Behringers City Hotel Nürnberg

Very polite and helpful staff. The room was nice and clean. Good value for money. Parking is a little bit of a problem but the lady at the reception was very helpful, so it wasn't really a problem. 🙂

The hotel is not an understanding one. I canceled my reservation 20 days in advance through Booking, but they charged the full amount from my card. When I explained that this happened because my visa was denied and requested a partial refund, they rejected me multiple times. I can say that it’s a greedy and inconsiderate hotel.

We recently stayed at Behringers hotel in Nuremberg, a small and tidy establishment. While the hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, there were several drawbacks that significantly impacted our stay.|Firstly, the hotel's location is far from ideal. Situated near a noisy road, the constant traffic noise made it difficult to relax or get a good night's sleep. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning was a major issue. With no way to cool the room, it quickly became uncomfortable, especially during hotel weather. The poor ventilation made it difficult to breathe, and opening the windows only let in more noise from the road outside. Unfortunately, we didn't read the full description of the hotel beforehand, because we couldn't imagine that hotels without air conditioning still exist for this price.|When we tried to cancel the reservation upon realizing these issues, we were informed that we would be charged 80% of the price paid, which left us with no choice but to stay. Consequently, our night was a real nightmare.|On a positive note, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the cleanliness of the rooms was commendable. However, the negatives of the noisy environment and lack of air conditioning outweighed these positives. We would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made.

I visited the hotel on business. Cozy rooms equipped with all necessary things. Great location for an affordable price. A good place to stay when you want to go sightseeing. Tram connection to the center. On foot is also not far to walk to the old part of city. Good breakfasts with fresh ingredients. Additionally, all restrictions on Covid-19 were kept. I will definitely come back when visiting Nuremberg.

Uli and Toni are perfect hosts in this very comfortable, spotlessly clean, family-run hotel. I give it an "excellent" rating because it achieves what it sets out to do - provide a really good budget hotel experience. Public transport outside the door takes you straight into the centre and the beautiful Old Town and a simple connection to the Ubahn to the airport

We found the hotel to be quiet, clean, room average size, WLAN was decent, shower good, bed average. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Morning breakfast was more than adequate with freshly cooked eggs made to order. 20 minute walk to Aldstadt. Also free parking for the car overnight but we did have to move it by 8 AM which was no problem for us.

Really cute hotel for a fair fee. Rooms are nice, tidy and spacious. We spent only on night. Had to phone in saying that we were late and the manager was kind enough to let us know that the keys and other paperwork were in a locked safe next to the entrance. Gave us the access code and also we had our parking with our name on it. Brilliant service albeit we didn't really have much interaction with the staff. Arrived late, left early in the morning. Amazingly comfy beds!!!
