It was chosen by accident but what a lucky choice!!! Amazing and friendly staff made the Sunday dinner very special. All that we have tried was absolutely delicious- fine sirloin steak fresh Irish lobster, funny chicken wings… truly amazing! Highly recommended and I would definitely visit it again!

Google
The staff were very friendly and welcoming — we were promptly seated and well looked after throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious and lived up to expectations. However, I was disappointed to see a service charge added to the bill for a table of two. On checking the menu on the way out, it clearly states that a gratuity is only automatically added for tables of five or more. While we’re happy to tip for good service, it felt a bit misleading in this case. Overall, a great dining experience, but a clearer and more consistent approach to the service charge would be appreciated.

Google
Absolutely great experience. We had brunch booked for two today. From an entry welcoming, though service, food quality, and presentation - all deserve 5 stars. Staff is one of the strongest sides of this place. Each staff member who had been looking after us went above and beyond to meet our dietary limitations, very attentive and discrete. Also surprised me with little birthday treat!!! Very nice and sweet gesture. Thank you. We ordered a few starters and deserts. Very tasty, beautifully served. Another place on our list to Visit Again. Thank you, Beef and Lobster. Well done. I &M.

Google
I had wanted to try this place for a while and it didn't disappoint. I had the sirloin steak, cooked medium-rare just how i like it, with farlic butter. I shared garlic bread and chips with my friend. From the friendly service provided by Angela to the nice food and cocktails I'm definitely coming back!

Google
The staff was amazing on this night ! Super friendly and helped us took a group photo. It was one of our favorite meals of our trip. The only item we didn’t like much was the fried squid. Everything else from the rib to the lobster was very well prepared. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Google
Outstanding! Angelae is so helpful and friendly. The food was just delicious. We felt like in heaven when Sebastian was cooking. Try all, you can't make a wrong choice. Lobster, Octopus, Prawns, Duck all fantadtic. Thanks a lot Sebastian ans Angelae 🙏❤️

Google
What a find. We both had short rib of beef with selection of sides. Everything cooked to perfection. This place is an absolute must. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere, rest rooms are also very fresh. luiz our waiter was fantastic, as were all the other staff. Very talented chef !

Google
Since it was a quiet Sunday we were able to sit on a table an hour earlier than our booking. The staff were very friendly. My unlimited Bellini got refilled even before I finish whatever is in my glass, which makes the promo super worth it. We got Wev and Julia, they were very attentive and would check on us from time to time. The food is delicious, place is cozy and the staff are just amazing. They even gave me a serving of ice cream when they learned it was my birthday. It was overall, a great experience and we’re looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
I came here on a whim during my trip to Dublin, and overall I enjoyed it. The place was pretty empty when I came in, so I was a little hesitant to try it, but it meant quick service and attention. Everyone was nice and generally pleasant, so no complaints on service. The place was pretty clean but not decorated in any significant way, very typical/regular restaurant atmosphere. The food is not spectacular in terms of it can't be replicated elsewhere, but it was quite good, and I found everything I tried to be cooked well. Also, I found everything very affordable and not as expensive as you may think. Overall, I would say this is a reliable spot for a good meal.

Yelp
Bottomless brunch! Came here with a rezzy for a late Saturday lunch, and it was pretty empty. We got the bottomless mimosas and you could alternate and choose between mimosas or Bellinis, their Bellinis were so good. We got the salt n pepper squid and lobster croquettes for apps, both were incredible. And for my main, I got the surf and turf burger which was also fire. They were diligently topping off our drinks and made sure we didn't leave sober LOL. Overall great spot for reasonably priced food/bottomless + good options!

Mike N.

Yelp
Steak's sear was way overdone. And it didn't appear to be seasoned at all. There was an automatic 10% gratuity for our group of 4. When we went to split the check they added another 10% to our charge which we didn't realize until later. Complete disappointment.

Yelp
This was a very nice little restaurant we had to make reservations because it was so crowded and booked the previous day. So we knew we had to get in and try it. We were not disappointed. The staff that served us was amazing the food was great and needless to say we were the last ones in the building. We took shots all night which I believe $450 for all the food and drinks was well spent..a must try thank me later

Yelp
Wandered into this restaurant as we were walking around the Temple Bar area. Seated right away. We had the Pork Belly and Duck Wings to start. Excellent! All 3 of us had Steaks for dinner. Very good! Definitely recommend having dinner here.

