We had the best experience in this restaurant in Milano. The food was amazing and the Service staff super friendly. Great wine menu, we wish we had even more time that evening to enjoy all the different opportunities. Hope to come back soon! We recommend a reservation.

(Monday, 17th Feb 2025) We have travelled the Bernina Express from Switzerland into Milan, Italy and the Beefbar was specially chosen as part of our 30th wedding anniversary. The service started off well with the young waitress and the manager, however, we were quite disappointed with the food. The first problem started with the main course, the steaks were nicely cooked, however, I bit into something very hard from the seasonal vegetables, which I thought was sand or small stones, further inspection shows it was some hard shell from the nuts (was later told it was chestnuts). I placed these hard "bits" to the side of the plate, and informed the waiter, who was very apologetic, I guessed he must have raised it with the kitchen, as he explained it must have been the chestnuts shell (I thought they were walnuts shell, as they were very hard like stones). I mentioned that we didn't want to make a fuss about it, as I have already finished most of my main course. The second problem was when we ordered the fruit platter to finish off for the evening, it took almost 15 minutes before it was served, we thought they were growing the fruit. When the fruit platter was being served, the waiter accidentally dropped something, which my wife later said it was the "Happy Anniversary" card that was supposed to be on the plate as a surprise. Again, we didn't make a fuss as it was getting late and we had a plane to catch the following morning. However, the worst part was my wife showed me some of the fruit seems rotten, or mould (I didn't believe it at first as the restaurant was dimly lit, but I have shone light from my mobile phone and it seems on the red currants and raspberries, as pictured). As mentioned, we were already quite disappointed from the experience and needed to leave. For such a prestigious establishment, I would have thought the standard and quality of the food to be much higher. We have paid €190 for our meal, it's certainly a memory to have, but for the negative reasons.

We were craving some steak and decided to pay a visit, and luckily they were able to offer a spot before closing for the afternoon! The atmosphere was bustling yet elegant, a great hang out spot with amazing food. We got the double portion wagyu which was to die for, the quality of the beef top tier, very fragrant and perfectly marbled. It was also perfectly seared. The mash potatoes were also very impressive, rich and creamy, resembling more of a sauce, if you will. My mum loved the caesar salad in particular, the sauce was flavourful and the veggies were fresh. The beef tartar sando was nice, but we’d skip out on the beef bar sauce, it wasn’t our favourite. Overall, I’d definitely visit again, a little on the pricey side but worth every penny!

I recently visited Beefbar in Milan and had a mixed experience. I tried a variety of dishes, including bao buns, quesadillas, spinach salad, Caesar salad, miso black beef, lemon chicken, rice, and mashed potatoes. While the flavors and presentation were generally impressive, a few things missed the mark. The most disappointing part was the steak. Despite requesting it well-done, it was served medium-rare, which was frustrating, especially for a restaurant that prides itself on its meat. This oversight felt out of place for an establishment of this caliber. Overall, while the ambiance and some dishes stood out, the service and attention to detail didn’t meet my expectations. Hopefully, they’ll be more attentive to guest preferences in the future.

Really solid venue for lunch, if you're in a rush they'll get you in and out in no time. Good, simple food and I was pleasantly surprised to find our bottle of sparkling water was actually included in the lunch menu.

Meat lovers, this is the place for you. This is a restaurant that focuses on meat and most of their dishes feature some kind of meat. It’s a very trendy looking place with great food and great service. We had the super kale salad and gyoza for our starters. The salad was very fresh with some avocados and toasted Parmesan. The gyoza had a very good meat flavor and came with some say sauce. For my main I had the fillet mignon with their beefbar signature sauce. The meat was very tender and cooked great. Their sauce kind of tastes like a cafe de Paris sauce if you’ve ever had that, it’s a buttery herby sauce. They also brought us their house mashed potato which was creamy and thick, delicious. Finally for dessert we had their marbles chocolate bar which was a spongy cake with a slight mocha taste bathed in a delicious crunchy caramel and then covered in a thin layer of chocolate. Overall very good meal!!
