Good location. Rooms spotlessly clean, best I've seen. Nice well designed bedroom. No 24 hour reception so if you leave smart room key behind, might be an issue.

A bit dated and noisy (more so with the window open), but we had a clean room and with enough space to put our two suitcases. Centrally located near the train station, but no parking. We loved the fact that there was a great breakfast place just across with lots of locals and typical Basque fare. Our Uber trip to the airport cost us 21 Euros.

Very central located near the metro ,location is just perfect! Check in was on time,room was big enough as the bathroom. WiFi was fast , tv with many channels . We had a room in the back of the building so it was very quiet.A plus that they let us leave our luggages till 20.30 because we had a late flight.

Very pleasant, very quiet because the windows looked out on walls, didn't mind that. Friendly fellow at the desk. Parking garage insanely small like most in Spain. Will come again.

The location is great for visiting the old town or walking along the river to the Guggenheim. Metro and tram are very close. The room is basic but clean. The bed was comfortable and different types of pillow are provided. Shampoo and body wash are provided but are basic. It’s better to bring your own. The only negative for the price is the lack of air conditioning which is a drawback in hot months. One side opens onto a street which is mildly noisy until midnight. The other side lacks a view but is quieter. No breakfast is available but Bilbo Beer next door provides an excellent breakfast for very little money. Staff are friendly and helpful. Can’t beat it for the price.

Very well situated in all respects, particularly if you arrive by train, the Begona is a tad quirky but well provisioned, calm and comfortable with generous room space. It really is excellent value. No breakfasts but plenty of choice just outside. We would definitely come back and I cannot recommend the Begona too highly.

Such helpful staff - we forgot to bring electrical travel adaptors and they lent us some. Smallish room, but perfectly OK for a few nights and worth it for being so close to the river and just a stroll away from the Guggenheim. Walkable, too, from the airport bus stop and to the Old Town. Despite a slight hostel feel, we had beds made each day and towels hung up and bins emptied. Always someone on reception. Plenty of places nearby for breakfast. TV only had Spanish channels that we could find, but good for learning Spanish!

Great location (walking distance to the train station, the famous plaza, old town and the museum) and very friendly staff. The room is not equipped with kettle or hair drier but they will lend you when you ask. Very happy with the hygene as well.
