Stayed for a couple of nights in a tent, we chose a spot next to the brook. Being a Bank Holiday the site was busy but not over crowded. Toilet facilities were clean and plenty of them. Lovely little shop. Friendly staff, take away from the bakehouse was excellent. Perfect base for a snowdon climb and easy walking distance to pubs and Beddgelert, steam train stops on site beautiful views from the camping field

Really lovely site, stayed in our van on hard standing pitch with EHU. Most pitches are level and are 1st come first served. Toilets and showers are very clean, very modern. Excellent facilities all round, really friendly staff in a well stocked site shop. Takeaway food anvailable every evening or take a short 20 min walk by road (no path) or 30 min by trail into Beddgelert. Love this site, would def recommend.

We had a lovely stay — the pitches were level and well-maintained, set in a beautiful woodland location surrounded by bluebells and wildflowers. It was incredibly peaceful, with only birdsong in the background, making it feel like a real escape into nature. The facilities were nearly immaculate — clean, modern, and thoughtfully laid out. The only small issue was that the shower water was quite hot, and it would be helpful to have a way to control the temperature. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. One tip: don’t forget the insect repellent! The midges can be relentless in the evening. Overall, a tranquil, scenic site with excellent amenities — we’d definitely return.

This is a great mixed use campsite, hard standing, grass and cabins. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the site itself is in a great location and well looked after. It's a shame that the campsite will be replaced by a cabin only set-up in the future!

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Staff were amazing greeted in a warm kind way by Alison. The lads at reception were brilliant even opening the shop back up late one evening, couldn’t fault the staff at all! Food was amazing my wife is indian she was impressed with the curry! Overall experience was relaxing and well worth another visit

Lovely site with a good team and amenities. Clean, hot showers and a nice site layout. Wi-Fi was down, but the team repaid what we paid back. The village was very nice, and all in all, a good camp and experience. Bonus with the steam train station on site as well, and a nice adventure for all.

This site is ideally located for hiking around the area of Beddgelert. Moel Hebog is literally behind the site. There are also easy trials around the woods. If you go off the forestry roads you need good boots as its boggy. The site itself is clean with good facilities. I stayed in a tent. The field is about 1/2 an acre so not huge. It's next to the river which is very pretty. There is a unisex shower and toilet block. There are only two cubicles, so if it's busy this could be an issue. However there are others around the site. This was clean, modern and plenty of hot water with a free shower. The site was peaceful and quiet when I stayed. It's also an easy walk to Beddgelert if you want to eat out and drink. The onside shop was handy with good quality food and drink for sale. Highly recommended site.

A cracking campsite, not much sun but it's a wooded site so you expect trees. Nicely laid out and sheltered on the campervan Pitches. Fantastic toilets and shower units. Very friendly and helpful staff and well stocked shop at reasonable prices. You are allowed off ground fire pits and the shop sells fire kits. A really nice half hour walk through the trees and foothills to Beddgelert, no roads to worry about. The steam train that stops at the station on the site was a bonus and great day out. Dog friendly. We will definitely be back.
