Bee & Thistle Inn

My husband and I just celebrated our wedding at the Bee and Thistle. Tosh was absolutely lovely to work with. She handled every little detail and made the experience amazing. She was on top of every step along the way and went above and beyond for us. The food was delicious and the portions are large. All our guests raved about the dinner. The cake was exceptional also! We stayed in an adorable and cozy room with a gas fireplace. It was very romantic and comfortable. The next morning we also enjoyed a complimentary breakfast. The overall experience was like no other. The Bee and Thistle is the quintessential Connecticut B&B type Inn and we will definitely go back to celebrate our anniversaries in the future.

The atmosphere can't be beat. Beautiful dining room with romantic and intimate seating. Cozy fire places and friendly staff. The menu could be more descriptive, and at the price point the food was a bit lackluster. Overall a decent experience.

I have been here before for "High Tea". It was different but nice as it has changed hands since my last visit. Good changes and disappointing changes. The server was charming and very attentive. We did ask for different seating after the first attempt and they were very accomodating. The food was delicious, the tea hot and cozy. I will definitely be returning. Reservations are necessary and you must ask or will be offered 1st or 2nd seating times. And, if you want to be seated next to the many fireplaces you need to specify or inquire

Utterly fantastic. I was here for a wedding. The crew setup with vendors very quickly especially since there was a rainstorm. The rooms were so cozy I thought I was staying in a colonial museum. The artwork was amazing, but of course subjective. My bed was soft and smooth. The shower faucet had a trick to it but nothing at all crazy. I can't say enough good things about B&T.

We were at The Bee and Thistle Inn this past weekend as the entertainment for Max and Anne’s wedding. We worked with Tosh and her team. The food and service was phenomenal! They were so easy to work with and the flow of the wedding couldn’t have been smoother! The grounds outdoor is beautiful for any ceremony, cocktail and reception. Dinner was held indoors. Easily accessible off the highway but quiet and quant once there. You're greeted by friendly faces and treated with great respect. Tosh, who runs the wedding and functions, is so great to work with. Jack, the bartender, makes great drinks and is great to hang out with. I highly recommend stopping in for a drink, bite to eat, or a stay for the night.

The Bee + Thistle Inn is one of my favorite venues for a wedding or event. The staff is so skilled and kind and treat you wonderfully. They are responsive and think of every detail. As a photographer I love the space so much. The area by the river for your ceremony is so calming and lovely and the swing is one of my favorite spots for photos! Super cute. Rain or shine The Bee is a great spot. I highly recommend them!

Had a wonderful anniversary stay. Nice room, they arranged for flowers in our room. Had a wonderful dinner quiet corner table, nice time in the lounge after. Perfect night. Thanks to Tosh for organizing it all. We will be back.
