We ordered the most expensive Japanese Wagyu on the menu, as well as Australian Wagyu. In comparison, for a restaurant at this price point, there is still room for improvement—both in service and in the overall food experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent and clearly well thought out. The steaks themselves were very good and met expectations. However, other dishes did not reach the same standard. One major disappointment was the wine recommendation. The wine suggested by the waiter was of poor quality and significantly affected our overall dining experience. At this level, wine pairing and recommendations should reflect professional training and a deeper consideration for the guests’ expectations. Our group of six spent nearly €1,800. For this level of spending, the experience did not fully meet expectations. While the environment is highly recommendable and the steaks are well executed, the overall offering—particularly service, wine selection, and non-steak dishes—needs to reach a higher standard to justify the price.

The only consistent theme here seem to be beef, beyond that it was hard to tell what type of cuisine the restaurant was aiming for. The menu felt a bit unfocused. We had a variety of the street food dishes only, which had some interesting and bold flavours. Service was fine overall, but our waiter didn’t seem very familiar with the menu and had to check back a few times to answer our questions. That said, the space itself is comfortable, stylish, well decorated and with a classy atmosphere that makes for a pleasant dining experience.

We had an incredible dining experience at Beefbar Paris! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The quality of the food is outstanding — every cut of meat was cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. You can really taste the attention to detail and the premium ingredients they use. The staff were just as impressive as the food — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They took the time to explain the menu and made sure every detail of our meal was perfect. The service felt effortless yet refined, adding to the overall elegance of the evening. The atmosphere is chic and stylish without being pretentious, making it a great place for both a special occasion or a relaxed night out. An absolutely outstanding lunch at Beefbar! Every detail was perfect, from the chic atmosphere to the exceptional quality of the food. The Kobe ham was a pure delicacy, melting in the mouth, and the Kobe tacos were simply out of this world, perfectly balanced, rich, and unforgettable. A special mention to Raphael, our server, who made the experience truly remarkable with his warm attention and impeccable service. A world-class dining experience. I can’t wait to come back!

The fondant Wagyu beef was very good and flavorful. Would recommend the beef bar sauce! For dessert, I had the Magic fingers and it was really good as well! Although while paying usually it’s the customer who decides to tip but here the guy asked me if 10% is okay and then later when I saw the amount charged, it was 15%. So watch out for the scammy behavior!

Excellent dinner at Beefbar Paris! The atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, the restored 1938 ceiling it’s breathtaking, the service impeccable, and the quality of the meat truly outstanding. Each cut was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy, and full of flavour with an excellent selection of sides and wines. A small note: the meat was served with a spice and herb rub, which I personally didn’t enjoy , and this wasn’t mentioned on the menu. It would be great if the waiter could point that out when taking the order, so guests can make a more informed choice. We also tried a couple of dishes from the street food menu, and they were simply amazing, beautifully presented and packed with flavour. That said, the overall experience was exceptional a must-visit for anyone who loves great meat and attention to detail.

The staff are friendly and polite. The quesadillas were quite good, about a 9 out of 10, but the black angus bavette and the milk veal center cut were not very tasty. We waited around thirty minutes for those dishes as well. The interior looks great, yet the food does not live up to it.

The food was amazing, the service was very quick, and the atmosphere is perfect/ beautiful! We got the fillets with the beef bar signature sauce. These were phenomenal. We only wished we had a reservation for the next night so that we could do it all over again! My only complaint was that the waiters were not super friendly or personal. We let the waiter know that we were celebrating our engagement that day. We had just been engaged that morning. They didn’t recognize it, or even give a congratulations. High-end restaurants should always lean into sentimental occasions, because it brings back return customers. I even put it in the reservation notes that we were celebrating, and it was never brought up.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been in. Truly so stunning. The history is also really fascinating so I recommend asking or read up before. And I did choose it for that alone. I'm not a huge foodie, I have a stomach condition that tends to take a lot of joy out of eating for me, so I look for ambiance more than anything. We booked an early lunch while on our honeymoon, and I'm so glad we did. It was basically empty. We were given a choice between the "Main Room" or the front room (there is also a bar/lounge area), trust me you want the main room. Because I booked an early time slot we mostly had the room to ourselves. There was only one other table in use (and it turned out to be one of the chefs dining with his family) We both got the same item and we both loved it. I get my steak medium well (sorry lol) and it was a little too pink for me. Before I had to ask our server came back to check and swiftly took it back with no judgement at all. We also both loved our desserts. This is really random, but the women's bathroom smelled incredible. they had a custom candle going that was "tea"scented and it was INCREDIBLE. I stood there smelling it and even took a photo to try to source somthing similar. I fully expected a really pretentious atmosphere but thats not really what we experienced. It was confortable and elegant, but not stuffy. If it helps, I wore a blazer as a top and leather pants with chunky loafers and didn't feel under or over dressed for lunch. We will absolutely be back for dinner on our next trip to Paris but I do reccoend it for lunch to see the Min room in it's full glory. While I have never been there at night, it does seem less vibrant in the evening, and agin i was there for the atmosphere and was pleasantly surprised by the food.

