Amazing chocolate!! Staff was helpful and nice. I do miss being able to see in the factory and watch them make the bars. Worth stopping by and grabbing some chocolate!

What a great find at rest stop. Free samples as you walk in. An amazing selection of gift baskets and assortments. We bought some to eat right away and some to take home. You can also order on line and they will ship.

This place is deadly for diets. Yep, you’re going to tell me it’s all about self control, BUT have you ever been to this place?! I drive by here every few weeks on the way to call on my Oklahoma accounts and find myself stopping here either going to/leaving OKC. Lots of solid products to choose from at reasonable prices. Best of all is the option where you can pick 25 pieces of various chocolates for a flat price of $10.99.

LOVE THIS PLACE. The chocolate is top notch and it's the finest Oklahoma-born gift I've found yet. We've mailed several of their gift baskets, picked others up in person and even ordered several hundred of their chocolate melts online... They always go above and beyond in service, and have new sweets for us to try when we visit. Kudos to everyone who keeps this brand operating at such a high level!

I have known about this place for years. What I didn't know is that it was open to the public! All of the fine chocolate that they make there in the factory is sold in their store! The dark chocolate melts are exquisite. Chocolate cover potato chips along with white chocolate dipped bugles, yum! Gift sets, single bars... you name it, they got it! If you have never had Bedrè chocolate, you are missing out on something that is so good it has to be from heaven.

We recently visited bedré and got us some assorted treats. The potato chip dipped chocolate from this gourmet chocolate company was very deliciou, and were blown away by the unique and delicious flavor combination. The chocolate was rich and creamy, and the crunch of the potato chips added an unexpected and delightful texture. In addition to the potato chip chocolate, we also sampled a variety of other chocolates from this company and was impressed by the wide selection they offered. From traditional flavors like milk chocolate and dark chocolate to more creative options like caramel sea salt, there was something for every chocolate lover. The presentation of the chocolates was also top-notch, with each piece beautifully packaged and perfect for gifting. Overall, I highly recommend this gourmet chocolate company for anyone looking to indulge in some high-quality, unique chocolate treats. I had never been to this location but I was over that way and stopped in. I’ve had their chocolates before and they are great! We went a few days after Christmas and they had lots of great deals on leftover Christmas gift bags. I loaded up!

Brought back a little bit of "home" over the holidays and for fun our family did a blind taste test with Bedre, Ghirardelli, Lindt, and a local small batch chocolatier brand. Bedre was bland and disappointing every time. Buy it to support the Nation if you like, but don't buy it if you're wanting to experience exceptional chocolate. Disappointing

A friend of mine recently visited from San Antonio and stayed at an Airbnb in town. They had Bedre chocolates as a welcome gift for her. I had never heard of it, so I looked it up. I was surprised to see that the factory is in Davis and mom and I had a quick trip planned to go, so I thought it would be fun, even though I'm a caramel rather than a chocolate fan. It was fun to see the factory floor. I wish there had been more activity so we could see how things were done, but it's not like it's Willy Wonka. Lol There was one lady working and that was still neat to watch. It was far away, but it looked like she was placing chips on the chocolate enrober, so that was cool. I bought some as I had one years ago and it tasted good - the whole sweet and salty thing. These had too much chocolate for my taste, but normal people would probably like that. We also noticed they had electric car chargers outside, which is good information for others to know. It's worth a quick stop if ever in the area!

Great place, worth the stop. I worked for a chocolate company for about 10 yrs, and have tried a lot of different chocolate. They make a delicious product. The production area was spotless. My favorite product is the dark chocolate raspberry melts.

I buy Bedré's holiday baskets almost every year -- they make terrific holiday gifts! I've uploaded a pic so you can see just how pretty they are. (And what a bargain at $74.99 plus sales tax, to boot. At least that's the one we usually buy in multiples.) Is this truly fine chocolate by Valrhona standards? Probably not -- I'm pretty sure the chocolate itself is made off site. But it's good for what it is -- think Ghirardelli or even Hershey quality at most. There are several places here in Oklahoma City and Tulsa -- as well as elsewhere across the state -- to buy Bedré, so, no, in fact, you DON'T have to drive to freaking Davis to find the stuff. (I seldom have Bedré products shipped since I have so many local options to purchase. The website's nice, though, but shipping costs can really add up, I bet.) I like Bedré's chocolate-mint meltway thingies (I forget what they're called), as well, and also just recently learned that (!!!) Bedré is wholly or partially owned by the Chickasaw Nation. (How cool is THAT?)

