Begijnhof Hotel

Great hotel. Rooms appear to be esthetically designed for function and ambiance! Maintaining the history of the place as a convent/monastery, the modernization seems like a success, with many antique-like wooden sculptures and paintings. Without a full-blown kitchen on the premises, breakfast was minimal, but good quality, especially the toasted Belgian waffles, as they were light, airy inside but crunchy outside! Service was cordial and courteous as well. I would definitely stay here on my next trip!

Excellent hotel. Beautifully cared for - interesting history. Great idea to have well stocked honesty bar with access to lovely garden area with sculptures. Lovely breakfast area. Feels really special. Parking at the hotel too. Easy to walk into centre of Leuven.

Super hotel with very friendly staff in a great location. Lovely setting and a very unique charm. A short walk from the centre of Leuven, which is very pretty. We stayed before Christmas and the Xmas market and decorations were a real treat. Would live to come back and stay next time in the summer too!

This hotel is amazing . In the most beautiful location . The hotel is clean and well laid out with beautiful gardens and friendly staff . The breakfast is best I've had in a hotel . The choice of foods is delicious, with cooked foods , ham , smoked salmon cheeses , pastries , yogurts , cereals choice of coffees and teas . Delicious. Staff organised taxi for early morning ride to train station . Rest of weekend was within easy walk of hotel . Leuven is amazing and hotel is in perfect area to explore it .

Very nice and well equipped room. Reception staff member Aliza Visscher was extremely helpful and staff in the breakfast room were very welcoming. The cooked breakfast options were a little dry but there were plenty of options available. ||Certainly would consider a return visit! Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at the Begijnhof Hotel. We stayed in a suite, which was very spacious, with a super comfortable large king size bed. Great breakfast, really nice outdoor areas and close to both Leuven centre and the university grounds which were great for our dog. The hotel is dog friendly.

I come to Leuven for business once or twice a year and have tried numerous hotels; none have been as quiet, comfortable and welcoming as the Begijnhof. The room is spacious with all the needed amenities and some nice extra touches. Staff is friendly and helped me with early check-in after my early flight arrived from D.C. The bed is great. Restaurant is also for dinner, and there's a small market two minutes walk to pick up the basics. I will definitely stay here again when I return!

Nicely situated hotel with a lovely garden. Close to (or actually in) the medieval Begijnhof: oldfashioned streets with ancient buildings. The rest of the hotel is nothing special. Eighties styled interior and rooms. Was expecting it to be better. Nice is the breakfast room, but you're only there for half an hour a day.
