Lots of nice things. Worth visiting the building nearby too with more official shops and the same kind of merchandise. Also be aware 90% of the sellers will try to rip you off. In my experience they start at least 4 or 5 times the real price and some sellers try to sell things as antiques and they from the gift shop at the mall. Overall great place to fin memobirilia and Buddhist items.

This was a fun place to kill the afternoon. Lots of unique and fun vendors. Come prepared to haggle. If you are a foreigner be prepared for the vendors to quote huge prices. Everything is negotiable though. I bought something for ¥15 when the quoted price was ¥80. Still worth a visit even if you don’t want to buy anything.

Good market, not too many antiquities though, but interesting to see nonetheless. I bought some cups here, new, but for a good price. There was a sheltered provisional area with real antiquities and other interesting artifacts (mammoth bones etc). On very right after entrance. Also good matcha icecream :).

Interesting place to visit for about 30 mins. Tons of jade, jewellery etc here.

This market sells mostly to locals, and almost nobody speaks English. Mostly selling amulets, rhinestones and some old junk from the mao communist era. Not much variety and nothing to eat for lunch except local buns and snacks. but conveniently located next to the train station.

Did not understand the appeal of this. Most of the stalls had the same things and nothing particularly special. I liked the Jade bracelets and thought I might pick up a few as souvenirs but each vendor was more expensive than the last - with prices higher than $1000 and didn't seem particularly interested in bargaining. I guess you could pick up some small trinkets, but honestly wish I would have skipped. It could be nice to walk around, so not to deter you from checking it out, just skippable if you are pressed for time

Panjiayuan is a historic antique market where you can browse hundreds of stalls for stones, textiles, hand‑painted fans, ceramics, calligraphy supplies, and quirky curios. Prices vary and haggling is part of the fun. A rewarding stop for design lovers and collectors.

There are many Chinese items such as prayer beads, incense, ink paintings, etc. There are also some mysterious items, which are interesting to look at.