Great chocolate! Interesting gift shop. And, Indian welcome center gift shop right next door, which is also interesting.

Stumbled upon this wonderful Native chocolate shop on my way back from Ardmore. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable and I learned so much about this fantastic brand. How cool is it the Chickasaw are the only Native American tribe to own their own chocolate brand!! They have flavored meltaways, from classic mint to raspberry, caramel or strawberry, in milk and dark chocolate. They also have white corn twists (bugles) and it's amazing combination of sweet white chocolate and salty crunch. They have their own factory on site and it would be fun to see the process in action but I stopped by on a Saturday and it wasn't producing.

We purchased some chocolates such as milk chocolate pecan caramel, milk chocolate caramel, chocolate covered gummy bears, & chocolate covered coffee beans. All are delicious! The service was great! You get samples as you come in, that's how you're greeted in! Who doesn't love that?! We went on a Saturday afternoon so there was nothing going on in the production itself. But the place is clean! I would definitely love to see it on a weekday when it's in production. Must see and taste!

I love the chocolate and haven't had any of it in about 4yrs so when I was in town visiting family I had to swing on by before heading out of state again. I wish I had came 30min earlier as the factory was closed by the time I arrived (5pm) but they had tons of chocolate so still a win win for me. I got a few items for family and myself and made my way to the lot with tons of treats. Next time I'm in town, I am gonna come earlier in the day.

A great experience. The store features incredible chocolate and a great view of the chocolate factory that is visible through large windows. They have a good variety of different types of chocolates and holiday gift baskets.

What a fun stop for a trip home to okc from Texas. Free samples, a park for the kids to burn some steam, and nice restrooms! Plus, I can stock up on chocolate covered Pringle's (so good you guys). It's nice to visit the headquarters because you can see some behind the scenes stuff, as well as shop the clearance chocolate (tastes just as good). It's not far off the highway, and definitely a repeat stretch your legs stop for us!

Bedré means "Better" in Norwegian. So... Chocolate manufactured by the Chickasaw Nation using cacao grown in Central America and North Africa with a Norwegian brand name. In Davis, Oklahoma. They're so close from representing every continent out there. Maybe shove a penguin, kangaroo, and a Bengal tiger into the logo somewhere and call it a day? Bedré Fine Chocolate is... Fine. Actually, it's better than fine. I mean yeah, it's very touristy, and the prices reflect that, but the chocolate is delicious. Much better chocolate than what we as Americans consume on a regular basis. Hershey's is crap, that's right I said it. I'm personally a big fan of the Hot Fudge Meltaways, which in my humble opinion is the only thing worth spending your money on, but others will tell you I'm wrong. Actually, the Mint and Caramel Meltaways are also quite delightful. Gift bags, which include a random assortment of Meltaways (except Mint) are $15 for 40. If you buy just a handful of Meltaways, they are $0.40 a piece, which comes to $16 for 40. Yes, it's one dollar more if you pick and choose your own flavors, but honestly, it's probably worth it to just buy individual pieces, because that extra dollar spent ensures that you get only the flavors you want, and not the crap flavors like the Raspberry. Blecch. But the gift bag thing is nice, because... Gift bags. For gifts, you know? Oh right, sugar-free gift bags are $17. Prices are not cheap per se, but they're not exorbitant either. Actually no, the Chocolate Crisps are quite inflated, and not worth the asking price. Yes, I've tasted them, and no a tiny Pringles-sized can is not worth $10. But the Meltaways are totally worth it. We bought three gift bags and it totaled $47. If we weren't entirely lazy, we could have bought individual pieces and gift-wrapped them ourselves. Also, definitely don't buy the coffee or the chocolate soda at this factory location. For whatever reason, they're significantly cheaper if you walk into the Chickasaw Travel Stop just across the street. When I say significantly cheaper, I mean the coffee was $4 cheaper for the same bag, and a 4-pack of soda bottles was also cheaper, although I can't remember by how much now. Anyway, long story long, Bedré has good gift options if/when you're visiting someone outside of Oklahoma.

Willy Wanka meets that "Job Switching" episode of I Love Lucy = Bredre Fine Chocolate. Free tastings... check Chocolate bars... check Bonbons... yes Bark of all types... yes Turtles... the candy, not the reptile... yes. Chocolate covered potato chips... hell yeah... in dark and milk. White Chocolate covered corn "Bugle" snacks... What?!?!?! a BIG YES. Chocolate soda... uhm... it was very interesting and I was glad I tried it. I could not even drink half the bottle... very rich and it would be better served as an ice cream soda. A must do on any road trip down south of OKC.

