The fried chicken here is very well prepared and seasoning. Plus the Korean burger was perfectly balanced, even though you have to buy fries separate it still gets a 5 star from me. Nice atmosphere for bigger groups too.

First time going here but not the last, love the restaurant and atmosphere, good music, good selection of drinks. The staff were lovely cheerful and helpful. The food tasted amazing, I had the buffalo blue and it tasted fantastic, only issue i had was the size of the burger it was tiny, think it was a boneless thigh not breast.

Located very well. Food was above average, burgers were nice but the buffalo wings slightly undercooked and not the spiciest. A new waitress on today who was excellent and attentive. This place has major scope but needs a managers touch.

Went here for valentines dinner with my husband and mum. It was busy with a nice atmosphere, the server was very friendly and the food came out quickly even with being busy. The food was delicious, the presentation was appealing to the eye and the portion sizes were very reasonable. We will definitely be back here next time we're in St Ives. Thank you!

A great little gem of a place off the beaten track away from the hoards of tourists! I've wanted to go here for a while. Recently visited and had one of the cauliflower 'burger' alternatives. It was delicious, and that's coming from a meat-eater! The fried pickles are also worth trying, but note the dip is not vegan. Service was very friendly and good/drinks came out quickly. Will be back again!

Food that makes you think about it a couple of days after, is always a good sign of how good it was! The squealer burger was bangin'! As were the wings! Frickles on point too! Service was great, good atmosphere, started off quiet when we arrived and just continued to get busier and busier, which says alot. Try and get there for happy hour too 😉 Would definitely recommend and return.

The entrance to this spot is a blink-and-you-miss-it type with a narrow door and you climb a fleet of stairs to reach the bar and dining space on the first floor. There is an entrance door to the side which opens to the adjacent road but we knew about it only once we were inside. The decor is mostly dark with an industrial feel to it which works except for the sticky tables and floors caused by remnants of sugary drinks spilled over the years. We wanted to try their fried mushrooms and pickles but sadly they had taken these off the menu. Got a beer and pomegranate spritz and they were both decent. The raging hot wings were delicious though the mix of wings and drumsticks in it was a bit confusing. It was early so got the OG burger and raging hot burgers along with the regular fries and sweet potato fries as takeaway. The OG burger could do with less salt on the batter but probably balances itself with alcohol or other additions to it for people who opt for it. The raging hot burger was ruined when we saw that the hot sauce was poured at the bottom of the burger catering the bottom half of the bun to be swimming in the sauce. The result was a soggy bun dripping in hot sauce. Mind you, this sauce is very hot! The fries were surprisingly crisp even when we had them at home so was happy with that. Service was good and we were happy with the staff who served us which is the reason for an extra star.

Me and my Mrs recently visited for their new Sunday roast. The quality of the food and the value for money was unbelievable and the service from Simon and the team made the afternoon even better. We will absolutely be coming back, and next time to try 1 or 20 of their locally brewed beer. Easiest 5 star we have ever given.

Yelp
We came here last minute after the only takeaway was shut. Stepping in from the gusts of wind we took shelter in a booth. It felt like an American bar with country type music, a massive bar and well awesome food. As the name suggests come here if you only love chicken..you can have anything from chicken scratchings to waffles and pancakes. After ordering a stein of beer each we chose the chicken wings and I shared the big bird..two chicken breasts and lots of bacon! On the side we upgraded our fries to some cheesy ones. The wings flew in swiftly and were of good size. I wolfed three of these down immediately. Wings gone remains soon landed also. I was relieved to have shared it because even with help I still couldn't finish it. The chicken was tender and juicy..the bacon however not crispy to my liking. Service was good and the food cooked well..also nice to have a large choice of beer!

Yelp
Bird & Beer is a very American style restaurant. A rustic, repurposed look and lots of burgers and fried food on the menu. These types of restaurants are on every corner here in California. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. The service was good and they have a nice beer selection as well. All in all a nice experience. So I like this place and would definitely come back.
