I visited the place as a bday dinner with my sister. We ordered calamari as our starters with wings and a Salmon Meal at the end. We had a Blueberry Cider drink, the service, the food and the atmosphere were all amazing. We had our privacy and were also socially involved in the environment. Overall the place is has a very good atmosphere for couple dates, family dinners as well as team meetings.

Brewtown Waterloo is a lovely spot with such friendly and welcoming staff! I really appreciate that they offer a separate menu for vegetarians and vegans—it’s so thoughtful and inclusive. I loved how they had options that suited my preferences perfectly. The vibe of the place is cozy and chill, making it ideal for catching up with friends or just enjoying a relaxed time. I tried their food, and it was fresh and flavorful. Overall, a great experience—I’d definitely recommend stopping by!

Good to see so many vegetarian/ vegan options on the menu. Although the taste of the food can be improved especially the main course. Really nice vibes and very friendly staff. Very large variety of beers. Highly recommended place if you are in the area.

Loved our lunch here! Been here a couple of times, and the service and food never disappoint! We sat in the Beer Garden and the vibes were amazing as we got to enjoy music (from another event) and the last bits of summer :)

Google
Great venue for cold beers. Lots of indoor seating area including outdoor patio. Lots of selections to choose from. In house specials on lots of different selections of fresh foods. I would definitely return and recommend.

Google
Lettuce wraps were a bit big this time, but the dish is still incredibly tasty. Their menu has some great healthy options to choose from. Everything is made at a high quality standard. It's nice that they offer a plant based & gluten conscious menu. Edit: tried the Blue Bird sandwich and it was fantastic. Really great group experience at lunch, just a bit longer of a wait than we expected.

Google
We had a great time at Beertown Public House! The vibes and views were fantastic, especially since we sat out on the terrace it was really nice. The food was average, nothing too special, but the overall atmosphere made up for it. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Google
We had a very nice experience here. This location in particular has a really nice atmosphere, can be a bit loud but overall is a great option for the area if you're looking for solid food and drinks. If it weren't cooler I would have gone for their patio which has great people watching. The beer selection is pretty extensive. Although they didn't have the one I wanted in stock, the server did an excellent job of helping me make another selection. If we find ourselves in the area again I'd consider coming back.

Yelp
lively atmosphere making it a great spot for a night out! asked if they could substitute fish to chicken for taco & they said it was not a problem! tacos were huge & super loaded, came with fries and their own take on "ketchup" lol. service was fantastic. visited on thursday evening with no reservation - had to wait 10-15mins. parking lot for the plaza. physical menu available.
google avatar

Yelp
I loved the atmosphere here, its good for a night out when theres nothing else to do on waterloo. We enjoyed the poutine fries, beer, and fries but the fish and chips were a bit fishy though. Theres a parking lot right across the street for the entire plaza so its pretty convenient.

Yelp
Service was good and food tasted good too. Portions were quite big but food was on the pricier side. Most of the of mains were over $20. Restaurant was spacious and had lots of room, even for big groups. It was not busy when I went but you can always make reservations online for incase

Yelp
Beertown has definitely improved. I'm not sure if management has changed or something but they seem to have their operations in line which is great. They are really popular and always busy, so definitely call ahead either to book or go early to put yourself on the wait list. The new menu includes many plant-based and gluten-free options. Overall, it is a very diverse menu. It's one of the pricier options in Waterloo but it's nice and they have a great patio in the middle of uptown square.

Yelp
I had supper this evening at the Beertown Public House in downtown Waterloo. I ordered Southern Fried Chicken and swapped potato salad for fries. The chicken was good. It was thighs so tender. The cottage dressing was a dill sauce and tasty for dipping (I found the house mustard salty and harsh). Dominnik was my server. He was friendly and took good care of me.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday had a seat on the patio sadly construction noise outside killed the ambience although the warm weather override that. Was greeted with a smile and told that the rotating taps selections were on a board inside but not told what they were. Food arrived quickly fish n chips was well portioned although the fries suspecting them to be frozen were at "best" averaging only one inch long. Shared that with the waitress. Food flavour was great. Will give serious consideration on returning.

Yelp
Great place, good fries, good atmosphere. They even played 2 of my favourite songs: The Jean Genie (David Bowie) and Purple Haze (Jimi Hendrix). You don't get many places playing classic rock 'n' roll these days. That alone made it worth it. Friendly and helpful staff as well.

