Beim Ditsch

I love Beim Ditsch, the food is great! It’s small and cozy, has a great atmosphere and I love the decorations. I had the white sausage, pretzel and flemmekeuchen, I HIGHLY recommend. Andrea was so nice, teaching me the right way to eat the food. And one of the owners, Hardty, was awesome as well, I came alone and they made space for me even though they had little space.

We went to a ton of restaurants while visiting Germany, Austria and Switzerland & this one was by far my favorite. The food was fantastic. The Apple strudel was the best I’ve ever had. And the server was so kind and taught us how to properly eat the white sausages!

The Schweineschnitzel was very good - crispy outside and tender inside. The chopped smoked bacon on the potato made the salad very nice and tasty. The staff are friendly and cheerful. The food and service warmed up my body immediately after a walk to the Neuschwanstein Castle on a freezing day. Will definitely come back.

Too many restaurant to choose from but this one caught our attention. We had rostï with smoked salmon and salad,it was superb. The lady was very friendly. We had our table outside .It has an outdoor and indoor seatings. Prices are reasonable. Recommended

Wanted some schnitzel after spending the entire day at the castles. This popped up with great reviews. I was highly pleased!! The town is very cute. This little spot had super quick service. The food was fantastic. The staff were so friendly and sweet and attentive. Very affordable! And not the high prices like you see near the castles. Highly recommended the 10 min drive to this little spot! The area directly around this is open to locals only for parking, so you do need to be mindful that you’ll have to park a little way away but not too far. Less than a 10 min walk.

If you’re looking for local, this is it! Excellent Bavarian food. Made with passion. Come to eat here after you visit the castles. Take a walk in the old town and unwind and relax with a good Weißier! Very friendly and warm staff, cozy and quaint atmosphere, a genuine Bavarian restaurant. Highly recommended!

What a find was this restaurant!! We had dinner our last night here and we shared a salad and had the Mac and cheese and the Wiener schnitzel and local bier! The food was very good, the service fast and the ambience, vibe and owners all sehr gut!! Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Fussen! Highly recommend!
