Good market, not too many antiquities though, but interesting to see nonetheless. I bought some cups here, new, but for a good price. There was a sheltered provisional area with real antiquities and other interesting artifacts (mammoth bones etc). On very right after entrance. Also good matcha icecream :).

This was a fun place to kill the afternoon. Lots of unique and fun vendors. Come prepared to haggle. If you are a foreigner be prepared for the vendors to quote huge prices. Everything is negotiable though. I bought something for ¥15 when the quoted price was ¥80. Still worth a visit even if you don’t want to buy anything.

This market sells mostly to locals, and almost nobody speaks English. Mostly selling amulets, rhinestones and some old junk from the mao communist era. Not much variety and nothing to eat for lunch except local buns and snacks. but conveniently located next to the train station.

Great place for beautiful landscapes and other paintings by local artists (mostly selling their own paintings). I only regret not buying more of them! (worth the price without haggling :))

Panjiayuan is a historic antique market where you can browse hundreds of stalls for stones, textiles, hand‑painted fans, ceramics, calligraphy supplies, and quirky curios.
Prices vary and haggling is part of the fun. A rewarding stop for design lovers and collectors.

This is a must for all visitors of Beijing who are interested in Chinese history and culture. You easily find from books, handcraft, pearls of all kinds to replica cultural items to reasonable prices. At least we come 1 or 2 times when visiting Beijing.
