Beer Pretzel Restaurant Top of Hill

This restaurant is at the top of a hill overlooking a meadow. The food and drinks were great and the staff were kind. If you get a chance to visit the small church next to the restaurant, it’s worth a few minutes.

Amazing place. We actually stumbled across this restaurant while looking for the neighboring castle ruin a few weeks ago but it was unfortunately closed at the time. We finally made it back for dinner while coming home from Saarschliefe on a warm June Friday evening. The restaurant has amazing outdoor seating with unparalleled views, and we were able to also see the inside of the adjacent church. The food was AMAZING (we got two schnitzel specials, nuggets and fries, onion soup, wine, and schorle) and the staff was helpful, friendly, and great at speaking English. The bathrooms were clean, if not a little hidden behind the building down a stair case. This was a wonderful place to come for a meal or a drink, and we will definitely be back.

Nice beer garden with a view of the valley. Veltins beer. Flammkuchen, salad and traditional German food. Nice stop on the middle of a 10 km hike.

If you want to eat one of the best flammenkuchen's in the area with quite frankly one of the best views I've ever seen, this is your spot! Also the owner was very accommodating to my request extra spice on the side! Top guy :) 5/5

Very nice view, great food, and friendly service. Flammkuchen was a hit with our group. Very nice parking available.