Yelp
The menu has changed a bit in the last couple of years and I'm not liking it as much as I used to. Whenever I came here, it would be for the tacos because I really enjoyed them. Tacos and the beer sampler platters drew me in because it was a great deal to have them on tap and try different kinds. Over the years, the menu has changed and there isn't as much variety as before. Service is still kind of slow even if its not extensively busy. I usually went in a group of 3+ and everytime we had asked for something extra, it would take the servers a bit of time before they brought it to us (even after they've circled us a couple of times). The ambiance is still good, nice gastropub overall. But there's a bunch of new pubs popping up in uptown waterloo that I feel would be better to try than this.

Yelp
Come get a Stein of beer at Beertown. For a couple extra dollars, you can take it home. And while you are at it, order some fish and chips too. They dont skimp on the tartare sauce, or the sweet potato fries. The fish was delicious!

Yelp
I went out in a large group for a friends birthday and servers were very accommodating. I have only been here once before and it was about 2 years ago so I wanted to see if anything has changed. I feel like Beertown is one of the pubs that actually serves quality food. I decided to get the Mongolian Sandwich. The chicken was cut pretty awkwardly where the chicken was like a hot dog on buns made for burgers. Anyways, the sauce was just like I'd imagine, sweet with a little bit of spice. The chicken was crispy and buns were very soft. The fries were okay, nothing too much special there. They have their special malted ketchup which is also a little bit weird for my taste-buds but nothing to complain about. My friends got the fish and chips and poutine. Apparently they were both a little bit mediocre for the price according to them. So maybe you should get something off the menu that is more unique and isn't found frequently in other restaurants. Overall, friendly service and better than decent food at this restaurant. Perfect for a casual dinner with friends and large groups if you're in uptown Waterloo.

Yelp
Went here 8/8/19 while visiting our son who is a grad student at U Waterloo. Found this on Yelp while looking for a bar later at night ... Sat at the bar in front of a curious device I will call the Wamplefabriculator ... a reddish fruit liquid ina clear tube that the bartender said has to be cleaned daily. I tried it and did not like it, but I am more of an IPA, Stout, anything but that drinker. What I did have was an Omnipollo Prodromus, my first ever "deep fried graham cracker chocolate chunk caramel bar Imperial Stout." Like a meal. So rich, I only had one and closed the tab. LOL. Really good. My son had a Line Pine IPA and said it was also very good. I love the huge size of the place, the variety of brew, the detailed info about each brew, the beer boards on the walls, the Wamplefabriculator, the great service and fair prices. My son has at least five years to go in his PhD program. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Came here for a girl's night out. Atmosphere was lit and the servers were super nice. Most of the food tasted amazing!! Would def come back again. Side note: do not order the bacon avocado flatbread it's nothing exciting and the flatbread becomes super watery from the tomatoes. It's basically as it says in the title, baked flatbread with tomatoes bacon and avocado slices thrown on top. The menu made it sound super amazing and it was supposed to have goat cheese on it but we didn't see any. Also the sweet board is great but takes a long time for it to come out and our ice cream was a puddle by the time it got to us, so it was sitting under a hot plate for awhile before getting to us. They need to find a way to get all items at one time on the board so its all completed at the same time, no goopy mess! XD

Yelp
Not really happy with the downhill state of this company, similar to Boston pizza this place will probably be closing next. Use to be good but the food is meh, prices meh. Haven't been back in years

Yelp
Drinks are good, got a ceaser salad with salmon (which was flavorful and perfectly cooked) but salad had way too much cheese and artificial bacon on it (it had an awful Smokey flavor) but artichoke dip was amazing and turkey burger tasted great. This place is better for a fattening meal. Waiter was helpful and nice. Good sports bar vibe. Spoke too soon. Spent the entire night Sick from eating here. Definitely got food poisoning-which seems to be a fluke but the team made sure I was taken care of and checked the food quality to make sure it was fresh.

Yelp
First time to beertown and it was great all around. The service was great, the food was good, great atmosphere and seated on the patio over looking waterloo square. All good things. Recommended.

