Bedbox Athens

I have traveled to 14 countries so far and stayed in many hostels, but this one is the best. The host is very kind and friendly and the place is very clean and quiet. This is also the first hostel I’ve been to that provides free water. I’ve visited many hostels, but the people I met and the time I spent here were the best. If I visit Athens again, I will definitely stay here.

It's a really nice and beautiful place, very relaxing. You can relax with a refreshing bath after sightseeing in Athens. It's worth a visit. It's more than a wonderful place, with breakfast, coffee and cake every morning, and excellent staff. The service is great, even more than great. The place is close to everything

This hostel was perfectly sufficient. We booked the private room (on the first floor) which was no frills but perfectly met our needs for one night in Athens. Hostel reception was very friendly. No trouble whatsoever, would definitely stay again. Cheers!

Location is what i really like about this hostel. Near to great food. Near to train station. Very easy to get around. Lift to every floor - easy for luggage. I like the smell of the room when i enter, after housekeeping just completed. They put great air perfume and feels great. Room is very spacious, with locker for everyone. We also have curtain for privacy. Own light and charge point at the bed. Staff very welcoming, friendly. Breakfast: Cake + Coffee (7-9sm)What i didn't like but i can live with it:1. Toilet v small. Not suitable for XL folks. 2. Some shower areas without light3. No towel, no toiletriesIn short, I'll like to return to this place again if i come Athens alone.

This hostel is really special. If I could give them more stars on the review, I would do it; all people that work at reception are the kindest. They always received me with a smile, asking me about my day and what did I visit. They also were very willing to help me with recommendations and tips to enjoy the city and how to move to other parts of Greece. The rooms are very comfy, the water from the shower is excellent (I like the water hot enough to boil a chicken lol) and the cleaning ladies are sweet and respectful. The kitchen aswell is well maintained and fully equipped. They offer laundry service and they play very good music at reception haha If I ever go back to Athens, I would go to Bedbox again, sure thing. Thank you for making me feel safe and at home while traveling :)

I had a great stay at this hostel! The location is perfect : very central, so I could walk everywhere easily. There’s a grocery store just 2 minutes away, and a café right on the main floor, plus lots of restaurants nearby. The staff deserve a huge shoutout for being so kind and helpful. I had an issue with my airline and didn’t receive my luggage until 48 hours after arriving in Athens, and since I was then traveling around the islands, the entire team went above and beyond to help me sort everything out. Special thanks to Aphrodity, Sofia, Nina, Constantina, and Maria for their amazing support. Thank you all for making my stay in Athens so enjoyable! I will definitely be coming back!

Very friendly staff, and we really appreciated their recommendations on food, restaurants and things to do! The size of the hostel and rooms are nice. Even though the hostel was fully booked, it did not feel crowded:) we arrived at 5am and could use the common areas until check in without any issues

Sofie gave an incredible reception, made everyone in the hostel felt welcome. Constantinas gave solid recommendations of local food around the area that were amazing. The 6-person rooms i tried were okay, sometimes clean sometimes not. Bathrooms are tiny & subdivided very abruptly, felt reminiscent of a military barracks lifestyle. Bring your own towels and toiletries. Excellent value for the price if you simply need a place for sleep.
