Amazing historic location right by the castle on the top of a hill, but in the centre of Wiltz. Easy access to parking and shops and beautiful walks. Super clean, comfortable, recently renovated. Staff friendly and top- class food. Our room had its own private terrace overlooking the valley. A quiet time of year so not much going on, but I think they should emphasize the quality of the food which seems to be locally based, with tasty vegetarian options and imaginative choices. We had the leisurely Sunday lunch and the poached egg vichyssoise starter, butternut millefeuille and quince clafoutis were perfect. Breakfast too was local bread and pastries, egg, cheese, ham, jam etc. Great job. Thanks! My only suggestion might be a more 'buffet' approach at breakfast because people are greedy (me) and don't like to keep asking for coffee etc.

Beautiful Hotel, close to some shops. The room was very hot, so we turned off the heating and opened the window. Unfortunately only 2 cups for the coffee machine. It would be wonderful to have 4 cups (2 cups of coffee a person). Breakfast was really wonderful 👍🏼 The room was clean and was fine.

I had a fantastic dinner in this restaurant a few months ago and the two hours drive to Wiltz and back was really worth it. The 13.5/ 20 rating in the Gault & Millau guide 2025 will most certainly be topped in the future as it is run by a young and highly talented chef. The combination of the tasting menu and wine pairing coupled with the price we paid in the end was simply unbeatable. A restaurant that definately deserves to be put on the radar screen for fine dining in the North of Luxembourg.

We were there first the food during a company offsite. My rating is reflection of the disappointment related to a specific finding: this restaurant is incapable of managing tables with a big number of persons. During our dinner, there were three big tables. We started at 7:30 and we left the place at slightly more than midnight… The staff was kind and nice but where overwhelmed by the number of people they had to manage. Long waits for drinks, long waits for food (which was only good). It was a real pity for a place that perhaps may deserve more when operating in standard mode. My experience was a total disappointment. This is it….

I recently stayed at this hotel in Wiltz, Luxembourg, and I had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in the heart of the town, just across the street from the town hall. The staff were warm and welcoming, and they were always happy to help with anything I needed. The rooms were modern and clean, and they were well-equipped with all the amenities I could have asked for. I was particularly impressed with the fridge in the room, which was very convenient for storing drinks and snacks. The town of Wiltz is small but charming, and it has a number of great shops and restaurants. There is also a large shopping center just a 10-minute drive away. The countryside around the town is stunning, and it is a great place to go for walks, hikes, or bike rides. Overall, I highly recommend the Hotel Wiltz. It is a great value for money, and it is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in Luxembourg

The hotel is on a hill next to the Castle. Easy walk to forests. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the hotel as a restaurant which was closed on sunday. Free parking and the room was very spacious and modern. Dog friendly as well. Good beds as well and the breakfast was basic but enough for us. Price value a good deal!

The hotel is super clean. The staff is kind. The room service is very good. We stayed for 4 nights in the loft which was spacious and cozy. The furniture, decoration, and all equipment were modern and in good condition. There are not a lot of choices in Wiltz but obviously they did not set a low standard for themselves for that. It is a pity that the staff doesn’t speak English but you can communicate with the help of a translator. The hotel is small so there could be some tiny mistakes in different aspects but everything can be fixed talking to the staff. The regulation of check-in is strict: only after two pm.

It was only a one night stay here but it was certainly memorable. An hour after arriving, we were  about to get a shower before going downstairs for dinner, when water started to drip from the ceiling light in the bathroom. We informed reception, who after some investigation confirmed that the room above had flooded their bathroom, unfortunately the hotel was full, so no other rooms were available, so he simply placed a bucket on the floor to catch the water.  Eventually the dripping stopped and were able to get ready for dinner much later than expected only to find there was no power in the room from the sockets, presumably the water leak caused the power failure.  My wife managed to dry her hair by using a power socket in the hallway!  Thankfully when we returned from dinner, the power was back on and the water dripping had stopped and the bucket removed .||While acknowledging this wasn't the fault of the hotel and they were very apologetic, we had thought they would make a reduction to the cost of room as compensation for the inconvenience caused,  instead, they offered a complementary half litre of house wine at dinner.||Other than this, the room was very good. The hotel is decorated in art deco style which was very stylish and everything is well maintained. There is limited car parking just outside the hotel. Breakfast the following morning was a cold buffet but adequate for our needs.||