Yelp
So this is my 3rd review of a Waterloo restaurant. They are surely doing something right in this part of Southern Ontario. Large variety of beers on tap as the business suggests being named "Beertown". The menu is suited for everyone's appetite just like the restaurant itself. Seating to catch the game, seating on a great patio, and seating should you want to have more conversation. An upscale bar without the so called bar food. Beef Brisket poutine with what tasted like homemade beef gravy topped with a delicious aioli was to start but could have easily been a meal on its own. Fish tacos which were light a flaky with a delicious thin batter. Topped with fresh slaw, cilantro, a spicy aioli and accompanied with their house-made hot sauce. An elevated experience surely to make a return visit.

Yelp
Great gastropub in downtown Waterloo. They have 150 beers on tap! A lot of specialty brews and European selections. The food was good too. Went for a work gathering and ordered several appetizers, including the brisket poutine (excellent). Every dish we had was flavorful. Staying the week here in Waterloo, I've quickly noticed the similarities to U.S. southern fare in what we have all come to know as "comfort food." Everyone is definitely fat and happy here, just like back home. Pro tip: try the local Waterloo IPA, definitely not to be missed!

Yelp
Went out for my friend's birthday to Beertown and it was a blast! I got the Yuctana (not sure if that's spelt correct) bowl and they were very nice about excluding some ingredients per my allergies which I appreciated. My friend and I also got the Fuzzy Peach Bellini and my other friend got a fruit beer. The drinks and meals were great and the service was amazing. The price point is a bit higher than I would hope it to be, but for the food and service make it worth it for sure. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time with a group of friends to celebrate the end of a busy term! Beertown has a great location at the heart of Waterloo public square! They're a typical social pub environment with bar foods, drinks, loud music, and TVs with everywhere. The place is bustling with energy. I appreciate the fact that their menu caters for many diets! Including vegan and Gluten Free. The have a bunch of apps, burgers, salads, and bowls. I tried the Asian Power Bowl that came with sesame crusted Seared salmon, spiralized veggies, edamame, brown rice, and a soy-based sauce. They cooked the salmon BEAUTIFULLY. Super tender and flakey. The bowl was also very flavourful and the sauce really brought all the ingridients together! I highly recommend it if you are looking for something healthy, but be warned... it's one of the pricier items on the menu. Service wise, our servers were super nice (having to deal with a bunch of loud students). However, it was pretty difficult to get their attention, even though we came at 5pm before their peak hours. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at Beertown!

Yelp
Loved our visit to Beertown. The place was busy and hoppin' (so to speak). Large portion sizes! The Turkey burger is massive and delicious! Loved my Erdinger on tap! Fish tacos were large and yummy too! Overall a great place and would go back!

Vanessa L.

Yelp
Only been here for the drinks and have to say they're really tasty. The only reason I took a star off is because I haven't tried the food to really give this place a fair score. Service is awesome and timely. They kept an eye on us and only came around when it seemed like we were done (which I appreciate). Tried almost all their signature cocktails and enjoyed each and every one. Will be back to try more!

Yelp
Well this place continues to be a mainstay in uptown Waterloo. After many visits, I think each time I go the food and menu improves. I love that they now offer gluten free or vegan options - even having specific menus for this. It's still a busy place and you take a risk not having reservations but I see that as a good thing most of the time. If you wanna watch a game it get together with a big group I'd still recommend this place. The menu offers variety for everyone.
google avatar

Elisa L.

Yelp
I think most people are attracted to the ambience of this place - really nice decor and setup. Plus, there's room for large groups. The service is fairly good here and the food comes timely. We had a group of 7 (mostly guys) and they sat us down at one of the semicircle booths, which we discovered comfortably fit 5, so we just moved to the tables. You'd think that they'd know it doesn't fit more than 6 people (maybe all girls?) So we moved to a different table, and 3 of the plates were noticebly dirty (could see ketchup stains on them). No big, asked for new plates. They obviously have a huge variety of drinks and beer selection. In terms of cocktails/lighter drinks, I've had their light paddle in the past, which was pretty good. The somer daiquiri I had last night was pretty good as well. They have an interesting menu, with poutine, burgers, schnitzel, big salads, tacos, etc. I've had the pork belly poutine on one occasion and thought it was very good. They also have a spinach & avocado dip appetizer that was decent, although the dip was too thick to my liking (hard to scoop with flimsy nachos). They used old lettuce in my pork belly tacos last night, though. I took a giant bite into my taco and I started tasting something very bitter. I thought it was the cilantro, so I removed it. Turned out it was the lettuce. Yeah, gross. The pork belly itself wasn't that great either. I've had their fish tacos in the best which were much better (and didn't have old lettuce). Was disappointed by that part of the experience, but overall, I tend to have a good time here.

