The dervish performances that take place here are not a silly touristic attraction- the dancers and their teacher take it seriously and perform a wonderful show. Much recommended.

Donkey's are cool up this end of the island. Bedesten is probably not worth the drive all by itself.

Bedesten was closed when I passed by and I assumed it was included in the Selimiye mosque renovation but later heard people got in at different hour so be persistent:)

Wow, I was compleatly blown away, it is a pity that this fine "little" building is beeing overshadowed my its bigger and far younger and much less interesting neighbour "the st. Sofia".

You pay a small fee to enter. The building is simply an old structure. no religious relics remain in the Christian Church. However, it is a pretty building. Can't say it's worth entering though.
