Place is popular with europoors. Wifi is stable which is nice. The curry was a bit thin, more of a soup. At least they have several plausible vegetarian options if you're tired of gado gado always. On a quiet alley. A mouse or rat kept running around the floor.

Great place for tasty vegetarian food. Servings are generous as well. The ambience is cosy and comfortable. We ordered oseng oseng, fried vegetables in coconut curry and gado-gado. The veggies in coconut curry was the favourite although the other two were good too. PS: make sure you go up the stairs to the tables on the breezy balcony above.

We stumbled upon this hidden gem online and decided to give it a try for dinner during our three-night stay in Yogyakarta. They offer a variety of Indonesian dishes. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to return the following day, and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, and the prices are reasonable, especially for North American standards. They also offer cold beer and free WiFi. If we ever find ourselves in Yogyakarta again, we would definitely return.

Cheap and tasty indonesian meals! Great section of vegetarian options. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Could look a bit better on the plate, but as it's still tasty, so not complaining!

A really cool out-of-the-way restaurant & homestay! I only ate there, so I cannot speak to rooms. However, the food was delicious and decor was beautiful. They have amazing artwork on all the walls & ceilings. The staff was friendly & courteous. It's a little of the beaten track, but a short walk (5 minutes) from the train station.

Apparently a good fancy restaurant and bar. You can even have beer here. But, to be honest, the Indonesian foods were not satisfactory. If you find a beer place, it's good but for local food, it's not.

Busy restaurant on a small side street that we were looking forward to trying. We ordered a Sprite and a large bottle of water and both were brought down the table without glasses. We had to eventually ask for two glasses. We ordered our meals - two main courses consisting of chicken and rice. My partners meal came after a wait of about 25minutes. He had nearly finished his meal and mine still had not arrived. I asked two different waiting staff who both told me it was being prepared. Waited another 20 minutes, my partner had finished eating, and still no food for me. I did not pay for my meal but when paying for my partners the host offered no explanation as to why I never received my food. Disappointing service, would not recommend.

Food is very good 👌 and reasonably priced. Bali fried chicken with extra spice (35k idr) was my favorite meal for the couple of days I was in Jogja. Also ate some of the python with some friends there, which you have to order the previous day, which was tasty and a culinary experience for me as well. Located in a quiet alley, very cozy place to enjoy a meal. Upstairs has a balcony, which looks over the tiled rooftops of the area. It has a bit of a disorienting angle to the floors though 😅
