Love this place changed a lot in 15 years when we use to camp and we had our caravan here for a year. They have a bake house that does pizza, curry's fish and chips. There is bicycle, disabled scooters etc horse riding and a steam train that runs through the park.

This site wasn't my first choice to stay; however, I'm so very glad we went here; we couldn't fault any part of the stay. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The pitch (which you choose yourself) are all separated, so not 'over looked; they are relatively flat (needed a slight lift); the water points are available around the site. Our pitch was along side the Welsh Highland Railway, which ran a few times a day; there's a station available 'on-site' if you want to take a ride (however, you'll need a large wallet). It was very quiet at night and lots of bird song during the day. The site is dog friendly. The amenities are second to none; they are modular, such that they contain a shower (with loads of very hot water), sink & toilet and they are very modern and very clean. There is shop and a takeaway on site; the takeaway portions are far too large and would quite easily serve two people. The location is within a short walk of Beddgelert and/or a short drive to Ryd-Ddu which is the start to one of the best routes up Snowdon. Outside of the site is a bus stop, which will take you (and dogs) to various places (including the seaside).

Friendly staff, hardstanding pitches are not level so chocks are needed. Toilet and shower block are very clean. Walk to Beddgelert is safer allong the track that starts near reception and is about 2 miles. The road to the hardstanding pitches is gravelled and bumpy so drive carefully. You are under the tree canopy so when it's windy, twigs will fall. But overall not a bad site.

A great site in an amazing location. We were there during Easter 2023, there were plenty of campervans, motorhomes and caravans on the hard standing area but free tents at the time. The small stocks plenty including some local produce, we didn't try the cooked food available but it looked good. Plenty of good showers and toilets, electric hookup available. Great choice of pitches right in the woods so peaceful and great views. Loads of great walks or cycle rides straight from the site with a lovely stream train passing by. Great location too for exploring within Snowdonia and beyond. The walk into Beddgelert is great and offers even more stunning walks. A great choice

A cracking campsite, not much sun but it's a wooded site so you expect trees. Nicely laid out and sheltered on the campervan Pitches. Fantastic toilets and shower units. Very friendly and helpful staff and well stocked shop at reasonable prices. You are allowed off ground fire pits and the shop sells fire kits. A really nice half hour walk through the trees and foothills to Beddgelert, no roads to worry about. The steam train that stops at the station on the site was a bonus and great day out. Dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

First time in Wales and we loved it. We were lucky to stay at this very nice campsite in the Beddgelert Forest. The staff is helpful and friendly and they make a great curry, which you can order online and pick up whenever you want. The hardstanding pitches were perfect, because it rained quite a bit. Luckily the showers were nice and hot. And clean too! We climbed Moel Hebog, that was a big challenge for us, but we are Dutch, so not used to anything ;). We'll be back, one week is too short.

I love this campsite, nestled in the forest with your own hardstanding and plenty of room. The facilities are spotless, modern and plentiful and the bakery super. Beautiful little shop and coffee house. An added bonus of the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railway trains running right past the campsite a few times through the week. Brilliant and cant wait to return!

Really good site. Unfortunately the power was off for 3 days when we arrived because a new toilet block had been built and the old one knocked down. I can knock the site for a power outage. It would have been nice to know in advance but lucky for us we had just filled up with Gas. Really great site for dog walking in the forest. Easy walks to Bedgellert and to Snowdon. Had a loverly week is some very mixed weather.