Yelp
Wow. I was skeptical at first but the surf and turf (grilled octopus) was perfect. Balsamic salad was great, and the fries (chips) were just delicious. I am impressed with the quality of food. The staff was very friendly and even with a reservation when we showed up a little early they had no problem getting us a table. Well done.

Kelly F.

Yelp
We stopped for lunch at Beef and Lobster before our tour at Trinity College. Our waitress (Angela) was very nice personable. My husband enjoyed the ribeye steak he ordered, but we both found the surf-n-turf lobster roll to be delicious! We'll definitely be back when we return to Dublin.

Yelp
By far some of the best food in Dublin. Very much a culinary experience with how they put a new spin on surf & turf. Miracle that this place was not busy. Without a doubt would have returned for numerous meals if I wasn't leaving the following day.

Matt Z.

Yelp
Was visiting Dublin with some friends and we came across this place. The food here was so good we ended up returning 2 more times! Recommend their lobster roll and cheesecake! Hosts were also a godsend for accommodating our large group!

Yelp
Came here for my birthday dinner this week and was blown away! Everyone was so kind and attentive. Our waitress, Angelique, was sooooo lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. Great food for a great price!!

Yelp

Yelp
I don't normally make restaurant reviews but I had a terrible experience with my family and wanted to document it. Got there for dinner. Server asked us what water we wanted...asked for "regular tap water" instead it came as a bottle (that we were charged 4.50euro for). Ordered the following - Kids chicken strips with fries - it was normal and no complaints from the 5 year old. Octopus and steak surf and turf - steak was cooked rare as requested and was good but the Octopus was bland and chewy. Mussels and prawn with chorizo sausage - asked for the sausage on the side and dish made not spicy so my daughter could eat it. It came spicy with hot pepper flakes sprinkled throughout the top. I informed to the waitress. she said she would take it off the bill and order something else to replace it. Lobster roll (to replace the mussels) - which we took to go. Later on the waitress while paying for the bill she informed us that her manager did not approve of taking the mussels off the bill. Surprise! Offered ice cream to my daughter as a sorry. Also saw the bottled water charge there. Surprise x2 Was not happy about the situation. Not something I want to deal with while on vacation. All in it was an expensive 80 euro dinner for 2 and 5 year old. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Amazing meat dinners! The beef Wellington and rib eye were very tasty! The meats were cooked to a perfect medium rare. The meats also had a lot of juice and was very tender. The side of french fries were pretty good. Ask for the garlic butter sauce - dip everything in it! The sauce made the food! The price was a bit expensive as sides were additional. However, if you compare this type of food with other restaurants in Temple Bar, this place is great. There was no wait, phenomenal service, and the place was recommended by locals.

Yelp
Friendly staff... squeezed us in on a busy night. The food was delicious, though the wait was about an hour. It was a Friday night, so that was to be expected. We had a great view of city hall. The clientele was lively and the overall vibe was energetic. I enjoyed it and would go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and very friendly server! We enjoyed drinks, appetizers and a delicious main dish! We were thanked for coming as we left. Everyone was very friendly to us American girls!

Yelp
When you look at Beef and Lobster's menu, everything sounds amazing. When you actually start eating, it tastes... ok. We had: - Beef and Lobster Burger: This mashup sounded interesting and tasted good! Huge burger and a generous amount of lobster too. Also good presentation on a hot "tray" - Beef Wellington: Tasty for the first few bites, but then dried up really fast. Plus the plate wasn't hot enough so it got a bit cold the longer my wife ate it. - Chocolate Brownie Sundae: Not as chocolatey as I wanted. The toffee popcorn was a nice touch. Final points: - Service was attentive and pretty quick - Portions were fine though price was expensive

Yelp
Where to start? The place was buzzing when we arrived on Saturday evening for our reservation. We were seated promptly close to the bar. Over the bar were some funky lights which were turned to the max so sunglasses indoors would not have been out of place. On being asked, the lights were turned down to a more convivial level. However, minutes later they were turned up again and the see-saw with the lights continued throughout the meal destroying any ambiance the place otherwise might have had. The meal was pretty average and expensive for what it was but we could definitely see it due to the aforementioned 'floodlights'. One of the group ordered sourdough bread as a starter but was given a baguette instead. My calamari starter was chewy and tasteless as was my surf and turf main with a few miserable prawns floating sadly in an undistinguished sauce beside a puny helping of steak whose only saving grace was being cooked medium-rare as ordered. This would have been a one-star but for our excellent server, Jade, who was attentive and cheerful throughout. I won't be back though.