Beefbar has to be one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever been to, the inside is STUNNING. Service is friendly and extremely attentive. I have heard this place gets busy and I would definitely recommend making a lunch reservation as the 2 course lunch menu is a pretty great deal (starter or dessert + main for 39 euros). I had the starter of the day which was a delicious and refreshing salmon crudo, was just a bit small! For my main I had the iconic steak frites, medium rare, covered in the famous beefbar truffle sauce, which was quite delicious and a decent portion! I didn't find the steak to be anything extremely special, however, I would still recommend beefbar for the aesthetic and stellar service.

This has to be honestly the worst steakhouse experience we have ever, every experienced. The appetizers were beyond underwhelming. The steak was the most atrocious, abysmal piece of steak we have ever had. It was a piece of rubber, flavorless chewy piece of rubber that shouldn't be presented for a 150$ cut of meat not even a 10$ cut of meat. The chef should be fired for offering this atrocity when they consider themselves a steakhouse. Ive never been more disappointed in a restaurant in my life. To charge 500$ for this worthless crap is a sham. This place should not be in business.

Beautiful place. The name belies the sophisticated art deco interior of this restaurant. I had the filet mignon and the super creamy potato mash with the special sauce. KFC (large crispy chicken tenders) and smoked beef bao buns were delicious. The sliders (3 different sauces) were interesting but not my favorite. Fries were decent but reminded me of In n Out's - fresh but not crunchy enough for me. The Bordeaux was nice with the meat entrees. The BeefBar signature candy bar dessert was beautiful (see photo). We sat in the gorgeous parlour room (see picture). Service was great.

Gorgeous restaurant. Service was great. I just really wanted to love this place but the food was mid at best and extremely over-priced l. I think the kale salad was my favorite item. The pepper steak dish was good as well but I was kinda of expecting to be blown away. We had 5 other appetizers nothing really stood out.

Chic ambience is where it ends. This over priced eatery doesn't deliver on value nor quality. Had a soppy Spinach salad. A Wagyu steak that was undercooked and over seared. An ironically has some of the poorest desert options in Paris, priced to make them seem better than they actually were. Would not repeat nor recommend.

A Disastrous Birthday Experience at Beefbar Paris - Stay Away! I have never written a review like this, but my experience at Beefbar Paris was so abysmal, it's hard not to warn anyone considering dining here. If you're after pretentious, overpriced mediocrity, Beefbar has you covered. But if you value your time, money, and taste buds, avoid this place like the plague. I chose Beefbar to celebrate my 50th birthday - a milestone that I thought would be accompanied by a special dining experience. When I made the reservation, I clearly stated it was for my birthday. You'd think a restaurant with the word "bar" in its name could at least take note of basic customer requests. But no. Upon arrival, we were not greeted with the warmth or attentiveness you expect at such a price point. In fact, it was obvious that no one had been informed about the special occasion. Instead of a prime table, we were given the worst one in the house, stuck by the kitchen with constant traffic of waiters brushing by - a fabulous birthday setting, don't you think? To make matters worse, I had brought a cake from a renowned bakery - a cake that I had carefully chosen for this special evening. In any real upscale restaurant, such a gesture would be met with accommodation and even a bit of fanfare. But Beefbar? They outright refused to serve it, even though I offered to pay a plating fee. I've dined at high-end establishments all over the world, and never - I repeat, never - have I encountered a place so unwilling to offer basic hospitality. It was only after threatening to walk out that they grudgingly agreed to store it in their fridge for the remainder of the dinner. It was a shocking display of arrogance and lack of customer care. But the horror didn't end there. When the food arrived, it became clear that Beefbar values style over substance - and by style, I mean the kind of faux-luxury that only a clueless establishment can deliver. The starter was a disaster: thick slabs of fish that tasted like they had been frozen for months, lazily defrosted, and served with a sauce so bland, it felt like a punishment. It was supposed to be melt-in-your-mouth delicacy; instead, it was a smelly, chewy insult. The main course? A supposed filet mignon that could only be described as an affront to cattle everywhere. It was stringy, tough, and unmistakably not the cut they claimed it to be. Calling it a scam would be generous. The pièce de résistance of this sham was a side of sauce Béarnaise - for which they had the gall to charge 11 euros. Eleven euros for a tablespoon of what could only be described as a culinary crime. Watery, flavorless, and entirely devoid of any of the rich, velvety texture that defines a good Béarnaise. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Beefbar's prices suggest a premium experience, but what you actually get is culinary fraud served with a side of incompetence. It's one thing to charge premium prices for fine dining, but this place is essentially robbing its patrons while delivering subpar food and shockingly poor service. I cannot emphasize this enough: Beefbar Paris is a waste of money, time, and frankly, respect for your own birthday. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else - anywhere else. This place is an embarrassment to the Paris dining scene and deserves to be shut down. Please, for the sake of your wallet and your stomach, avoid Beefbar at all costs.