Yelp
Beertown is a really good restaurant to come with friends to get food & drinks! The environment is great and the staff is nice. I came with 5 friends and I wasn't a fan of the table they sat us at. It was like a rectangle but we could only sit on 3 sides. I ordered a tropical mojito to drink and fish tacos. The mojito was really good, the mint definitely made the drink. The fish tacos were also tasty and they didn't skimp on the fish. It also came with hot sauce (that was actually spicy).

Bonny T.

Yelp
Won't serve you alcohol because they know what your drinking capacity is, which is absurd. We didn't create any scenes still we were not served alcohol. I had guests over and i chose that place and was embarrassed in front of them. Not recommended.

Robert M.

Yelp
Tasty like good I eated the fried chicken and it had good sauces and was yummy. Very good service, food came fast and waiter dude was pretty cool

Yelp
Their strawberry beer is the best beer I have tried in my life, they even have a colada version of it!!!! DO try their brisket poutine and tacos trio, U will come back and thank me. ITS SO GOOD.
google avatar

Rebecca R.

Yelp
Came for a birthday dinner and the service and food was amazing! We had the tacos and a couple drinks to be safe and were great. Would def recommend for a mild casual dinner out and will be coming back to try out the rest of the menu.

Yelp
Loved the atmosphere, had the vegan pad Thai and had them make it spicy and it was spicy and damn good :) Quick service, friendly environment:) love it.

Yelp
I've been here a lot in my earlier years attending University of Waterloo and have been here occasionally after that. So I've tried a variety of their dishes, mostly pub-like and basic American / Canadian dishes. They don't have anything unique here except the variety of beers that you can grab with your meals. I think the food here is mediocre and nothing exceptional, but it's not terrible either. Sometimes I found the dishes unexpectedly bland and just not well put together or even sometimes cold (like it's been sitting around for a while). It seems they're trying to be more than a pub by serving non-pub meals but sometimes I find they don't execute the dishes properly. It's often busy and you'll usually have to wait when you come during a week or week night, unless you make reservations which I recommend. I'd come back if other people wanted to, but this is not the first place I'd suggest or want to go to.
google avatar

Yelp
Working in Kitchener and away from home (Toronto) really makes you want a nice meal that can make you enjoy your business trip - Beertown is that haven. I started with the delicious artichoke dip followed by a meaty and saucy Half Rack Ribs coupled with a side poutine. Appetite was pleasantly satisfied, stomach was showing signs of what looked like a 6 month foetus and a waiter that was surprised to find that I was able to find a home for this meal. Of course, can't forget about the brownie and vanilla ice cream dessert because, why not? I am now fat, but overly satisfied. Definitely returning.
google avatar

Artem A.

Yelp
Beertown is an upscale sportsbar with a patio, which generally isn't my cup of tea, but I just keep coming back... Pros. instead of prose: + great beer selection that isn't focused on IPAs, including Innis & Gunn and Fruli + location location location + open late + good service + wifi (good when roaming) + good pub food when you're feelin' greasy Cons: - TOO MANY DAMN TVs playing different things - lack of healthy food options I'm going to give Beertown 4 stars, because I've been there too many times to give it anything lower. PS: 4 beer paddles are worth the money.

Russel K.

Yelp
I ordered the GF Steak and I never questioned that the meal I got was not the GF Steak but apparently they served me the GF New York steak and when the bill arrived they charged me for the GF New york steak like $20.00 more in price and when brought to the waitress attention she did nothing about it.

Yelp
Went there just tonight, so it was busy as expected of a Saturday evening. It was my friend's birthday, and we had a big group. I was surprised with the restaurant interior, I guess it just doesn't suit the name Beertown. The interior is like what you'd expect from Wildcraft and The Bauer Kitchen. As for service, they were quick with cleaning up unused plates on the table but it's sort of hard to get their attention (maybe because it's a Saturday evening). Also, it was very, very loud tonight. My boyfriend and I shared the pork belly poutine and the summer dinner: a tomato bisque, shrimp penne, and strawberry crisp dessert. We also got the Sweet & Light Paddle. In the end, it was filling but also overpriced for the quality of the food; it came down to a total of $60 before tax. I'd say my favourite was definitely the pork belly poutine. It was a pretty big portion for its price, and it tasted pretty good! Other than that, I don't think I would return.