Yelp
Very good in all areas. Great value - EUR110 for four beers, two starters, two mains, three sides and one dessert - particularly since it is Temple Bar or at worst Temple Bar adjacent. The food was great, the service prompt. I might recommend booking, it was very busy when we were there at 6pm.

Yelp
Staff were amazing the food was amazing, one of the best meals I've had out in Dublin city in a long time.

Derek B.

Yelp
The Mussels, Prawns, and Chorizo were amazing. Almost walked by, and we're glad we didn't. Service was excellent.

Yelp
I have never experienced the level of disrespect that me and my party endured at this establishment. When we arrived we were seated promptly because there were many open tables. Food was good, but you had to pay for water, bread, and any sides that you would want, which you would, because the portions aren't large. Two out of four people in the party ordered cocktails (a tad overpriced, but they were fine). At the end of the meal, as we were finishing our drinks and just finished paying, a manager approached our table and asked us why we hadn't left yet. Immediately embarrassing us. He then said we had been told MULTIPLE times that we needed to leave the table by 7 for other reservations. This was at 7:01. We had never been told or even approached. We were simply finishing drinks and getting ready to go. So embarrassing, will not return. Would not recommend. Never got an apology. Upset.

Yelp
Visiting from Los Angeles and ate here are first night in Dublin. Food was great and the staff was really friendly. The best part of the meal was the desserts. Lemon meringue tart with raspberry sorbet and lemon curd was refreshing and delicious. The apple crumble with vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce was perfection. Sadly I only got a few bites of that one because my husband gobbled it up. Definitely would recommend for dinner!
google avatar

Yelp
I had a great brunch here with friends back in September. The mimosas were delicious and the waitress was very attentive - we always had our glasses filled on time! The food was very tasty and definitely great value for money with the bottomless mimosas. One thing I would say is that I didn't really like the interior of the restaurant, it felt more like a cafeteria, but again this is personal taste. I will be coming back here again!

Yelp
This is one of the smallest menus I have ever seen, literally, it's printed on a business card! But with there are only 4 options, if it fits, why not! I had my first ever lobster roll here and have to say I'm very taken with them. There are 2 meat and 2 lobster dishes to choose from and a meal of the day. I couldn't bring myself to order a full lobster, but my roll was tasty and the sides excellent. They do a spicy coleslaw with pomegranate seeds and cashew nuts and it'd divine. They have really friendly staff and an extensive drinks menu so you can relax after your meal, which won't break the bank when every dish is €22 Décor is cute too, well laid out and not too noisy, no having to roar over the table at your dining companion here!

Megan O.

Yelp
My friends and I have eaten here on occasion since it's close to where we visit and each time we go I ask myself "why?". I've tried a variety of things on the menu and it either tastes like the butter garlic sauce, old fish, or somehow nothing at all. The highlight of the meal was the overpriced cocktails we downed while waiting an hour for our tasteless sub-par meals.

Yelp
I had really high hopes for this place after being to Cleaver East. Service was not great. We did arrive early and the host was pleasant enough but then the server didn't realise we were still waiting on menus and dealt with two other tables that had arrived after us before I got her attention. She didn't realise cos she'd only just started her shift. A little bit of better team communication wouldn't go amiss. So the four main menu items really are on a business card and there are also menus on the walls along with a surf n turf special for €35 but you still need to see the drinks menu. I liked the decor. We were sat at a table that's supposed to seat three. I wouldn't like to have a third person at that table. Sardines come to mind. To the food. I ordered the Beef Wellington with sides of sweet potato fries and Mexican slaw. I got it pink. You're not given an option for sauce (although I assume you could ask?) Red wine gravy comes with this dish. I got to try the pepper sauce that came with the rib eye that Sean ordered. The Wellington was FAB. The beef was cooked just as I wanted it and I liked the duxelles that was between the pastry and the beef. The sweet potato fries were nicely seasoned. I did like the slaw too. The Wellington is €22 and came with the two sides which I thought was a good price. For dessert I ordered the Oreo cheesecake with lemon curd. It was a deconstructed cheesecake with just a little hint of lemon. It was decent but I've had better cheesecake elsewhere. Their focus is definitely on the 4 main items. We ordered a coffee each but they only heard us order one so only one arrived. It was OK as I was still nursing the glass of red wine :) I think there are still some teething issues given that it's not open that long. Having said that I actually do want to go back as I want to try their lobster roll!

