A lovely museum that has a lot of Islamic religious history; mainly when it comes to the holy Qur’an. The place is very well decorated, and the different artifacts are well displayed across several floors. Walking between the floors is through ramps, making it very friendly for folks with wheelchair needs. Tickets are bought at the entrance by cash or card. As a general remark, clothing that covers the body is advised, in addition to head covering for women. Expect to spend 30 minutes onwards here.

I'm sure it's beautiful. It looks beautiful on the outside but it will be closed from the 1st of July to the 31st of August 2025 for maintenance.

Very beautiful museum, where you can find old copies of Quran from all over the world (except the new worlds such as America and Ocenia). There are copies of Quran from Europe too that were printed in Switzerland back in the 16th century. Amazing to know about this! The entrance costs 1 BD and on the left there is a small masjid where Muslims can pray. There is also wudu area.

The renovation is complete and it is open as of November 2024. Office hours are from Sunday to Wednesday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Thursday and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. Beit Al Quran is home to ancient manuscripts and Quran artifacts from thousands of years ago. If you’re interested in religion/history, come by to see. Unfortunately no photographs allowed inside anymore. Entry fee is 1 dinar. When you enter, there is a reception desk where you pay the admission fee. Parking is street parking and can be difficult to find a spot during the week.

The place is very cosy and not very big. You can finish it in under 30 minutes depending on how detailed you want to be. It has a vast collection of Qurans from the very early 1st century of Islam up to modern copies. Don't miss it. Admission is free and donations are welcomed. The museum has a mosque attached to it. The only reason I gave it four stars because it does not have any interactive exhibits, also, you can't see any staff, most probably because the admission is free and they don't have enough funds.

Visited in the morning during Ramadan so I was the only person visiting. Their hours are 8:30am-2:30pm most days during the month of Ramadan so make sure to show up in the morning. Ticket for entry is 1 BD and they do accept credit cards. They have an unbelievable amount of ancient Qur'ans here from across the world in all sizes and styles. This museum has the most beautiful books in the world all on display with many Qur'ans that are illuminated/gold-leafed or in the blue and gold Persian style. By far my favorite spot in all of Bahrain. I didn't see any signs saying no pictures and was not advised that it was not allowed despite the other reviews saying no pictures.

Good quiet museum not for anyone. But little disappointed Good and small-crowded quiet museum but not for everyone. Upset the absence of Quran in Russian (20 million Muslims in Russia).

Awesome place . If you really want to see a piece of history head to bait Al Quran where you will be lost in time . Head there a little early because if you don’t read the description where the fun of just looking at old manuscript . You can expect what you enter here in your mind . Yes you are going to look at old copies of Quran But what caught my eye Manuscripts from 7century with old writing without the DIACRITICS. be astonished to see the tiniest Quran and huge Quran A loooooong 192 cm scroll with Quran And I think the most amazing Quran manuscript is the one where Author has competed the whole Quran in just 30 pages with every line starting with an ALIF أ and a rare Quran manuscript written I. papyrus.. It has 4 floors of different Qurans From Makkah Madina North Africa Syria Yemen , India Pakistani. Iran , London , Germany , and many more .. go there to explore and get lost in this timeless place ..
