"Little Bee Thai doesn’t hold back on the spicy kick. The fresh and authentic fare will please all those looking for heat — and lots of it. In a small, simple, and straightforward space, the atmosphere is somewhat lacking, but the flavor isn’t. Order any of the curries." - MATADOR_NETWORK

Not bad for Thai in Asheville. Shrimp Taco was weird but not bad. Chicken dumpling was hearty. Spring roll was missing tofu or something, especially for the price. Drunken noodle wasn’t bad. Simple ordering at counter and seat yourself. Personally, I think if prices are over $15 for a plate, you should be served.

I love Bee Thai! I've seen some poo-pooing about the counter service, but I think that's a good move in such a small restaurant. It would be awkward if there were servers trying to weave through the tables! I've only ever ordered to-go, but the dining area is cute, and there are about 4 barstools as well. I also ALWAYS get the Pad Thai! One day I will try the Drunken Noodle, but what can I say -- if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The owner is super nice, and the staff are always friendly. It's rarely very loud, and they have a great drink selection, including Burial Surf Wax on tap! I also highly recommend the Thai Tea. Bonus points for paper straws!

Excellent little Thai place. Had the Larb Gai, Spicy Basil and Curry Noodle (khoa soi) and everything was very good. The spicy basil had such deep flavor it was excellent. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Spice trays and utensils at the bar, self serve. Clean and quiet. Will be going back and would recommend giving it a try!

***UPDATE*** Sooo, we all know this happens with Asheville restaurants. I did lunch today, and it was “mmmhh”. The wanton soup was “ok”. The Pad Thai was, again, “ok”, maybe a 6 on a 10 scale. So, I think it is import to remember this, even a favourite restaurant can have an off moment. … Certainly, try this restaurant…. But your mileage/experience may vary. I am guessing you will have a 7’ish, experience. Take Care… I have only “dined in”. I consider myself a Pad Thai snob… this is really good Pad Thai! The drunken noodle is my favorite … this is a must try when in Asheville.

Great low-key spot for Thai food. Came here with a large group (6 people) and it was lovely. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table. The Red Curry and Chicken Pad Thai were both excellent. Perfect spice level — spice adds flavor but does not overwhelm your palate. Excellent food. The fresh rolls (rice paper and veggies) were underwhelming, and the way they cut them make them harder to eat; it would be nice if they added shrimp to it. 10/10 would go back! Very cool spot.

We visited this place on July 4th. Everything we ordered was delicious. Tofu was fresh and soft . Pannag curry was very tasty!! We ended up going again the next day for dinner 😍 10/10 for everything!

We stopped in for a late lunch on Wednesday and it wasn’t too busy. We were lucky to get a parking spot in front. We had the Pad Thai with chicken and yellow curry with chicken. Both were very good, and my wife says that the curry might be her new favorite. Our food was delivered quickly. The staff was pleasant and efficient. They have a good selection of draft beers as well as bottles and cans. There is a good amount of indoor seating, and there is a large outdoor seating area.

Place was small, but had outside seating which was nice. Had dinner here with two friends. I ordered spicy pork basil with eggs added to it and my two friends ordered red curry and spicy see ew noodles. I’ve had better pork basil dishes. I’d give it 2/5. The eggs made it better. I tried my friends dishes too. The see ew noodles were alright. Not much flavor to it. You can definitely taste the spice in it for sure! I give it a 2/5 also. The red curry was actually the best one out of the dishes we ordered. Flavor was on point, spice level was there even without adding extra spice in there. I recommended no spice to non spice eaters. I give it a 4/5. I also ordered veggie spring rolls for us to try. That was good. 3/5! You can purchase bottled drinks or alcohol or get a cup with water for free. Then service was fast and friendly. I probably would not return here. But hey, you gotta try different places to know what’s to your liking!