Yelp
Initially we thought this place looked very promising, and had pretty fair prices so my girlfriend and I came in for dinner. The drinks were the most expensive of all other bars in the area. I had the Rib eye steak my girlfriend had the lobster. Both were OK but nothing to write home about. What I did not like was that they charged for water (without telling us there was a fee) and same for the bread! Why would they charge for bread? And the fact they don't tell you is quite shady. Lastly they also charge for a service fee! We were not advised nor did we see anything anywhere stating they impose this charge that we have no idea what it was for. No other place we have eaten at charged this BS fee. I would NOT recommend this place at all. Thumbs down.
google avatar

Sean G.

Yelp
Brunch was an an improvement. The service still stiff but the food was good and eggs cooked to perfection. Bottomless mimosas were good but not as topped up as Cleaver East. Sweet potato fries carry a 2e supplement and the 2 course deal does not extend to desert so be warned.

Parima S.

Yelp
Totally disappointed- mediocre food considering the high price. The portions were very small! Even my child who does not eat a lot could eat 2 or 3 of the dishes. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone and will not be returning when I bring my family to Dublin. Would give 0 stars if possible.
google avatar

Dara T.

Yelp
First time and pleasantly surprised. The burger was really big and put together well with great quality meat. Came out medium rare too which is always a plus for me. The sides were perfect too. Only downside was the service was a bit slow. We were waiting quite a while for our food.

Brian A.

Yelp
I was severely disappointed by both the service and the food here. My wife and I have been on vacation in Europe for about 2 weeks, finding many great restaurants during our time here. I cannot say this establishment in any way measured up to the standards that were set by previous restaurants. The waitress who served us had a horrible attitude and only checked on us very rarely despite long wait times. The steak was a bit dry and bland, which was outrageous considering the price. We will not be coming back.
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
We loved our experience! Sat by the front window, had an amazing server; who also happened to be the managers I believe his name is Josip. Lobster roll was delicious (I wanted to take a picture but I ate it all). We had laughs with Josip and he gave us 5 star services recommend!!!
google avatar

Gar B.

Yelp
I'm not sure why Beef & Lobster isn't more popular, the food is fantastic. There are 5 options, Beef Wellington, Steak, Whole Lobster, Lobster Roll (all €22) and surf and turf (€35) - all come with two sides. I ordered the beef Wellington which was cooked to perfection and came with a delicious nut slaw and some fries. The guys ordered the lobster roll and the steak. Both looked delicious, especially the lobster roll which I'll definitely try next time. Service was good, but the drinks prices were a little steep. I stuck to the beer as the wine prices seemed high. We all finished the evening off with Nespresso Martinis and shared an Oreo cheesecake, I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Senia H.

Yelp
I had the lobster roll and burger mashup. Got food poisoning as a side. Really wasn't ideal since I was in Dublin visiting my boyfriend and my time there was limited; I wasn't back to normal until a whole week after I got home. The beef patty was really insignificant, but the burger was alright. there was barely any lobster in there. My boyfriend was not too impressed with his steak either. It's not really an overpriced place, you just gotta be aware that for that price, you're not going to get gourmet. The fries were good. Staff seemed kind of distracted. Music was too loud. Sorry for being so negative, but please don't poison your customers.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Good food. Decent service. Would consider returning but definitely check out the lobster burger if you do. You won't be disappointed
google avatar

Nate H.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious from start to finish. The ribeye was cooked to medium rare perfection and the pepper sauce was so good, I was drizzling it on my crispy fries. Even the slaw was uncommonly good. Also tried the lobster roll, the brioche was delicately toasted and an ideal vehicle for the tender lobster. I savored every single bite and cleaned my plates. Service was friendly, quick, and attentive. Decor was hip and clean, music selection was a groovy soul-style playlist. I wouldn't have changed a thing.
google avatar

Brianne W.