Wherever you are traveling this summer, make sure to search and see if they have a Beefbar. Their food is delicious! I have been to the Mykonos and Paris locations, and both have not failed me. The sliders are my favorite. The ambiance in each location is unique and welcoming, adding to the overall dining experience. I can't wait to explore more Beefbar locations in the future!

Meat lovers rejoice! This place does it right with the meat cooked to perfection (well maybe slightly on the rarer side for my preference) but you can always have them cook it a bit more. As I like to say, better undercooked than overcooked by all accounts. Anyways, we had a large group and unfortunately we had a preset menu and were not able to order individually. (I guess it's like more than 8 people?) Service- decent but not very accommodating. I sensed a bit of an attitude when someone asked for the meat to be cooked a bit more and when a drink wasn't so delicious. Drinks- not the best options or taste. They ran out of a couple key ingredients to make the only drink that sounded appeasing. Atmosphere- has a cool vibe/scene Food- yum!! This is where they do get 5 stars. They carve the meat right in front of you and just wow. So tender and delicious. The hamachi crudo was a total standout with the truffle combination.

We'd heard some very negative verbal reviews to counterpoint the five star rating on Yelp, so we set out to be open minded.  You could have knocked me over with a feather when we ended up having an Amazing dining experience from beginning to end! Upon arrival, we were seated without a wait and service continued to be impeccable; out server was informative, helpful, and very friendly. The cocktails (we each enjoyed several) were tasty, inventive, and VERY strong!  I'm glad neither of us was driving ;-) The ambiance was elegant and inviting, which served to raise the whole experiece to the next level.  Last, but not in any way least, each and every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and completely delicious! No question we're going to make a point of returning the next time we're in Paris :-)

My boyfriend and I have been here 2 times now and it has been an amazing experience. The hostess, Thomas, and Ivan were extremely helpful and kind. They explained the meals properly and even gave advice about our stay in Paris. We accidentally stayed an hour past close just talking and having a good time with them. Highly recommended this place for any tourists or Parisians who want fantastic food and service.

Beefbar is the best-looking restaurant I've ever eaten at. This is up there with the Sardine Factory in Monterey, CA. The moment you walk in, the lights are dim, the setting is cozy, bright lit bar that reminds you of a dressing room in Hollywood and then a dining room that is like eating under a green house with gothic décor. It was pretty. The music they were playing was old-school classic jams from Motown which was also a plus! Their service is quick and very keen. They attend to literally everything you need. We started off with their fries topped with black truffle and cheese. This was to die for. It tasted of fresh truffle and none of that fake ingredient type truffle oil. No, these were freshly shaved black truffle. I ordered their wagyu burger with black truffle. The meat was medium rare/rare which was delicious with the melted cheese. The burger was the best I've had from any steak house period. My fiancées truffle ravioli was just ok to be honest. The ravioli was stuffed with minced Kobe beef and truffle but the ravioli itself didn't have a hardy taste and didn't have that flavorful explosion in your mouth. Their bartender is excellent too! He made me a Cuban style mojito which was exactly what I wanted. He made it the real way which was mixing the pure sugar cane with mint leaves to get the oils mixing. He then tops it off with Havana Club white rum and a few cubes. It was the best mojito I've ever had and something I expected from Cuba. I want more!!

This place is a must go. First of all, it's great to have a place that knows how to properly serve the food and the timing of everything. If you're a New Yorker you're going to appreciate the service. Now to the food, the starters are all a must try. Anything with truffle will be a hit. If you're going as a couple I recommend getting a bunch of different starters to try and one entree to share. Leave room for dessert. Trust me. It was so good we are going back tomorrow for brunch. Edit: came back here for brunch. Menu is more limited but some favorites from dinner is still here. Highly recommend the pizza with truffles and Kobe beef.

