Google
It's a steakhouse so we were ready for a blast. Blast didn't happen as it was cold and tasteless. Very unfortunate. Nice team and good wine but it does not make up for the bland experience.

Had a great meal here. The dinner was very good, but felt a bit overpriced. We got a great bottle of wine that we had before and the mark up on it was about 350%. We also ordered the ribeye for 2 and shared. It was cooked excellently and delicious. Staff was extremely friendly and polite. Overall, it was a great dining experience and we found making a reservation here was a good decision.

Google
Went there based on online reviews. It's a small place and staffed lightly, but I was helped as soon as I was seated. Ordered a very good onion soup, and a filet that was cooked perfectly. All entrees come with a side, the mushrooms I ordered felt like they were meant for 2 people though. My only criticism would be that they needed another staff member as I felt like I was interrupting everytime I needed something.

Google
Very nice restaurant, friendly staff and very good food.. the bone marrow starter is a must; any meat dish with the sauces and side dishes are good option; “la profiterole” for dessert is a must! a bit expensive, but overall very good experience.

Google
A great choice of cuts of beef, perfectly cooked. Cocktails are amazing and attentive service. The only downside is the space between the tables, you are basically having lunch-dinner with your neighbors...

Great steak place! Small, quiet, friendly staff. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in town.

Come here every time I'm in Paris! Staff is very friendly and super helpful in finding the right cut for you. The sides are all amazing, and the wine list is extensive. Everyone speaks English (a mark against it maybe?), but that is very helpful for me! The bar downstairs is an interesting stop for a cocktail after dinner. Seems like a late-night type bar, but drinks are actually good, if a bit sweet.

This is definitely a great place for meat lovers! Waiters are friendly, setting is nice and table are far apart from each other. The meat is good and the sauces are mind-blowing! I recommend booking as the place isn't too big and you may not end up having to wait. Only drawback is the food is a tad pricey, but otherwise worth it!

Yelp
American Tourist here. Solid steak, price actually includes a side which was a nice surprise. In terms of upscale steakhouses this place lands squarely in the middle. Beef quality was above average and the steak was cooked properly. Service was ok but slow (which seems to be a theme in Paris). A solid choice if you are in the area but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

Yelp
We started our night at the speakeasy that is conjoined with the place and had bad to awful service. The restaurant is worse. We came around 10:30 pm and the only kind person in the whole staff, the bus boy, told us we would be addressed shortly but recommended reservations in the future or to tell the bartenders at the speakeasy for a table. We weren't even offered a table because the people down there are actually the some of the rudest people in Paris. We were told we would have a table in five min after waiting ten minutes to be addressed. They have maybe three waiters who spend a good thirty minutes to even more arrogant people the menu. I actually heard, "miso is a wonderful taste from Asia," as one of the female waiters explained how their tartare was prepared. Thoroughness makes sense but arrogance and pretentiousness does not. We then waited fifteen minutes outside not five for a table. If I wasn't so hungry and tired, I would have gone elsewhere. My boyfriend went and asked to be seated and we were given the table corner that had been empty the whole time. What the hell? We ordered the tartare and a filet with Mac n cheese and duck fat fries as sides. They were sold out of the filet so she offered an alternative. I like my meat well done with no signs of blood. My French boyfriend made it really clear. She said this alternative was great for well done lovers. The meat options had a sauce of choice. We both opted for the shallot sauce. It was good but nothing special. My steak came out thick and bloody as hell. I cut it in half and asked her to recook it. She brought it back still bloody and said it was the best she could do. Not cool. They could have at the very least butterflied it. The steak was thicker than my fist. What do you mean well done people like it? We had to ask for bread and water. They don't serve tap. Our Mac n cheese was amazing. Fries were nothing special. You can't taste the duck fat and for 5€, I want fat. We ordered the profiterole for 12€ and it was the best damn thing. It was a huge cream puff with dark chocolate ice cream. The cream was amazing. The bus boy drizzled warm chocolate sauce everywhere. It's HUGE too!! Amazing. Sadly the service here is awful and I'll never be back. Our whole meal came out to 74€. She didn't have change for a 100€ bill. Are you seriously telling me you don't have 26€? I didn't leave a tip.

Yelp
Coming from America I have a certain expectation for what a steakhouse should serve and that's not what The Beef Club is about. The Beef Club is different. It's like an "affordable" steakhouse. The cuts really aren't that expensive... Sure, it's more than your local brasserie's steak frites but by American standards it's bizarrely affordable. But, you do get what you pay for. It's not like the steaks are corn fed, aged for 2 months, and cooked in 1200 degree ovens. They're just normal steaks, under-seasoned, cooked somewhere in the ballpark of how you requested it. (I requested medium rare, got medium well. Others requested medium and got rare.) In addition, they don't do fancy things like remember who ordered what. So all the steaks come out and they're yelling "who ordered this? who ordered that?" meanwhile no one remembers which of the 5 kinds of beef they decided on and it's a huge mess. Then the sides came out and they just stuck them random places. I ordered mashed potatoes and vegetables, not sure where the vegetables ended up, I never got any. If you want a lot of steak at a low price, The Beef Club may be for you. For me, I can absolutely cook a far better steak at home. I'd rather do something else for dinner.

