts were very kind and helpful.

Great location with everything you need at a reasonable price. You can get breakfast at an additional charge which we didn’t. We had the top floor room with balcony out to the street and impressive justice building. Nice little kitchenette and ample size bathroom. Its situated near the centre of Antwerp and we used the bike hire weekly pass to get around everywhere in a 5-7 km radius - highly recommend this option! Only concerns were the lack of air conditioning and the hike up the staircase! I would definitely stay here again thou.

Marleen & Koen are fantastic hosts, very attentive to their guests and details. I stayed 4 nights and every morning at 9am there was a wonderful breakfast with yogurt, croissants, coffee, infusion, smoothie, tea, granola, cold cuts, bread, and fruit. The Penny room is in the back and was quiet and peaceful. The house location is perfect for walking/cycling/scootering everywhere in Antwerp. It was a wonderful stay!

most friendly and personalized host, fantastic breakfast with everything one can wish, from the best bread to fruit, vegetables, croissants and much more. we had a room with a lot of space, the place is quiet and still in good walking distance from the center of the town and various attractions. we came back and will continue returning whenever in Antwerp

We stayed two nights recently at Bed, Bad en Brood in Antwerp and just loved the place, and the city! The various beautiful, tastefully furnished, spacious rooms are in an elegant, historic building, located very conveniently to the station and the city centre, as well as to lots of great shops and restaurants. The hosts, Koen and Marleen, are charming and helpful, great with recommendations. They serve a delicious, inventive breakfast in the downstairs common area each morning. There is also a kitchenette available for coffee and snacks. Bed, Bad en Brood perfectly captures the stylish and friendly nature of this lovely city.