Yelp
This restaurant was our "splurge" meal while on holiday in Ireland. We had great appetizers (duck pâté) and our steaks were cooked to a perfectly warm pink center. This is just a personal preference, but I was not a fan of my beef Wellington. The pastry was not cooked through and it tasted like there was tarragon in it? Would not order again. All in all, the service and atmosphere were great! Spent $150 on two apps, two mains, 3 sides, a dessert, two cocktails, and a beer. How could you complain about that?
google avatar

Kelly H.

Yelp
The ambiance is beautiful but, it's a bit over priced for what you get. And the staff seemed annoyed with us because we asked to see a menu before we committed to getting a table...I don't think that's an unfair request? Also, upon paying for my over priced steak and prawns the server asked me if I wanted to add a tip and which percentage, which led me to feel obligated to tip her and subsequently bad tipping her the lowest option of 10%. Maybe it's custom here but I think that decision should be the private choice of the paying customer and not announced in front of the whole table. Wouldn't go back. Mediocre overpriced food.

Yelp
This place is has a very central location so snag a seat by a window. The restaurant has an nice rustic vibe and accent colors that make the quaint location pop a bit. Our server was very helpful and knowledgeable. The staff was running like a well oiled machine and everyone helping each other. As for the food. We had the duck wings, the 30 Day Angus New York Strip. PRO TIP: Garlic Sauce with the strip is a go! And for dessert the apple crumble with ice cream. The duck wings at first may sound a bit off, but trust me they are delicious and come on a longer bone shape. The strip was cooked to perfection and the garlic sauce added to the flavors. Now not sure where I found room for dessert but the lord works in mysterious ways. The Apple crumble was just fresh and packed with flavors. PRO TIP: They have bottomless BRUNCHHHHHH (Fri-Sunday) for those brunch enthusiast. This place is was a nice experience overall. But since it's in Temple Bar comes with the price tag. #Slainte

Yelp
If you like being squeezed in beside other diners while you WAIT for a bad cocktail, cold fries and weird looking beef then this is your place! I'm trying to work out where my money went. Wasn't the food, wasn't a decent bartender or a chef, or a nice looking place. I don't imagine this place lasting too long in Dublin.
google avatar

Noah P.

Yelp
This place had amazing street appeal and they were very friendly. Overall the atmosphere was good. The food was good but no the best I've ever had. I felt it was overpriced for what you got but still worth the visit.
google avatar

Richard K.

Yelp
My friend and I stopped in for brunch. We both ordered a few of the smaller plates. The crab cake fell a little short. I didn't care for the sliders. However we both loved the bruschetta dish which we ordered as an afterthought. They were generous with the bottomless mimosas and service was friendly although a little slow.

Alyssa B.

Yelp
Such amazing food!! We ordered steak, prawns and the lobster roll, all of which were prepared perfectly. And the appetizers were delicious! A little small, so if you're ordering for multiple people you may want to get more than one to share. Service was prompt--we'll definitely be back in the future!

Shane L.

Yelp
The Best Steak I have ever had!!! This place is really special, its not open long but it is very hard to get a table and i now know why. A very simple menu executed perfectly and my oh my that steak was just melt in your mouth deliciousness. My other half opted for whole grilled 1.5lb lobster and for only €22 it must be the best value lobster in Europe and she was well happy. Can't wait to go back the next time I'm in Dublin. Great staff, great vibe and great food, perfect!
google avatar

Terry H.

Yelp
Stay away from lobster. Over cooked and poor quality. I wouldn't go back. Service and steaks were ok. Sides were best part of meal.

Karyn C.

Yelp
Make a reservation. Bottomless mimosas are worth it, they come around constantly to refill your glass so they truly are bottomless. Do NOT sit by the window during the brunch, had to move tables because of the sun and it still didn't help. Amazing food, menu and service. Overall worth it, but avoid the windows.

Frank R.

Yelp
My wife and I ordered the surf and turf after about a 20 minute wait at the table without even being served water. The steak was tough and overcooked. The Lobster had a truly foul smell and made us both sick shortly after leaving. I would not recommend wasting your time or money.

Bryan B.

Yelp
Great service and perfectly prepared food at a very good price. Definitely recommend this place.