We went on the weekend so we weren't able to see the factory work but the staff in the gift shop were super friendly. Great quick stop to get some great chocolate.

This spot is lots of fun. Literally seeing how and where the sweets are made was unique and made my mom happy. She has wanted to stop for years and when she mentioned it, I figured there was no reason not to. We even ran into an old friend doing the same thing. The staff are great, the samples are lovely, and the fresh chocolates are amazing. Take a moment to stop on your next trek down I-35, you won't regret it.

Pro tip...they pretty much never close. Just because it looks empty and closed it's probably not. We have bypassed this place for years because the parking lot was empty at the time. Little did we know the chocolate minions we packing goodness right inside the doors. We went this last week after Christmas. Unfortunately they were not cooking or packing anything but they did have huge glass windows so you could see the production lines. The ladies working were super nice. They handed out free samples at the door and not those tiny cut up pieces that have you begging like Oliver Twist. They also offered seconds. I'm not a fan of Dark Chocolate but the White Chocolate Corn Twists (aka Bugles) are rich and smooth. I got the hubs a caramel chocolate cover apple. It was bigger than a grapefruit! I was lucky enough to come after Christmas when the holiday gift baskets were half off. I get that the chocolate is delicious, locally made, and delicious (yes I meant to say that twice) but it's a bit spendy for the average tourist stopping by.

The milk chocolate coffee is delicious! Well everything we got was very good and the ladies working were also very nice!

I consider myself to be a chocolate snob. I was so excited to give this place a try as we were traveling back to Texas. Well, I was not impressed at all. The chocolate lacked the depth and richness that I'm accustomed to in really good chocolate. It reminded me of the biggest mainstream brands sold in the store.

Fun Stop along your journey. We were on that side of OKC to check out Turner Falls, which is beautiful BTW. The people were very friendly, the showroom is beautiful, and it is clinically clean in there. The chocolate? It is chocolate, I wasn't necessarily blown away by anything. My wife really liked the chocolate covered Oreo's. Be prepared to drop some cheddar, it is not cheap, but it is on par pricing wise with all chocolate shops. I paid 30 bucks for two pounds of Milk Chocolate Mint Melt Aways. They were great!

I purchased 5 pieces of candy for $2 & change. Incredibly cheap! My favorite pieces were actually the wrapped raspberry dark chocolate caramels. Delish. I bought 2 & wished I had purchased more. I really wanted a dark chocolate almond caramel cluster but the clusters only come in milk chocolate. I settled for a dark chocolate almond bar & a dark chocolate salted caramel. Ate them together. The caramels were fantastic. Chocolate just a-ok. I can't say the chocolate was "fine" as advertised. When I think fine, I think sophisticated flavor. The shop & candy were beautifully presented but the taste was comparable to any average chocolate, the milk chocolate anyway. The selection of fresh chocolate is limited. Mostly milk chocolate varieties. A few dark; those were tasty & preferable. Most of the candy is prepackaged & boxed, bagged, or wrapped. The glass window where candy appears to be produced were intriguing but the factory was dark & not in operation. It was pleasant to be offered a sample when we arrived, but as I mentioned, I was kind of put off by the milk chocolate. Overall though, excellent value! I struggled with how many stars to rate this establishment. 3 stars. 4 stars. Essentially the price & tasty caramels tipped me to the higher value, but there's nothing exceptional about the chocolate.

This place is the perfect place to go if you're a tourist! The amount of options are countless & if you look through all their offers, you can find some options for a relatively low price. However, mostly everything is pretty expensive. The creativity in their merchandise is mind blowing, and the staff is very friendly and patient. If you're a chocolate lover, I would highly suggest going!

A very fine place to stop over. Kids are buzzing just with the free chocolates! A bit pricey for our wallets but a little splurge wouldn't hurt especially during this Christmas season!

I enjoy their chocolate, which is why my wife and I took our granddaughter in to pick some out for herself. We made it about a step into the establishment when the woman behind the counter barked at us to put on a mask. Now regardless of which side of the mask issue you fall on, you still don't treat your potential customers so rudely. I promptly exited while my wife and granddaughter decided to buy some chocolate anyway. They came out and told me that the lady was very rude to them the whole time they were in there. This will be my last visit, and that old bat needs to seriously get over herself!