You are transported back to the glorious days of Art Nouveau in Beefbar's stunning dinning room. Reservations are a must and you'll need to give your credit card number to hold your reservation. Specifically request to be seated inside the main dinning room: you do not want to be seated anywhere else. There are some tables by the bar and also near the front entrance. There is limited outdoor seating as well. Beefbar is located near bougie Champs Elysee just off of famed George V street. Expect very professional staff, a Gorgeous interior, and excellent beef that commands top dollars but worth every euro. The bao buns 29 euros was the standout. Two Huge thumbs up!

AMERICANS BEWARE. Our server ripped us off by telling us that the tip was not included in our meal and shamed us into adding one. She made polite conversation during the meal asking where we were from, which we usually get when traveling and don't think much of it. I asked why they were different from every other restaurant in Europe regarding tipping and she said that it was as a favor to the customers to provide them with flexibility. Total BS, especially since any establishment that allows you to tip doesn't have you tell the server the amount for them to add to the charge - either the receipt shows a spot for it or you can add it on the credit card machine directly. I will be complaining to management and disputing the tip portion of our charge. Very shady. Restaurant is NOT wheelchair accessible, despite what I was told when I called. Many steps to get in. Servers carried me in my wheelchair up the steps. A nice gesture, but nothing I want to do again. Quite dangerous and undignified. Other than that, the food was decent. Nothing spectacular. Overpriced for what it is. Vibe was nice on a late Saturday night (dance music louder than background, but not so loud that you can't talk). Wine list has a few decent Champagne offerings (both selection wise and price wise) but the Bordeaux and Burgundy sections were full of off vintages and very overpriced.

It's a nightmare getting a reservation for a large group for June 10 and calling from the US. I did try emailing and messaging their social media pages too but, they are all automated. I first called at night, then was told to call during the day. When I called during the day, I was told to call during the night. I got the reservation only because I expressed my frustration. I was told I would be receiving an confirmation email which never arrived. When called the next day, they said don't worry your reservation is here. This week I just found out there is a set menu for the number of guests. When I was filling out the form, the date said June 23. I have spoken to them on the phone and e-mail numerous times that the reservation is June 10. At this point, I felt we are not welcomed to this establishment with all the mistakes they are making and cancelled the reservation with beefbar.

The worst dining experience we had in our seven days in Paris! The food was generic and tasteless and the service was awful. The appetizers were lackluster, and the meal just got worse from there. Our main dishes were terrible. We kept asking for extra sauce to make our food taste better, and they had the audacity to charge us 8 euros for each tiny teaspoon of sauce they brought to the table even though we paid over $300 for our meal and drinks for two. With so many amazing places to eat in Paris, please don't waste your time at Beefbar!

Don't judge this place by its previous rating. The food, drinks, and ambiance are great. They offer a wide variety of meats and other great dishes to choose from. Service and ambiance are great as well. Our Cote de Boeuf was very well prepared and all the sides tasted delicious. I highly recommend the Gyoza and Bao bun.

The best steaks and overall best tasting food in Paris! My husband and I went to the Beefbar to have a nice dinner during our honeymoon. The steaks were cooked to perfection! Before visiting the Beefbar, I hadn't eaten steak in 20 years. The waiters spoke great English, and I was able to communicate what I wanted. I had steak, mashed potatoes, truffle fries, and a very nice cocktail. My husband had sea bass (which was delicious), veggies, fries, and a cocktail. EVERYTHING was cooked to perfection. The food wasn't the only thing that was perfect. The staff was friendly, professional, helpful, and patient. The atmosphere was comforting and welcoming, but still classy. The music featured a live dj who played many of my favorite songs. Needless to say, you're missing out on a slice of Paris if you don't visit the Beefbar. Marc, the owner, is very nice and down-to-earth. We will definitely be back at least 2 times when we come back to Paris. Please, do yourself a favor and eat at the Beefbar. You won't regret it.

Disappointing. Came here for Sunday brunch. There are 2 dining rooms. The back one is much prettier, but we were seated in the front room, which is not as nice. It was also very hot that day, and they had the doors open but it didn't help the heat. I felt very rushed to place my order. I ordered the truffle scramble which came in sort of a covered hot pot. The eggs were extremely runny, which I just wasn't used to. The truffle was good though. My fruit salad was very good. For the 4 of us for brunch, the bill was 240 euro.

This place is so beautiful!! Not to mention so delicious. We came here for lunch, made reservations and requested to be seated in the large atrium style room. The food was so delicious! You absolutely must get the pain perdu. The wine was great. The design of the place is impeccable. And the MUSIC was the best part! The perfect shopping location. You will not regret it.