Yelp
Loved this place The cuts of meat looked excellent The sides whrre amazing Tried bone marrow which was really good but the presentation of all the food was very nice. Also the ballroom bar downstairs had great drinks and a cool atmosphere whent downstairs after dinner and its not packed with tourists. Definetly a place I will recommend to all my.friends visiting paris

Yelp
Was told to stop by Beef Club while honeymooning in Paris and am glad I did. Would recommend but you should make reservations. Our reservation was for 8:45p and when we arrived, place was empty.... Was thinking I made a mistake, but after getting seated place was filled with no empty seats within a half hour. Nic the sommelier was great as i do not know french wines well. we ordered a bottle of Chateau L'Arrosee and it was wonderful. For steak we shared a plate designed for two. Different cuts than in U.S., but very tender. Bone marrow sauce was also very rich and good. As far as sides, spinach was good, but mac&cheese was a very strong French cheese (not so good) After dinner, go downstairs, great speakeasy mixology bar

Yelp
If you say you loved this place, then you're just straight lying. Just shut this place down. Horrible service and bad management. Waited 30mins to order our food and another 40mins to receive a live cow. Save yourself the trouble and don't even go here. The owner must have more invested in his little bar downstairs or his other restaurant next door. Make that zero stars

Yelp
Try to get an earlier res. they often run out of product, and your choices can be few at 10:30 Great steak, great wine list, like a small scale Morton's almost, same type of a la carte presentation, etc.. Bar downstairs is a gem and a true score

Yelp
Don't come to Paris to seek out this kind of steak...visit a "corn fed" state where this type of food is common, and a million times better. 2 horrible, dry, tough steaks, one decimated lobster tail, unfortunately named mushrooms ("essence of escargot" made me think of pureed snails--yuk!), and barely-there veggies were how my husband and i lost $150 to the worst doing experience we have ever had. one 25 year old server audaciously told me as i was ordering" it is not the tenderness of the steak but the flavor". well that was soon evident since knife #1 was useless. sadly, knife #2 cut off a bit of dry, crumbly, "steak" which tasted like aged cardboard.. SO HORRIBLE. i have heard that the chef has some credibility as a butcher for fancy burger places around town, but we sadly chose the steaks, so i cannot comment.

Yelp
This place was soooo bad, got the runs after only eating very little of the bad food. STAY AWAY From THIS PLACE. Soda was expired, service sucked

Yelp
Overpriced, with arrogant staff. The food and atmosphere here isn't that bad, but if I compare with other steakhouses around the globe, this restaurant ends up being mediocre. In addition to that I must add that the attitude of the staff is very arrogant... No fun at all, and never again

Yelp
I absolutely loved this place. We did not make reservations and had to sit at the bar. I was actually so happy we didn't get a table. We had the perfect bartender and a perfect night. We were able to order food and he offered his recommendations. We enjoyed the food and service. I will definitely come here every time I'm in Paris. Please make reservations ! The place is tiny and crowded and fills up fast. The speakeasy down stairs is perfect! Loved the ambiance and the punch bowl was delightful.

Yelp
Don't come here! This is the worst dinner I had in Paris. We sent the ribeye back because it came out completely moo-ing..we could not even cut into the steak the first time and the the second time it was so chewy we could not even finish our bite. The service was also terrible and it took 40 minutes to get our dinner and no one came to check up on us during the entire dinner. The best part was the sides of fries and pumpkin spaghetti. We are massive meat eaters so this was completely disappointing. We complained about the ribeye and service and only got the ribeye refunded. Evidently the manager did not believe me and told me that I was right that the meat was chewy and he did try a piece. Why would anyone lie about this especially if you are foodie? There was no courtesy drink or any offer to make us whole for our terrible meal. Ironically, this was a local recommendation and was the worst of all of the 8 nights of dinners in Paris! Note: I wanted to give this a zero star, but was forced to give it a one in order to post the review.

Yelp
I rarely review restaurants. I have eaten steak all over the world and I thought I had tasted it all but The Beef Club was extraordinary. We arrived without a reservation to a packed restaurant and was very politely told that there was a bar next door we could wait at while a table became available. The bar next door, The Ball Room, was a hidden gem, amazing ambiance, great drinks and friendly bar staff. To top it off they played classic american music that made me feel a bit at home. After a couple of very good drinks the host came and found us and said he had a place available at the bar in the restaurant. We decided to do it as we were very hungry. Once sat at the bar we received great service from the bar tender who helped us to understand the menu both with wine and food. We ordered two steaks, the rib eye and a filet with side orders of mushrooms and frites. The food arrived and it was AMAZING, the ribeye was the best steak I have ever had, the mushrooms and frites each impressed and combined with fantastic service this is a restaurant I will always remember and miss not being able to visit on a regular basis. If your in Paris and you like steak, go to The Beef Club, but stop at the bar next door first for drinks.