Yelp
I really like this place, as I'd hoped I would. The service at dinner one night was great. An error was made in my order and an allergen was added to my tacos; the waiter not only apologized and got it out of there quickly, but the manager returned five minutes later with a replacement dish on the house. Perfectly handled. Lunch specials are quite good. My companion really enjoyed her wrap and sweet potato fries, and I ate every last bite of my skirt steak salad. It was a splurge for lunch, but it was delicious and came fully loaded. Lunchtime service is quick and efficient.
google avatar

Samantha Y.

Yelp
The menu is very limited here. Only a couple options and they're all pretty similar. Prices are expensive, around $20 per person for lunch. I ordered the fish tacos ($17.99 for 3 tiny ones). The fish wasn't hot, but overall it was okay. Service was good, everyone was very friendly and try to do the best they can.
google avatar

Victor L.

Yelp
Pretty nice bar, very spacious with good service. I just really didn't like the food or drink though as the sandwich and soup I had was just tasteless. I wouldn't come back and would just try something else.
google avatar

Felicia Y.

Yelp
I've been here several times and each time I have left amazed by the food, service and atmosphere. Beertown is always decently crowded during dinner hours which makes the restaurant feel very lively. The interior has a laid-back feel with its soft lighting and wooden tables. There is a bar in the centre of the restaurant and lots of tvs showing different sport channels. My most recent visit was a few days ago, I came here with my boyfriend for our Valentine's date and it was the perfect place. We ordered a beer paddle of local crafts to share and it came with four distinctly flavored beers. I don't drink much normally as I get intense Asian glow so after a few sips of each I was feelin good, I did enjoy the beers though and found them smooth and refreshing. For our entrees, I ordered the standard burger with a veggie quinoa patty and fries while my boyfriend ordered the fish and chips. I believe I found the BEST veggie burger here! The bun was so soft and the patty was moist, wholesome and went deliciously with the garlic aioli. My boyfriend found his meal super satisfying too, the fish was tender and flaky in a nice crispy coating. The fries were served with a side of malt vinegar, a classic combo that always tastes great! Again, a wonderful experience at Beertown and I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
If you're here from the US, this place is basically the equivalent of "Old Chicago" or "Buffalo Wild Wings" or "World of Beer" in the states. Tons of beers to choose from, a sport's bar atmosphere with the corresponding plethora of TVs and loud atmosphere, and some food options. PROS: -Very friendly and accepting atmosphere. Never dealt with any odd looks, and it seems like everybody is pretty laid-back and friendly. Lots of hockey on TV - and even some football! -Our waitress was super friendly. She was close to the stereotypical super-happy Canadian. For real, though, she was great. She accidentally spilled a water at the end of our meal, but she was super apologetic and cleaned it up promptly. My water glass was never empty. -Lots and lots of beer options. If you like beer, you'll find yourself pretty, pretty happy here. Their "Build your own Flight" option makes it easy to choose a couple beers you're interested in for a good price. Flights are served without any indicator of the beers that you ordered, though, so make sure you remember what it was. -Everybody else who got food here enjoyed their food. I have to give them props for presentation - all of their food is presented very beautifully. It looks leagues above most standard "brewpub" offerings and closer to chef-prepared. CONS: -Was not fond of the pretzel at all. Is definitely not something that I'd consider a standard "pretzel". This is disappointing as I was expecting to fall in love with it - and for a place named "Beertown", I expected good pretzels. -Definitely a loud atmosphere. At times, it felt difficult to hear or talk to the people across the table - and Beertown wasn't even at capacity. You may want to try sitting outside if you're hoping for a softer atmosphere.