Right off of I-35. This is a new building, NO smell of fresh chocolate. I thought we were going to see big production of making start to finish of the products. This is private owned business. Large glass windows w friendly employees waving as you see chocolates wrapped and placed in boxes to be shipped. Very clean. We were given two samples. Could have someone talking about their productions.

Heard about this place next to the name plate hotel in this area, thought would be a nice cooling treat place. Found out we missed the extensive crowds of the previous day attending an art festival, but we did not miss out on the result of the gigantic crowds in that the menu was a bit restricted because they had run out of many things. No matter, we ordered a couple of Arbuckle Shakes made with milk chocolate ice cream rather than the normal vanilla. Actually....I probably would have asked them to make it with chocolate ice cream anyway, as this shake also includes pieces of their signature milk chocolate caramel bar, plus whipped cream striped with caramel topping. To me, chocolate just works better in this combination. Anyway, we also ordered a strawberry shake and a double scoop of cookie dough ice cream on a waffle cone. The strawberry shake was proclaimed....best ever! The cookie dough cone was good but not earth shattering, have had better. So the Arbuckle shake...while tasty...it took an inquiry at the counter as to how small they grind up the included milk chocolate bar, as we couldn't find any evidence of it in our Shakes. Glad we were sitting at the 50's style counter, as our shake preparer was standing right there...who said..OOPS! ...and quickly provided us with a broken up bar pieces that they had a customer pull off a shelf into a half eaten shake. So...the ice cream was good, service not so much, as it also took forever to simply get our ice cream cone and the place was more than half empty with three people behind the counter. Maybe they were still experiencing the energy drain of big crowds from previous day.....or maybe this is how it's done in Sulphur late afternoon...hard to say. One of our group said as we drove off...look, there's a Braums, we could have gone there, I love their shakes......Hmmmm.....

Go figure in the beautiful rolling hills of Oklahoma and turner fallls this wonderful oasis. As the bill board reads free piece of candy to all visitors , we were greeted with a free treat at this wonderfully clean modern chocolate factory. If your a fan of small local chocolate factories this is a must stop. Clean restrooms and watch the Willy wonka of Oklahoma

I am NOT a huge chocolate fan. Now, I will take my hand out of this bag; ease away from this wonderful chocolate meltaway; and will write this review. My first experience with Bedre chocolates was the previous night at a wine and chocolate pairing. I'm wasn't too keen on the concept, but it was a Yelp Super-elite event, so I trusted Yelp. WOW. They did a wonderful job with the pairing. The combination of flavors milk chocolate - dark chocolate - raspberry filled - peanut butter filled - mint filled - and more. My taste buds were sooooo happy. The following day found me taking a brief tour of the store and looking through the windows while listening to an explanation of how this delightful variety of chocolate delights were made. If you are in the area try a little or try a lot, you won't be disappointed. WAIT! The price! extremely reasonable. My wife and I bought a healthy amount of chocolate. It should have been about $50. At their normal price, it was around $30. The only sad part was that all of the goodies were not for us. We (Okay, I really me "I".) have to share. I guess this just means that we will have to go back.

Love this chololate factory!!! We stop here this summer on family vacation and fell in love with the chololate... Was passing through the area again today and decided to stop and buy some chololate... The people were helpful and friendly

Excellent! And a free sample... My 2nd time and really wanted to watch them making the candy, but their generator was being replaced. Oh well... 3rd trip in my future! Everything is good... Melts ways (hot fudge) and salted caramels are my favorites! If you are a chocolate person... You won't be disappointed.

Delicious. Nice variety of chocolates. Got some chocolate bars, some Oklahoma shaped milk chocolates, and some chocolate covered pringles. Looks like we found another place to stop whenever we drive south on I-35.

Delicious! The staff was super friendly and the chocolate is tastey! Definitely a nice little place to stop. The parking lot was large with easy access to the highway. The prices were fair. Four chocolate bars and a couple handfuls of the little melt - a - ways for 6 dollars.

Took a day trip on Spring Break; however, when we got there, they weren't making anything in the plant, just a couple workers were cleaning. Cashier in the gift shop said they usually stop around 1:30pm. . We bought a variety of chocolates to take home with us. Great, smooth, tasty chocolate!

I brought my girl scout troop in on our way home from our OKC trip. The staff was friendly and helped take care of all of us. They were amazing and that chocolate was delicious!!