Yelp
Very much a sports bar. From my vantage point, there were 17 screens I could see that were broadcasting a range of hockey and baseball. We stopped in after dinner, so we didn't order any food. The beer selection was good, the service prompt. Nothing really stood out, hence the three-star rating. It was also basically across the street from our hotel. The good: fast service. The bad: too much stimulus from all the tvs ever.
google avatar

Yelp
Fabulous food! Their gluten free menu is vibrant, tasty and abundant. Polite service, comfy seats. Roomy enough for groups and cozy enough for couples. Highly recommended.
google avatar

Yelp
I love beertown. I know most people come here for the beer but I come here for the food. I've pretty much tried everything on their menu and haven't been disappointed yet. Their tacos are so good, their cali burger is on point, and their apps. Oh my god. Don't get me started on their apps. I have legit tried every single app on their menu and their wonton nachos, beef brisket poutine, parmesan sweet potato fries, flatbreads ..... heaven. The only reason I'm not giving this place 5 stars is because the service is inconsistent. I've had amazing servers, and really bad servers. But overall, really good experiences at beertown. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Beertown is a great place to meet up before or after the game - the atmosphere is fresh and visually Appealing as they have littered the horizon with TVs. The main bar has a video wall which is always showing a current sporting event - food is above average with quality and attention to detail This spot does have an above average noise level so I wouldn't classify it as a place to "chill" so to speak Always a great selection of beers on tap - who would have thunk it ;)

Yelp
Our daughter attends university in Waterloo - so when we come to visit we almost always stop into Beertown for a beverage and meal. Last visit was no exception. Previously my husband had ordered the southern fried chicken and raves about it. This time we both ordered it. While it was a bit overdone - we both enjoyed it. When our server came to ask about our meals and if we were happy with everything we mentioned it was a bit overdone and to mention to the kitchen that they might want to shorten the fry time. He cheerfully thanked us and when he returned with the bill he had taken both of our dinners off the bill. It wasn't necessary and we didn't ask him too. He said he wanted us to be happy about our experience. Well we certainly were!!! The food is good, beer selection is exceptional and the service was extra exceptional. Worth a visit for sure.

Yelp
My fiance and I were blown away by how friendly and attentive each of the staff members were - even the ones not assigned to our table!! Customer service? Knocked right out of the ball park. The food, the FOOD. Great variety, prices, and taste. Two of us split the avocado bacon flat bread to start, and then the pad Thai. Really really delicious. Flat bread hands down amazing. The Pad Thai was good, but I would recommend getting the vegetarian - we got shrimp and it didn't seem to make much of an impression to the dish. For drinks, we each got a paddle so we could try some beers out. We decided to build our own paddles and discovered the Innis and Gunn Highland Scotch Ale (or something like that?) - AMAZING. Overall, this place exceeded expectations. Oh! The décor and ambiance was great. Good music in the background, and a variety of places to dine. Anything to suit your need. We saw groups of friends as well as couples on dates. Five stars!!!

Yelp
Always so full ! Had to wait for 45mins. And we came here twice before but the wait was more than an hour so we decided not to wait... Pub feeling , many tv and loud !need to yell to my friends, but was okay , it was a pub ! The starters were very good, unfortunately they were gone before I got a chance to take a picture . We had sweet potato fries, very good, can't go wrong with that ! The dipping sauce was special, creamy ! We also had tuna salad to share as well, also very very good ! Highly recommended! I had the sampler, apple cider and the strawberry fuili ( I think ) were good, can get those from lcbo as well. The other two were not that good, one was bitter and I forgot the names... I had the pork belly pouting for my main, it was very good! My bf had the prime rib or steak like dish.... The meat was dry and taste-less... He didn't want the goat cheese side so switch to fries instead.... But still the dish was a put down My other friend had half ribs and she said it was pretty good. Overall, very good surroundings and hot waitresses !!! But food is a bit pricy , four of us ate around $160? But we were really really full and I had my poutine packed up !

Yelp
Lunch today with 3 friends....Worst chicken wings ever, dry and over cooked. However, server was very good, made excellent suggestions for a beer selection. Friends had better luck with their lunches.

Yelp
Excellent. Simply perfect. Went here with the wide and kids and even though it was extremely busy, we were seated quickly and service was super efficient. Highly recommend their burgers and any of their beers.

Yelp
Dinner there Tuesday evening. I had the full rack of ribs that comes with fries, coleslaw, and baked beans. It is a ton of food. Fries were ok. The Maple baked beans were terrible. Dry like they were made a week ago and the beans themselves were still hard. The ribs were very good and made up for the beans. If you are looking for low and slow southern ribs these are not for you but they are different and very good. Basically they give you two half slabs. You are leaving very full. The service is friendly and very nice. If you have three friends to drag along the have a "surfboard" of (30) draught beers that you can get for $85. Something worth thinking about. It looks cool anyway but there has to be at least four of you. Try this place - you will like it. Also from a previous visit the best Calamari I have ever had anywhere.
